I guess I'll never understand why a woman doesn't understand that a man wants a home thats peaceful, quiet, and filled with love & contentment.
in my humble opinion most women today in the west, aren't raised to be nurturing, peaceful or content. They are being fed these ridicules ideas about what men want from other women who can't keep a man themselves...
Answer - Women are self focused and their desire is for constant external validation and excitement (i.e. drama). For most women, what a man wants is never a consideration. Listen to shows like 'Whatever' where women winge about 'no men want them'. The guys sitting at the table always have a pile of suggestions, but the suggestions usually involve the woman changing her behavior to better suit a guy's interest. It all hits a brick wall, because they flat refuse to make any compromise.

Men get the excitement and selfworth from their job and women are supposed to forget their potential and their ambitions in order to cater to a man. That has worked a loooong time, but doesn't anymore... If men like it, or not... Better they evolve to fit the new realities, or men and women are going to drift further and further apart.

Very difficult to find age-appropriate women who don't outweigh me. Got married early, divorced mid-40s. 5-11, 190. They're hanging on to their baggage, they WILL screw younger, Desperate Danny's to boost their ego (even my ex did this after we divorced) and they expect me to jump through hoops for them. LOL.
I was engaged right out of high school to a young lady who had cystic Fibrosis. WE LIVED LIFE! Had no time BS and all this bs fell to the wayside. When you eliminate all the bs it can be great but the drama is a cancer!

I had one kid and after high child support ordered by Philadelphia Family Court, and all income taxes, union dues, etc. Forty seven percent was was the agreggate total withheld from my bi-weekly salary. I could only afford to live in East Kensington, near Fishtown. It ended in June, 2000. I got out of Philly in 1999. Never again. Plus no visitation due to the police officer mom. My kid does not even want to meet for coffee, lunch or dinner. I moved on a long time ago.

The type of woman you ultimately keep referring to as worth your time, do NOT consider hook-ups. Or consider men who live this way.
The other thing that RC doesn't mention, is that besides a woman wanting to contribute 50++% of the Decision making in the relationship on just about anything, but not taking 50% of the Financial Role, even though they make a much as or more than their counterpart, is that should that decision backfire, or blow up in one's face, the woman is NO WHERE to be found. Responsibility? Accountability? It is like KRYPTONITE to them.They will then proceed to BLAME, Gas Light, and play Victim.

That's what happened with me. She made about 2X what I did, and she expected me to go 50/50 on everything. That meant that I was always broke while she ordered Doordash for lunch every day and took monthly flights to see her family on the East Coast.
From her perspective, I wasn't pulling my fair share. From my perspective, I was subsidizing her luxury. It's hard to square that circle.
my ex wife was a career women which was cool to a point but after a while it became her greatest downside...not saying im perfect but I would of chose a healthy marriage over money. I signed an oath but she got bored and I wasn't exciting enough for her

My mom was super successful but never challenged my dad. He came home to peace, was given ultimate deference, had his food, everything ready and she enforced his will around the house. Actually it was better she enforced then if he did because dad was impatient. Dad was OCD too and needed everything excellent and mom made sure that’s the way it was.

What these women become are side chicks in training. They can’t keep a man they deem on their level, so instead they end up running through men for a while then either get bored or he drops her. The doctors, lawyers or business women who are married to their careers fit this perfectly.

My mother was a successful women and attracted my successful father and brought together a force unstoppable. Women need to realize that if they are successful it does not mean they can get excempt from being a mother, wife, and feminine figure. They need to do their responsibility plus the success they had achieve. What modern women lack is that they wanted all the good side of being a women, while achieving the success at the same time, and neglect the responsiblity they are suppose to bear. My dad chose my mother wasn't because other than her success, she can bring her feminine side to the table for the family, and be a wife.

The 'men like being challenged' theory has been said by Jordan Peterson who says the wife is some kinda beneficial adversary of sorts. As in maybe a good woman would help the man grow by 'challenging' him but in beneficial ways. Some men who need growing up may require that challenge from a woman but if you know who you are and your principles, the last thing i want is a woman who challenges me cause i look for my own challenges and home is not one of those places. Besides, a well spoken statement to open a man's mind is not the forte of most modern 'strong and independent' women.

The "realm of reason" means asking yourself in the big picture could I sleep with her (brown paper baggers). It's a term that defines having your options be too broad, too open to anything. Successful woman: a sound body and mind is more important than her net worth or prized papers! Beauty, heart and mind can’t be bought.
I am 44 years old, unmarried, no relationship and I don't care. I have done a cost-benefit analysis of having relationships with women, and the "cons" far outweight the "pros". There are only 2 "pros" in being in a relationship with a woman: regular sex and fatherhood.
Since I have no desire for kids, which is not that unusual for a liberal/progressive such as myself(people politically on the Left, on average, are less pro-family than people on the Right), the only benefit of being in a relationship with a woman would be regular sex. But even this is not a guarantee. If the woman doesn't find you physically attractive, she is going to have endless headaches as an excuse to not FK you.
The costs of being in a relationship with a woman are enormous: she can accuse you of sexually abusing her even if you didn't and the law will give her the benefit of the doubt, the law favors the woman in litigation in the case of divorce, people are more protective of women than men and in case the relationship doesn't work everyone will blame you, etc.
The only "supreme" benefit of being in a relationship with a woman, thus, is fatherhood. If having a child call you "daddy" is very important to you, then that is the only situation where you will need a traditional marriage and put up with the BS. Just remember that if you get divorced, you are paying *big* , not oly financially but legally.
So it all boils down to this: How important is fatherhood to you?
Lot of good points there. I'm no liberal and I've been down the cost-benefit analysis of life with a significant other. Truth is that I'm nearly 46 and I've done the whole living with women and having kids. Never been married and never wanted to be. Every relationship I've had has ended up with me getting bored and cheating. Every single one! Now I'm just happy to stay single, don't need a woman (I miss the sex, but the juice isn't worth the squeeze) and as you said regarding SA accusations it really isn't worth the risk.
The bonus of being single is that I don't spend money on shit I don't want or need. I cook and clean when I want. I furnish my home how I want. I live in a rural area and get to explore places when I want. I go out to the pub when I want. Holiday where and when I want. If i want to flirt with women then I can do it when I want. Basically i don't have a ball and chain attached any more.
Once I no longer have the deportation "club" to keep her flying straight and level, I want one over which I DO have that club. I dont have to accept less and I just refuse to do so.

I'm not upset! Once I threw my partner out of my house I felt like a huge burden was off my shoulders. The monthly child maintenance payments are a pain, but sooner that than the grief of living with a whinging witch.
Successful woman here…. My new husband is less successful financially but so successful in life…. Giving back to community. Good father to his kids….. there are different ways to measure success.

My son is 33 and made $250k last year and I can tell you this is exactly what he wants. He had his wild years but wants to settle down with a down to earth, thin, attractive woman who has dinner on the table at night, laundry done and is happy he’s home. He isn’t interested in education, Botox and fake nails. Basically a traditional home.

Rich, I love your channel and I learn from your perspective but I’m an example of a woman who is not that way. A man can definitely lead and be a needed source of strength even when he has less material success or wealth. I want to be passive at home. I want to follow his lead and I want to serve him. I believe the “challenge” that you speak of, is more likely the challenge of “the chase” during courtship. I think for some women, they attempt to leverage their power by maintaining this dynamic during marriage. Men who know their role as a maintainer and protector aren’t keen to this kind of role play in marriage.
It’s funny that women look at income as a thing that gives them higher status when their income comes from government jobs or government force that pushes companies to hire them. Their income is artificially high, so their perception of their “level” is artificially high.

My ex-wife would train me on cleaning skills and what her expectations were. Thank God for divorce. Plus she had an issue with keeping her leg closed to co workers.
My ex didn't have an issue with co workers (they're all female) but did think she was the boss in my house. My answer to that was to dump all her stuff outside my house before she came back from her part time job. Glad to be rid of her! Thank fuck I didn't get married (which is something she was desperate for).

I had a buddy who seem to be attracted older women, I asked him about it once.. basically he preferred older women, mainly for sex. No innocent virgin act.. less chase.. It didn't really matter to him if these women were successful or not. It was a sexual matter for him, less hang ups about when they had it.. to kinky stuff. Usually the women would do the monkey backflips to keep a younger man in there lives.
Consider who those TV Sitcoms were made for, who was the target audience in mind? It was housewives who'd be around in the afternoon to watch. Of course the narrative of those shows caters to them predominantly. Men would be out working, not home to watch TV in the afternoon.

As an older very wealthy male, I literally cannot imagine being faced with figuring how to meet or attract a suitable female, should that challenge ever arise. I do not find occasion to interact with women in my daily life. I am introspective, read a lot, solve problems, am creative, and spend much of my time staying attuned to financial markets and just creating more wealth. I would never use wealth to attract a female, and in fact none of them would ever know my financial status because I don't flaunt it. So I can no longer even imagine anything that might attract a female besides being age 26, which I am not. Isn't it weird? And please don't suggest classes or square dancing!

Entire perspective change. Women are an expensive accessory or purchase. Successful men manage people who do the work. Women are managed the same way. Given a budget and hurdles to jump. Never let women rest. Always create urgency situations for them to handle. Children and their needs keeps women busy for starters. They need more distractions as time goes on. Idle hands or minds in this case, needs to be eliminated as far as women are concerned. The mans job is to continuously create a urgent condition that only the woman can solve. Like looking after an expensive car if you cannot pay maintenance and insurance, don’t own one (women). Your financial house and your time must be in order before hand.
