The thing is I believe when the time comes that Gary Glitter passes away then it is when everybody will want to play his music officially and talk how they enjoyed his performances.
Absolutely awesome Paul me old mucker...I always knew that edited version thats been around for years was wrong - and now we finally have the full version, and in this one performance,it is so easy to see how crucial The Glitter Band were to GGs stage appearances, and so good they had Peter Oxendale on keyboards for this (always thought they should've made him a full member). Great shit Paul, and just before Xmas
I never liked his songs or his show, not my kind of rock but considering his age I think that his current sentence is too harsh. He has paid for his crimes. Let him go without looking for the slightest misstep to lock him up again.
The Glitter era was over very quickly, lasting from 1972 to about the end of 1974.Then the trend seemed to flop. You can see the Glitter Band was trying to change its image, calling itself the "G" Band, and Gary began trying to move away from the Band and become a solo artist.
... sorry folks, but GG just didn't get it in time when the whole 'glam & glitter' was over, and this ridiculous performance proves it! Not to speak of what became of him later...

Great performance with The Glitter Band who were also looking very Glam. wonderful days🤩🤩
AND LETS SAY HE WAS SEXY AND A HEART THROB TOO CRITICS OF HIS DO ONE.
The only thing that stops me from leaving a like is the fact that Gary Glitter sings the song!
Thanks again Paul, you know why I'm swooning !!! 😀 "My heart belongs to you Gary " luv ya xx 💘 😘
LOL..... Brilliant..... Take it easy..... 😉👍
@@vjmusic. Yeah I'm gonna faint at this rate...!!! 😂 Keep the fab videos coming, FANTASTIC x
amazing , full version at last ! , lets hope there is the papa oom mow mow , dragon performance to follow , that was cut very short also
coming up soon Paul 😉
A very good bass line in this record. Who ever is the Bass player very talented played like a rhythmic guitar and I like the fade out at 3:23.
The bass player was John Springate who just released a new solo album.
He was brilliant .

This was super gay/camp fabulous!
geez, gary. that outfit top looks like a cocktail dress in a dive bar.
You often got the idea that the Band and Gary had somehow gone their seperate ways and just appeared on TV to try keep up the "Glitter" image almost.
No wonder everyone wanted to be in his gang
Good tune😊😊😊
Sensacional Glam sex! 💙
😷✌🔰👏👏👏

You're off by a year in both directions . Glam started in 71, the flops started in 76.
Is this song dedicated to the original glitter band.

Good point, I do agree with you but I have to say this is an absolute banger.
Hi No I think he did he personified Glam and Glitter as did The Glitter Band and they was extremely under rated as a group too as they still are
