The reason why Brokk and Eitri wanted Loki's head: Because they wanted to know how his brain worked to come up with his infamous schemes, what makes him tick . Like scientists wanting to study the brain of a sociopath
Loki is hardly the victim in this story. He's the one that stole the hair of a Goddess. He's the one that came up with a way to get himself excused for this, by tricking the Dwarves. He's the one that agreed to stake his own head when one of the Dwarves saw through his scam. And he didn't even honor that promise in the end, mostly weaseling himself out on a flimsy technicality.
@@modothegreat108 Not to mention that he and his children are the main curse of Ragnarok. Even so Odin treated him as someone of his family and because of his greed.
Odins spear also had the ability to never miss its target, which was helpful for odin because he only had one eye. And Mjollnir had another, maybe two other abilites. The hammer could grow and shrink its size, so much so that Thor could hide it in his shirt. And the hammer would instantly kill anything it was used againts. But this could also be explained by Thors ridicoulous strength. His strongest hits with the hammer left literal valleys where there were mountains before.
yeah but then he would probably have to pay them, and that would involve going back to Asgard to gather the needed Gold where a pissed off Thor is waiting.
Yeah, but Loki is a "trickster." A con artist and pathalogical liar. He always takes the path of (seemingly) least resistance, which is telling people whatever it takes to get them to do things. Loki is our hero in disguise
Loke not Loki!
@@Spino2Earth what have I typed
@@Spino2Earth It is Loki
@@Spino2Earth That maybe the Norwegian way to spell it, but it is spelled differently in other counties, such as Faroese Lokki, Danish Lokkemand, Norwegian Loke and Lokke, Swedish Luki and Luku, along with Finnish Lukki, or Old Norse Loki. I go by the Old Norse spelling of Loki, it's not wrong, it's just how many people spells it.
@@andyroth1456 Oh, you win!
idk why i love this guys voice
"It sounds like you had a special relationship with this hammer, and that losing it was comparable to losing a loved one."
This is *LOW KEY* a good story!!
Mr Filmmaker choke
Animator: so how Loki would look like?
TED-ED: yes
I feel like Loki truly loves his family. He just has an odd way of showing affection.
I think Loki is such an interesting figure in the Nordic mythology. The Norse Mythology is famous for having highly realistic gods, but Loki stands out as the more interesting one because he's so disaligned as far as a character goes. Thanks for the interesting story.
Brokk: Thors hammer never shatters.
Hela in Ragnarok: ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT.

It didn’t shatter in Thor ragnarok though, it was crushed.
True
@Dr ROLFCOPTER! To be fair, Marvel's Loki is also a frost giant.
