Tony Randall was one of the greatest american comedians of all time. Love the three movies he made with Rock Hudson and Doris Day. The best movie trio of all time.
If you haven't seen it, check out "Foolin' Around." Gary Busey, Annette O'Toole, Cloris Leachman, Tony Randall. Tony plays a butler and he's side-splitting.

I'm a child of a WWll vet & I'm 75! I have loved Tony Randall's performances since he did "Mr. Peepers" in 1952 & feel that he might as well have a few good final years & leave his fortune to a loving wife & kids!

I'm glad that Mr. Randall was able to find love again and he and his second wife had a good life together. What's alarming to me is why Cathy Lee kept bringing up Mr. Randall's first wife and death. After the wedding photos were shown, Cathy went back to talking about the death of first wife. I thought the segment was supposed to be about his life then and new wife.

I recently saw an interview with Tony’s coworker and friend jack klugman. He explained Tony’s personal life: his first beloved wife died and he was devastated. He later remarried and was finally given the opportunity to become a father, although it was later in life. I’m glad Tony was able to move on from his personal tragedy and experience fatherhood especially before he died. He and jack were great friends to each other.

I think it's a disgrace and shows complete disrespect of one's heritage to change their birth name, unless when a woman gets married. If a woman gets married and DOESN'T change her last name, that shows disrespect to her husband. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the name"Aryeh Leonard Rosenberg"! Most likely the change was made as a result of pressure from a greedy Business Manager and or Studio, in anticipation of greater recognition and subsequent monetary gain?!
I always liked Tony Randall. In fact, i once heard Jack Klugman saying that Tony was like an old jewish mother and that he could sometimes become such a real drama queen, during talkshows. He was about 75 around that time and the lady host thought that it would be a compliment to tell him that he looked 50. But no! Tony said he looked more like he was 30 and that wasn't good enough to satisfy his overwhelming self-righteous ego Then Tony looks at the co-host, next to Regis Philbin, and he says that she's been saying all the wrong things, since the very begining of the interview, filled with wrong questions. How! rude can you possibly be, when this time, Tony Randall went a little bit too far off from the edge...! Thank you! UA-cam Johnny, Montreal, Canada
I'm glad he was able to find love again and have children. And I'm glad it was in the 90s when people seemed more accepting of age differences. Nowadays he'd be accused of taking advantage of her, controlling her, yada yada. Because apparently young women today are mindless idiots with no agency or autonomy. At least that's the narrative people like to push right now.
Ridiculous for people to pass judgment on situations they know nothing about. Tony was married to his first wife for 54 years. For whatever reason, they didn't have children. After she died, he was lucky to find a woman he felt comfortable enough to marry. Tony became a first-time father in his 70s! I don't care if the young woman married him solely for financial security, if they both benefited and got what they needed from the relationship, then it was a happy union, and no one else has a right to judge them for it. Tony's final years gave him the experiences of being a new father - they had a boy and a girl - which gave Tony a new purpose, though a senior! (Most elderly people wither up and die after the death of their longtime spouse). Bottom line, if you are sitting here passing judgement on him (or her), then you have yet to learn life's greatest lesson -- that it's too damn short, and you should take happiness wherever you can find it.
