OMG you are so right !!!! "Under the Silver Lake" is one of the very few films on the 2010's I ADORE !!! I remember just after the first minutes I was in the theater like : "OK, I can feel this is a film I'm gonna love, and I will never forget it " :) After another few scenes I was like : "Please, lord, may that film be perfect like that until its ending !" And at the end credits with "Strange Currencies" by REM I was like : "Thank you lord" LOL Anyway Andrew was simply amazing in that sooooo underrated film !! :) Greetings from France :)
Under the Silver Lake for me is a top 10 film of the 2010's and it's genuinely baffling to think about how that film was released, such a shame. If the Director's name was simply swapped to Stanley Kubrick instead of the lesser-known actual name David Robert Mitchell, it'd be considered a modern classic.
