This video was based on the live action Villians. Their Villians Lair series is based on the animated movie Villians. Another terrific stand-alone video from Pattycake is Born Bad, with Cruella from the most recent movie. The song was written by Layne and Tony, but it’s the song that should have been in the movie but wasn’t. You may know by now that Pattycake Productions is owned by Layne Stein (beatboxer from VoicePlay) and Tony Wakim (former VoicePlay baritone.) This includes Pattycake Studios, where VoicePlay and Geoff’s videos as well as other artists videos are often made. Tony is responsible for making almost all of the beautiful costumes you see in their videos (and some for VoicePlay as well.)

That and this one are both in my playlist. Tony and Layne do an excellent job writing, arranging, editing, producing, etc their videos. Even acting in some. I know this is a year later but Pattycake Productions released their newest video a couple weeks ago. "You're The One With The Problem". The company that makes the Genshin Impact video game commissioned Pattycake to create a song and video for the newest update to the game a month or so ago. Featuring 3 of its villains..... Arlecchino, Scaramouche and La Signora. They released it a few weeks ago. It is absolutely fantastic. My #1 favorite song and video. It has this same vibe. Very upbeat.
I love all of their videos. Tony and Layne write, etc fantastic videos. Their Villains Lair is amazing. So far they've done S1E1- S2E4. They're presently working on S2E5.
