I saw Lobster and it was great. What a quirky, dark and awkwardly funny film. And, oh jeez, how beautifly it is shot. The hunt on loners scene is probably the greatest slow mo action of 2015.

Possibly explains why they clicked personally. Now I'm thinking of a double-feature of Man Bites Dog and Alps, or Dogtooth

Polanski is a dirty word now, but his Scottish Tragedie is full of such brutal supernaturalism and inventive imagery as to make it one of the best films of the play.

Branded to Kill is one of Seijun Suzuki's bests! It's actually quite a few cult Hollywood directors. Jarmusch's Ghost Dog heavily pays tribute to it

12 Angry Men is an absolutely excellent classic, definitely in of my favorite films of all-time.
