I LITERALLY just received both Group N motor mounts and transmission mount today! Along with complete Whiteline Bushings as well as a Perrin Pitch Stop mount. Cannot wait for the weekend to get them installed to see what it does for the car!!!
@@ThuGnificent1236 the TLDR of upgrading to stiffer mounts and bushings is to increase rigidity and response. There is less movement causing either a delay or disconnect feeling. I'm hoping to have a more planted feel to the ground and feel less "slop" while driving.

The one you pulled out is an oem sti trans mount; unless you already had a group N in there cause the sti and group N look very similar. The old trans mounts have cut outs in the middle which is probably what your thinking of.
You should see if the one you took off will fit Diego or someone else and install it without them knowing to see if they feel a difference after driving.
It’s better you change the mount to the Group N anyway because then you have the peace of mind from it, you know exactly what’s in your car and how it was installed. Also your car sounds amazing! Seems like there’s unique about your setup compared to others with similar mods
Front & Rear shifter bushings will tighten up that annoying slop you get with the subaru shifter. I’d go with whiteline Polyurethane bushings, less expensive, good product ;)
I upgraded my trans mount a few months ago and I found out I already had the group n on the car aswell. Guess it’s a pretty common upgrade. Still threw the new one on anyways🕺

The group n mount really helps the trans from feeling like mushy garbage everytime you shift and step on it.
