  • Just got the new SwissCDC multi loop tool and figured for my 3rd bug I would do a UA-cam Live with my first impressions. There are always pros and cons to all tools and in this live feed I use the tool making a dubbing loop for a balanced leech using zero gravity dubbing. As with any new tool or technique, it takes a few dozen to many dozen bugs to truly evaluate the tool. Overall first impressions is this is going to be a very awesome tool.

      Yeah hopefully I’ll get some more bugs tied with it and have a better review in a few weeks

    One little trick I use on the metal edges of shanks, pins, or wires, if needed, is a dot of UV cure resin that will help keep my thread from getting cut as I tie. Thank you for the review of the SwissCDC multi loop tool!!

    Wish we could see a close up of what you are doing vs. the full screen of your shirt -- nice shirt tho, thanks

      The purpose of the video wasn’t to show the fly but rather the overall use of the new tool. When showing close up of the fly you won’t be able to see much of the tool featured.
      For a close up video here is a link : ua-cam.com/video/IQ5dsoMYvGs/v-deo.html

      Sorry - probably critical -- sorry - I was hoping for a detailed use of all the slots -- the site you sent me to ended with a great fly (not using the new tool at all) I like your finished fly as well … just hoping for a closer view of the slots and why and what for - using each -- sorry … and thanks for the quick response

      @@garryervin3463 correct. Sorry I assumed you wanted to see the fly up close as you mentioned to see what I was doing and not my shirt.

    You actually use the right part of the marabou feather? !!! Subscribed! I see so many stiff buggers tied that have no action tied by "experts"! Really nice video!

      I don’t know if there is any right or wrong part when it comes to marabou tails. But the stem adds some stiffness for sure.

      @@Svenddiesel "Right" is a pretty strong word! I do definitely prefer the side if I want my fly to swim.

    What was that black teasing tool? Velcro of some sort? DYI?

    • @Svenddiesel
      @Svenddiesel  3 роки тому

      Nope. It’s a stainless steel brush I sell in the automotive for removing battery acid. It’s a oversized tooth brush with stainless steel bristles. I’m sure you could find them online
