I've had my m340i for 8k miles and I love it, enough room for my wife and kid's, the mods are cheap and easy to install. One of the best 3 series for sure if not the best.
Have you done performance mods yet? Was debating on going stage 2

@@carlosguerrero1956 no dealer by law can deny or void warranty without proving that the modified part caused the damage. My current setup includes a JB4 which is a piggyback tune which can be unplugged before going to dealer and a bolt on downpipe which can also be removed. For BMW to search and find these modifications will require an extensive amount of resouces and potentially labor. Obviously for bigger warranty claims, they may see it as a necessary investment as they could save alot of money, however, most times they will not search deep enough to find it. Thus to answer your question- it doesn't... kinda

If a proximity parking sensor says it’s blocked, it’s either leaves or dust. And usually requires the bumper to be removed to clean the plenum space thoroughly. PITA bro. Great vid!

Beautiful car,very fast.Right in between M3 and 330i. However I personally think M brakes are subpar to car's performance.Good for speed up to 70mph.Faster you drive you might be really surprised!The first thing to be upgraded. Other than that I'm impressed with everything else!

I agree it compares with the next model up it’s a great all rounder. With regards to drinking oil I wonder how you ran it in? 0-20 oil that’s a surprise I thought it should be long life 4 / 5W30. Recommend fit low dust pads from TRW of Zimmerman. Fit a catch tank as all direct injection engines suffer from dirty inlet valves and ports. Otherwise nut blasting required at around 30k miles.that is a contributing factor to you’re using a lot of fuel at 25k miles.

Had a 330i for a loaner. I have to say way more fun than my 540

@@FlexSZN23 It was surprising good for a base 3er! But of course the 5er is a bit for comfortable (but like its very close imo) I mainly drive it in sports mode so... that might be a factor xD. I would trade mine in for a 330e/m340 tbh with u. Its that addicting and fun to have small toss able car but also comfort and fuel efficient. (Had like over 400miles full tank on the loaner for the 2weeks and about 1500miles)
I’m deciding between this or a new M3. Do you think the extra 20K is worth it for the M3?

I think the 20k is relative....depends on your options. You can spec you opt on the M340 to late $70ks or get the base M3 for $76ks with few spec.
M340i 100% cuz it looks much nicer then the ugly grill and you can get full options with that 20k
That’s a upgrade I always hated paddle shifters on a automatic. If you want to shift gears swap a manual.

I driven both. The M3 is more planted but soaks up bumps better… you really notice the power difference past 80mph, advantage G80 (it’s a beast!)… Low end torque, up to 60mph, they are in a dead heat (G80 was RWD version)
Unless you plan on tracking a lot, G20 should be more than enough

@@kbvlogs4339 it shows up when I use google maps to navigate via CarPlay, but not the Waze app. It does so automatically with google maps running. Maybe your car needs a software update. There was a recall related to the software for 2019. Mine is the latest, according to the representative I spoke to at the BMW dealership.
