Did Scientists Find Evidence That Thor Was Real?

- Опубліковано 19 чер 2019
- Could the God of Thunder, Thor, actually existed in real life? Well in today's animated educational cartoon we look at some hard evidence that could prove that Thor may have walked the earth, with his trusty hammer at his side.
CORRECTION: Meant to say Norse Mythology not Germanic Mythology! Apologizes to anyone who was offended.

Speaking from a purely intellectual point of view, all myths and legends have a glimmer of truth to them. The stories of the gods of various cultures were most likely inspired by actual men who did real things, it’s just that the stories became exaggerated over time.
That’s what I always thought.
They may have just had high tech weapons.
One thing to consider is that the viking Norse and the Greeks, along with many others, are all branches on the Proto Indo European family tree. This means that all those cultures are decended from a single common ancestral culture. Using common linguistical concepts found throughout the entire Proto Indo European family tree of languages, we have reconstructed that common ancestral language. Looking at the different Proto Indo European mythologies, we were able to likewise reconstruct much of the Proto Indu European mythology. Well, looking over these different mythologies, scholars noticed that more than a few Proto Indo European cultures featured a story of a god, armed with some sort of bludgeon weapon, vanquishing a monster multi headed monster described as either a dragon or snake. Examples include the Norce god Thor, battling the Midgard serpent, the Kreken. And many others, with his hammer Mjonir, the Greek god Hercules battling the Hydra, with a club. A Phoenician/Caanenite myth of a storm god battling the leviathan. (A version of that one can still be found in the Bible) And a Persian myth of Murdock battling the dragon Tiemut with a mace. Scholers have taken these common mythical tropes and reconstructed the Proto Indo European story of the Proto Indo European protector god Tritose battling a multi headed snake. According to the reconstruction, the story tells of an event in which a giant multi headed snake has abducted the Proto Indo European women taking them away from their homes, the great protector god Tritose armed with his bludgeon ventures off to the lair of the giant snake to rescue the women but sadly gets there too late as the women were already killed and eaten. And Tritose slays the snake avenging the women. Now, the question of this story being a real-life historical event is intertwined with a significant finding in our reconstruction of our genetic Proto Indo European ancestry which found less then 20% of our Proto Indo European ancestry is female. With the Proto Indo European men mostly marrying women of other tribes. Likely, after exterminating all the men from those tribes. This lead Scholers to believe that the Proto Indo European men led a long brutal war against all neighboring tribes, likely out of vengeance from those neighboring tribes murdering all the Proto Indo European women. This led the academic community to theorize that the story of Tritose battling that giant multi headed snake was likely a tribute or historical account to the religious elements of this war. The neighboring tribes abducted the Proto Indo European women as sacrificial offerings to numerous snake dieties they worshiped. The giant multi headed snake in the story serves as a mosaic composite of all those different snake diaties. With Tritose being given the credit for the Proto Indo European men's ultimate victory in that war, and overall eradication of those different snake worshipping religions. Was Tritose an actual military leader in that war? Far more likely, Tritose was a long previously established god of the Proto Indo European pantheistic religion. He is a purely mythological figure. If Tritose was based on a real-life person, Tritose at vary least, was a man who lived and died at the beginning of the Proto Indo European culture, millenia before the vikings arose from the ashes of the decline of that ancestral culture. With the aforementioned holy war against those snake worshipers, being dated around 7500 - 7800 years ago, with the Proto Indo European tribe peacefully coexisting with those neighboring tribes for at least a few centuries before that war. Putting the origins of the Proto Indo European culture at over 8100 - 8400 years ago. And likely to be as far back as 9000 years or more. The life of the real Tritose could vary well date back as far as the Globeckly Tepla stone circles which were ceremoniously buried around 10,000 BCE roughly 12,000 years ago after likely centuries of use as a inter tribal community gathering place potentially going back as far as 11,000 BCE, with this stone circle being built as tribute to some shared common history between these different ancient tribes. A common history that could have dated back decades or even centuries before that stone circle was built in tribute to this historic event. So the life of the real Tritose could even be shrouded in that common history which that stone circle stood tribute to, which could be as far back as 12,000 BCE or earlier.
That’s true for “The Orishas” of the Nigerian pantheon as well !😃👏🏾👏🏾

Is it a coincidence that this was released on "Thor's Day", aka Thursday? Bet it isn't.
Mjölnir is still today worn as necklaces by many scandinavians. It,s a symbol that is an important part of our culture and history. Actually Tor eventually can go back on the memories of a chief over a bronze age tribe called the Warrior-axe people. They arrived to Scandinavia in the early bronze age, ca 4000 years ago. Their special weapon in battle was a hammer shaped warrior axe. Their leader according to the legend schould have been extremely tall, big, redhaired and outstanding in battle. So, "Tor" can have existed in a very distant past but IF he did, he was probably a mighty and carismatic leader of a bronze age tribe. As the millenias passed, legends created him in to a god.
