I would prefer Lego to use more black pins. Paying a premium for a 1:8 scale car only to have blues and yellow sticking out all over the place is rather aggravating.
I get it but it does make it hard sometimes to find prices but some of them are just a different color for no reason on the Lego w14 set you can clearly see a bright orange piece inside the car just make it black
There were certainly moments during the build where I wished for more colours in the palette... but then when it stands on the shelf, it looks great without red or blue pins sticking out. You just have to decide for yourself which is the worst pain, I guess.
It's great to see other brands getting reviewed, there's a lot of competing brands now but none of them have nearly as much visibility or coverage as Lego.
As a LEGO fan, the patent on the brick is done. I welcome all competition now, LEGO has to step up its game when it comes to things like technic, cars, motors, controls, lights, etc. there is so much more out there than big, expensive licensed sets that are now 500+ dls
CaDA is quite interersting, but very challenging. I have their LaFerrari (although it's not called that) and is was long and hard building process, at times even frustrating. But the result looks good, though a bit fragile. But as a good alternative go Lego at a significantly lower price (since that one was not motorized) I'm satisfied with the set. This one looks amazing, wish there was an alternative without RC, like it was with a Ferrari 458.
I gave up on the la Ferrari. Part quality wasn’t great and parts of the body were way too fragile. Currently building the AMG one. Part quality is excellent and the build has been excellent although still quite tricky in places. The fact you build the la Ferrari in modular form didn’t help either.
Wait, what? You're advocating blue pins and yellow/red axles? Because it makes building easier? Dafuq? An experienced builder like you should be able to get the correct piece no matter what color, right?
Yes, I am advocating color coding, because I am not only thinking about myself. People with different skills and experience would like to enjoy building sets, and color coding helps a lot with that. Although I am an experienced builder I find searching for specific pins and axles super annoying if they are all black.
@@RBsGadgetReviews I won't deny the fact that color coding makes the build way more easy, it does. But then the end result looks nothing like I expect from a premium brand, which is sad. The color coding does add another level of enjoyment to my builds when I get rid of all the stupid colors Lego put in. It does cost 50-100 euro more for a supercar set and I have to get some parts from alternative manufacturers as Lego doesn't produce them in the right color (or bricklink sells them at ridiculous prices, like the axle pin for 2 euro a piece).

Just like the half pins are available in different colors why can't the 2L and 3L as well? Or just throw in a bag of replacement black pins.

Hi, I wanted to ask you if in your opinion it is possible to avoid fitting the engines. Since the model will remain exposed inside a piece of furniture I don't see the point. However, I would like to leave the one with the doors and the lights working. Do you think it's possible? Thanks for the info
Hello friend!!! I would like to make a request! Can you also review the Rastar MC20 Nettuno? It appears to be a good build, but unfortunately, all the reviews are in another language and you’re one of the few from Europe that provides excellent reviews in English!!! I'm kinda feel like you didn't show us as many interesting building parts (not pieces) + techniques like you'd do if it was a LEGO review. I as well feel like I don't know nothing about the chassis and mechanims inside the model. Everything else was just fine and as usual nonetheless. I'd like to say thank you for the review, I've been looking forward to seeing it and yet I'm disappointed a bit...
Honestly there wasn't that many interesting things going on in the model, apart from the motorization setup which you could see in details. The paneling is interesting and tricky, but you can also see that. I wish I had time to do detailed building reviews about everything, but I do these alone, there are many LEGO sets that I don't have time to cover, I won't start piling up a backlog for other brands as well.
@@RBsGadgetReviews I appreciate your honesty, Balázs, I really do. As I said, it still is a great review! I think it's just me who wants to go deeper I guess. Thank you again🙏
I really dislike how some CADA panel pieces are “broken” into two parts compared to LEGO’s and this in my opinion prevents the body from looking as clean as they can be. There are also some line indentations in some of the curve pieces which again adds to the busy-ness of the body. I replaced all these parts with LEGO ones in the La Ferrari set. Is the colour for the panels for this set matching LEGO’s LBG?

@@johnedwards6215 I saw a video on channel called "MrAmorti" which has a detailed 25 minute video on a few minor bug fixes for the CaDA AMG ONE set, regarding one of the driving gears, the motorized wing/doors, and also a tweak on the front suspension bottoming out. If you are a owner of a set you might want to check that video out.
Hello Balázs, are you consirering to make video about the 64005W build as well? It would be much appreciated, regarding I am thinking about buying it or not. Greetings from Hungary
Because CaDA still saved tons of R&D costs by leveraging the LEGO Technic part design ecosystem. It's like comparing the manufacturer's parts or accessories for your car with those from a third party.
love your videos and how in detail you go into them. mmmm looks great but why didnt lego pick this one up?would have been great to put with all the others they have done as i have all the 1/8 lego have done except for the porsche gt3 which is ridiculously priced . Do you know if lego have any plans to re release 42056 at all ?
I don't think anyone *must* admit anything in this regard. You might prefer the CaDA design, I see the challenges with both LEGO and CaDA, each has different strengths and weaknesses. There's no ultimate winner in this game, different target audiences have different preferences.
as far as I understand, the details of this model are not from Lego, but from the manufacturer of this set, correct? I have been interested in these models for a long time, but it is important for me that the parts are exactly Lego
Sorry but this review seems very biased by a Lego fanboy in my eyes. You seem to have a hard time to admit that this model is destroying every race car that Lego has ever designed and produced, giving you a far superior model for a lower price. You're saying it's not fair to compare prices, because just like with automobiles, you can buy original parts that will cost more and you can buy third-party parts that will be cheaper? What a ridiculous statement. Who decided that Lego is the "original" manufacturer and Cada is a third-party "replica"? This is just your personal belief, or what you as a Lego advocat want people to believe. Cada is, just like Lego, one of many bricks manufactures. You can point out differences in quality (if there are any), but there is no original and replice here. There is however, a winner and a loser, and the loser is very clearly Lego.
Sorry, but your comment seems very biased by a LEGO hater in my eyes who thinks there is only black and white in this world. I shared my personal opinion and listed all the pros and cons I find, and there were at least as many things I liked that I didn't. I'm sorry that you simply cannot process a scenario when someone doesn't have to love or hate something to form an opinion. I'm almost certain you haven't built this model yet, so I'm wondering why you're so sure that it is "destroying every race car that LEGO has ever designed". It's a decent build with an interesting and well-designed body, but from a Technic standpoint, it doesn't have much trickery to it, and the RC features don't really work in real-world conditions, although they're quite interesting in theory. Whether you like it or not (it doesn't really matter), the fact is that Technic elements were first designed by LEGO, period. CaDA started simply copying them with worse quality in the past, and I'm really glad they've improved a lot in both respects: Their parts are now of decent quality, and they also have their unique parts to avoid legal conflicts. They've still managed to keep R&D costs down by using about 70% LEGO part design, so they can offer their sets at a lower price. You don't have to take sides to accept these simple facts. I really hope CaDA continues with a much cleaner parts portfolio and this quality, and that they continue to improve the design and reliability of their models. In my eyes they're still not trying to compete with LEGO as their target audience is different, but I already talked about that in the video.
Wtf are you stating? Does every car seems equal to you? CaDa is simply ripping off Lego bricks and sold them as theirs. There's no innovations whatsoever, they introduced some bricks true, but 90% are from Lego creators. Have you ever heard of patent???
Actually, I very much prefer building with a “single color”;- cuz it looks much better at the end. Lego’s approach of using a ton of different colors just looks ugly in my opinion. Yes, it does make it easier to build in a way;- but on the other hand I don’t think it’s enjoyable to look at… But especially, if these ‘off colors’ are still visible even after the set is finished. (As is often the case with the blue pins for example). Like, I think it makes sense to use different colors in sets which are meant for children;- but in this case for example, when adults are the target-audience, -using less colors is much more appropriate in my opinion.
CaDA makes building block sets that are compatible with LEGO. Most of LEGO's parts are not protected by law, which means other companies can also produce similar elements. CaDA does not copy LEGO sets, they produce their own designs, sometimes with known fan designers from the community
I'm not sure why you think the tyres look "better" when they're not seated properly on the bead?? (as per comment on your last vid). eg the tyres on your green lambo are not seated in the bead. Each to their own i suppose but it definitely looks horrible to me and my other lego mates when people do this, its like you don't like your tyres on the rim properly. The rims shouldn't stand off the rubber just like real wheels, I'd assume I have flat tyres if i walk out to see the wall/bead of my car tyres sitting half inch (to scale) in from the lip on my rims haha. I can tell at a glance that in the vid with the two cars sitting together, the front right of the amg is seated properly and the rear right is seated on the outside but not on the inside of the rim so its pulling the rubber inward and the green lambo tyres are just not on the bead at all. Anyway, glad I finally got to voice this bug bear i see so often in the community lol
You could leave out the motors because they're not structural. For example you could build it with just the function motors and lights, then the remote could have a button each for doors, wing, headlights, and brake lights. If you blocked the main driver motor axle, I think you'd keep the pullback effect. Not that one pullback will move the car, of course!
Yea they have bot you arent one off them xD CADA sets are only for master builders and you dont like all black pincs and exles lol the sots wet them is great.
Better than anything Lego has ever produced. Did you run into any problems like these ? ua-cam.com/video/7SzY7wDIdAc/v-deo.html Dont want to buy it if it has issues that I have to "fix".
Thank God I didn’t watch this video before I bought the set. I hope CaDa will NEVER send you one of their sets for review because you’re very biased towards Lego. Also stick to 10+ speed champions bc Master Series “black belt” sets are not for you 👎🏽
Fun fact, the folks at CaDA were totally fine with my review, as they accept the fact that no products are perfect and they know pretty well their target audience, which isn't as broad as LEGO's. I'm sorry if you cannot cannot handle a balanced review, in this case I wouldn't suggest my LEGO videos either.
This is actually an example where the company did it best not to "steal" from LEGO. Any parts that are protected are avoided and made differently, and they also managed to acquire a license from Mercedes-AMG and also from Michelin, who I'm sure wouldn't let their names put on a "stolen" product.
I have some CaDA sets and these sets are sometimes better like Lego, because I have Creator Expert scale sets with Technic features(Initial D 1:12 cars), example suspension and clever design for easy RC mode. I bought Solar System from Master serie by JK Brickworks. I saw Classic Sports Car C61045W(Red Porsche) with motors for cca 60 euros(EU, Chine was cca 30 euros), this was killer price in this bundle(non-official e-shop).

Hi, I wanted to ask you if in your opinion it is possible to avoid fitting the engines. Since the model will remain exposed inside a piece of furniture I don't see the point. However, I would like to leave the one with the doors and the lights working. Do you think it's possible? Thanks for the info
post more of cada like the laferrari centenario and alfa romeo f1 car
Hello friend!!! I would like to make a request! Can you also review the Rastar MC20 Nettuno? It appears to be a good build, but unfortunately, all the reviews are in another language and you’re one of the few from Europe that provides excellent reviews in English!!! Thanks for all the great content on both of your channels!!! Keep up the amazing work!!!
Is it possible to build up a static version without electronics or do these components play a major role in terms of structural integrity?
You can likely build it without them and just put a technic piece instead on the motors to keep structural integrity.
You can build the motors with technic elements. Very easy. Then it's just static. Try the v12 hyper car static.. blue onem you will thank me.
@RBsGadgetReviews can this set be built without all motorization or are those components part of the structure in nature and required? Thanks
You can build it without the motors, you will have a few gaps though and the drive train will practically do nothing.
I’m looking to buy one of their sets. What’s the difference between one with a motor and one without. Is it referring to the electric motor?
Yes, some sets have motorized and non-motorized editions, not this one though.
Lego technic cars looks 10 times worse what are you blabbernig about 2 pieces... lego cars are like cheese lego has giant gaps on the body most lego technic models looks like a chinese fake for half the price with fuckton of empty paces on the body. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@maszkalman3676None of the technic supercars have anything you're talking about
@@muisverriet Yeah they are full of holes... the panesl aren't really there the 488 gtb is cheese the most expensive one the daytone looks okay but the panels are like roof shingles overlapped on each other not a fking 500 dollar looking set for sure.
Only just found out about this brand... would love to see you review the CaDA Alfa Romeo F1 car (either large or smaller scale) !
Could yo maybe do the konisegg cause I might get that one
How about quality of CaDA bricks? are they the same quality as real LEGO?
I mentioned it in the video, the quality of the parts improved a lot and I found no difference between these and the LEGO pieces
Nice review! I have trouble making the doors fit properly, they are always dropping down, are they suppose to be like that or any suggestions to make them fit/close properly?
Me as well. They seem to stand proud of the body a bit. Not sure if that is right or not. Have you discovered any fixes ?
@@johnedwards6215 I have figured it out. Once I attached the doors to the top part of the window, they are working fine now.
If you are a owner of a set you might want to check that video out.
please review the cada alfa romeo c42
can you review the cada alfa romeo c42 and compare it to the lego mclaren f1 car? thanks
He has on his main channle
@@-Evixity-no he doesn’t. I just looked and there isn’t one on his main. If you have a link for it then fine
I guess Mercedes saw that travesty of a Zetros and decided to jump ship.
Or maybe they don't make exclusive licensing deals and can actually do business with more companies the same time
Hello Balázs, are you consirering to make video about the 64005W build as well? It would be much appreciated, regarding I am thinking about buying it or not. Greetings from Hungary
Why is it not fair to compare prices?
Because CaDA still saved tons of R&D costs by leveraging the LEGO Technic part design ecosystem. It's like comparing the manufacturer's parts or accessories for your car with those from a third party.
love your videos and how in detail you go into them. mmmm looks great but why didnt lego pick this one up?would have been great to put with all the others they have done as i have all the 1/8 lego have done except for the porsche gt3 which is ridiculously priced . Do you know if lego have any plans to re release 42056 at all ?
I'm sure they won't re-release older Technic sets, there are so many other cars to choose from
Where can you buy it and do they ship internationally ie Australia
There's a link in the description, check the website for shipping details
are u from Hungary?
Szia Balázs! Magyar az anya nyelved? Es az angol a tanult?! Mert kivételesen értem az angol beszédet.😊
you must admit the superior of the CaDa design... i love Lego, but Cada is doing the best Technic car end Lego must improve his set
I don't think anyone *must* admit anything in this regard. You might prefer the CaDA design, I see the challenges with both LEGO and CaDA, each has different strengths and weaknesses. There's no ultimate winner in this game, different target audiences have different preferences.
Lego can only drool while looking at this
I think LEGO knows exactly why this wouldn’t work for them. Have you seen the video with sound on?
valamelyik tankot Cadából megmutathatnád valamikor
Sorry but lego needs to take note. This is a really well thought out kit.
as far as I understand, the details of this model are not from Lego, but from the manufacturer of this set, correct? I have been interested in these models for a long time, but it is important for me that the parts are exactly Lego
The parts are not made by LEGO, this is from a different company.
hating on black pins is wild 💀💀💀
Is this a company which uses actually lego ? Looks amazing. But seems some quality is lacking in places
No, they use parts produced by themselves
I think cada could probably be a great option instead of Lego cause it’s cheaper and there variety is great
Sorry but this review seems very biased by a Lego fanboy in my eyes.
Bro just go roasted
Stating that Lego is not the original brand, seems like a flat earth conspiracy
@@Itachi_Rules at what point is beeing original still relevant. like i hope you drive a marcedes benz because all the other cars are not original...
Wtf are you stating? Does every car seems equal to you? CaDa is simply ripping off Lego bricks and sold them as theirs. There's no innovations whatsoever, they introduced some bricks true, but 90% are from Lego creators. Have you ever heard of patent???
Honestly I don’t play with these models in the first place so I don’t mind the motors not being that good
Actually, I very much prefer building with a “single color”;- cuz it looks much better at the end.
I just heard about cada. Whats the difference between cada and lego ? And why both using the same pieces ?
The issue of cables is part of the experience in dealing with German engineering ...so that is 1:8 too 😂
U need to get la ferrari from cada. What designer did is the best 1:8 in the world
Motorisation looks like a gimmick. Can you build it without the motor?
You could leave out the motors because they're not structural. For example you could build it with just the function motors and lights, then the remote could have a button each for doors, wing, headlights, and brake lights.
If you blocked the main driver motor axle, I think you'd keep the pullback effect. Not that one pullback will move the car, of course!
Yea they have bot you arent one off them xD CADA sets are only for master builders and you dont like all black pincs and exles lol the sots wet them is great.
I wish the electronics were cheaper to get

Better than anything Lego has ever produced.
Did you run into any problems like these ? ua-cam.com/video/7SzY7wDIdAc/v-deo.html
Dont want to buy it if it has issues that I have to "fix".
First of all only that set got problem, others were fine and some others did run into problems when building this Cada :v
Full of garbage. I bought it and regretted don't judge the book by its cover.
Why would Mercedes ever partner with a Lego clone?
Slabe auto, slaby model
fake lego
It’s crazy how they steal everything from Lego and it’s just so bad
Wyd its a really good set, and if Lego did this it wuld be like 3 times more expensive
This is actually an example where the company did it best not to "steal" from LEGO. Any parts that are protected are avoided and made differently, and they also managed to acquire a license from Mercedes-AMG and also from Michelin, who I'm sure wouldn't let their names put on a "stolen" product.
@@RBsGadgetReviews+ CaDA actually cooperates with independent designers. Such simple thing makes me so much happier🤗
