Love the design. I am going to make several of them. I save all my scraps and have multiple strips for this design. FYI, you started with a 5 x 5 card and went in an inch on either side, you center will be 3 x 3, not 4 x 4 which you referred it to. You end up with a 1.5 x 1.5 for the final center square, not 1 x 1.
This technique makes beautiful cards. If you want "long-term" storage such as adding this to your scrapbook, DO NOT USE SCOTCH TAPE. The acid will work through the card stock if it is not acid-free; the same is true for the tape on the paper folds. Make sure everything is ACID-FREE. How do I know this? I worked in an archive and the destruction of tape and rubber bands can destroy paper. Enjoy and have fun making this.
Beautiful!! Love this, Michelle!! 💜
I've wanted to do this. I even have a pattern. Now, I'll give it a go.
Yay! It's a bit addictive! ;)

You're right! Thank you for pointing this out!

Absolutely - thanks for the tips! If you are making this for a scrapbook you would want to take precautions to make this acid free.
