Anyone know if ROG are keeping their 37s? I heard they were staying as ROG didn't want to use the 93s for stock moves but people are saying the ROG 37s will be stood down when the 93s enter service!
Europheonix are definitely keeping there class 37s for a lot more time because they have recently added 4 more class 37s to their fleet, they also confirmed they won’t be replaced by the class 93s.
Could potentially the bodies of the 60's be used and instead of a diesel engine retrofit them as electric locos with pantographs etc, seems a shame to waste all the body shells, would certainly be interesting to see.
Nice video today. I saw 93001 when it was testing between Worksop and Sheffield a few months back. Nice to see 002 finally arrived though.
Amazing nice movements
Excellent video as always 👍

93002!? 😮 When did that sneak itself into the country! 😂
Probably on an illegals boat after the manufacturer's paid the smugglers to take it.
@@adrianpoole9201 🤣
Will the class 93's be around after 60+ years of service like the class 37's........................ I think not...
Agreed - Getting the 93’s to do something would be a starter for now I’d say 😜
You took the words right out of my mouth..@@trainsplanes
They don't look half as good either.
@@lisaodd3196 Couldn't agree more.

I think ROG just acquired some of the surplus DRS 37s? If so, then it shows an intent to continue with their use for a while, thank goodness
Could I ask how did you get to your viewing point please?
I am hoping to pay a visit soon
Hi Simon, it’s a footpath at the end of Bessell Lane.. Following it along the side of the sidings and up the hill for a vantage point over the yard 👍

What’s happening with the 60s
They’re counting down the days until the inevitable unfortunately 😢
Sad there not that old
