About a handful of divers committed suicide from this, because of the horrors they kept experiencing at night while sleeping and during the day. One diver (who committed suicide) mentioned every time he goes out to the sea, he'll see seagulls, looking very cute and beautiful, even their cries were beautiful. This diver immediately knew they were cries from younglings down at sea bottom crying for help. Has anyone seen Jaws? I bet all of you. Everytime I think of divers pulling out kids from the cabins, the scene from Jaws (eyes wide open and body blown up) comes to mind - very disturbing.

to this day I still find it crazy that they would even stay put, my ass would be like "fuck you no" and I would be making a B-Line to the deck so I can jump off and swim to a boat. TRUST YOUR GUT.
So sad, I don't want to think about what all the girls were thinking in their last minutes while they're still alive. Why didn't they go out of that cabin when the water came? Where they just sitting there with eachother closing their eyes and stopped breathing? I wouldn't listen to the crew members to stay where I am when I'm so far from outside the ship.
The kids genuinely trusted their lives to the captain and to all the folks who they "said" will come and rescue them, maybe thats why they didn't try to escape at first becuase they might have also thought that not following it might as well kill them. Sadly all of it ended with a false hope.
That's the culture of koreans to always be obedient to their elders and those higher than them. They followed what the announcements were saying because they were just high school students who trusted the captain and truly thought that's the SOP.
Ana G none of the teachers or students survived, the crew and captain told them to stay put then escaped and some other passengers got out but besides that everyone else unfortunately did not make it

if only more was done to rescue these students… 6 years have passed but it still hurts to know that the government had delayed rescue efforts
Obama has more blood on his hands than many other potus. How easily ppl are fooled by a few words. Smh. Go do some god damn research on the bloodshed Trump has *_avoided_* if that's what you were getting at. F***ing minion.
@@jellyfishi_ trump has been attacked by politicians on both sides. He said he wanted to drain the swamp and rhinos sure don’t like that.
One of the civilian divers committed suicide 2 years after the Sewol accident and stated that he was haunted by the images.
May God be there for them and forever and may be blessed👼
Why wasn’t God on the scene preventing this from happening he is all powerful all knowing
They should be rescue or survive. We can stop/prevent this disaster but didnt due to stupid leadership of governor.. Country similar to ship! If captain dropped ship, all people would be die. I dont believe she(the daughter of dictator) has good leadership for my country and world.
Glad she is now in jail. What should have been a milestone that she became the first woman president in S Korea became a huge disgrace.
I keep thinking what the scenery was when these divers found students - not only find them but drag them out one by one.
😐after 7y ,is still scary to watch and empathize with the young people who lost they life... So sad r.i.p 😢
Prayers to all the family members who lost there loved ones such a sad tragedy that shouldn't of happened may they all rest peacefully🙏❤
IT MUST BE SO PAINFUL SLOWLY DYING DROWNING 💔😔 PLEASE REST IN PEACE
I'll never understand why they refused help. Was it pride?
Yup
That was a sacrifice. The world needs to wake up. They sacrificed these innocent children.
I maybe delayd,my condolance to all families that was lost, words cannot explain,im so broken😭r.i.p.beautiful angels🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😢i hope your families one day find peace🙏
There was an announcement asking them to make sure their life jackets were on tight
That ship's captain and crew escaped the ship alone, leaving everyone on the ship alone.
The captain even told the students and everyone to stay on board and escaped.
I cant imagine the feelings of divers seeing deadbodies😔
the captain and the crew were criminally derelict in their duties to save the kids. the captain saved himself fist and left the kids to drown .
Air pockets wouldn’t have given them much time if they were all in a small room.
The captain and the crews sent those kids to watery graves...😡😡😡😡😡
I cannot imagine being on this vessel with water pouring in and facing imminent death….
im thinking so hard that they were all together because of how they were so scared of what's going to happen to them.
They all actually stayed where they were but the girls after they realize it getting to the point of it being too late and the ferry sank side ways so there bodies COULD'VE just fall in idk this case is just sad .Thats wht I think and what could've actually happen
Thats terrible
Proper Emergency training will save future lives. Helps ease the chaos because everyone will know what to do, how to act, WHERE to go and where NOT TO GO in emergency situations. I know this is older but it seriously bothers me that people die due to lack of planning and education.
They was told to stay still and in Korea obeying instructions that r giving r a really big thing .It was their first time on the ferry and the captain left first after he told them to stay still .
It's has almost been 7 years
If they don't want to help the students then don't just save yourselves but damn why did you order them to just stay there?? They can save themselves even without your help but you didn't let them. So cruel. You maybe escape death but we all know that after all this you know where you will go.
so sad... one of the rescue divers committed suicide because he saw small birds flying over the spot where the ferry sank and heard the bird cries, he said they sounded like the wails and screams of the students begging him to not leave them behind and rescue them and he was traumatized.... the SK government and the captain’s crew really fucked this up and sabotaged this....
Pressure pushing down on me, pressing down on you
when i saw that body was taken out, i just wanted to hug it...
Did they murdered these innocent people? Can live vest be more danger instead of good then what's the sense of having it then????
Some of them didn’t even get a chance to live there lives to the fullest
Its been 8 years now
If a ship is sinking why would you stay inside regardless of instruction
Sooooo sadddd
I hope all maritime authority made mandate on emergency respond plan and training audit time to time. Totally unacceptable
I hate how the South Korean politicians of that time stand there as if their mourning when they are responsible for this
not enough, there must be real justice.
Passengers were not rescued while the ship was afloat. The Coast Guard waited for the ship to sink before they acted!
Watching this video to commemorate the lost souls of Sewol Ferry tragedy. #REMEMBER_0416 #NeverForget #8thYear
to this day I still find it crazy that they would even stay put, my ass would be like "fuck you no" and I would be making a B-Line to the deck so I can jump off and swim to a boat. TRUST YOUR GUT.
Captain saved self. Figures
I’m sorry, but read the moving headline below in Obama’s speech.
🎗
💔
obey until death thats a none sense
I wonder if this response to the orders given by Hitler( to stand fast at Stalingrad and wait for rescue
Did the girls survive????
No!
Ana G none of the teachers or students survived, the crew and captain told them to stay put then escaped and some other passengers got out but besides that everyone else unfortunately did not make it
@@paigeskandera471 few students survived i think.
Something about 70 students survived they got rescued but idk Wikipedia says different.
75 out of 325 students survived...

Say what you want about Obama but Jesus Christ public speaking by people who hold public office has seriously declined... That man was unmatched in recent years...
Heard it was related to some cult thing
