I have a feeling these two are going to turn into an iconic pair that will continue to build an amazing body of work for years to come.
100%
The new Scorsese and Leo.
Both are going to make a remake from South Korean alien movie "Save the Green Planet"
@@jimmygillardyou mean Scorcesse and De Niro
They have another movie already filmed that will come out in the near future so you're right
fun seeing Yorgos in this type of setting, he's truly one of the best directors ever
He's truly not. He's good though.
@@Gobble-xh9br k lol didn’t ask, just my opinion
@@Gobble-xh9brNobody asked for your opinion
@@mrrekt2272 I did. I asked for his opinion.
Not even close to best directors sorry
Love these two. Yorgos deadpan personality contrasted with the bag of fun and energy that is Emma Stone is hilarious to witness.
Sometimes the most unlikely pairs happen. They both are so brilliant together
4:44 I think emma went through emotions here that can't even be described with words
She nearly did the YUM face from Easy A
🇬🇷🏆❤️🔗💙🇺🇲ΕΥΧΑΡΙΣΤΟΥΜΕ! ΣΥΓΧΑΡΗΤΗΡΙΑ! ΚΑΛΗ ΣΥΝΕΧΕΙΑ! ΚΑΛΗ ΔΥΝΑΜΗ
Two brilliant artists. He’s an underrated genius.
5 times oscar nominated Yorgos Lanthimos is underrated?
@@TUBOSCHIFOSO yet 0 wins and only 2 best director noms, didnt even win best foreign for dogtooth
He will never win for best script that's for sure.
@@carlf.9035 He’s the director and Tony McNamara is the screenwriter
@@t221000 Great but I'm sure he added some things in the film that see extra to the book
Fun fact, Yiorgos' father was a basketball coach at my school and that is why he played basketball.
3:44 “Sorry, thank you” 😊😂
these two are the new Leo and Scorsese and I love it!!
It's unbelievable how animated she is all the time
That's what makes her such a great actress.
He has very good attention to detail and memory and I feel like that's amazing he knows so much about the people he works with on a personal level.
Well taking upon script details is what makes someone a good director i guess, so that could translate to other things as well
YES MORE DIRECTOR AND WRITERS! I know those guys mostly do well without the attention but I’m soooo curious and actors can’t be the only ones to answer questions. Hopefully we’ll see them celebrated more equally
director definitely need more visibility. they make the freaking thing. actors always say “my new film” or “i did a film” when that film belongs to somebody else.
@@knsnsyit is also wrong to pretend the film belongs to the director. The film belongs to everyone (including the actors) and depending on what resonated more with you, you may connect more with one specific person within the whole thing.
My favorite director, he is brilliant!! I'm an aspiring filmmaker from Poland, and I dream of collaborating with Yorgos one day! One can dream!
She’s adorable
Yorgos mentioned a movie he watches, and the director is Jancsó Miklós, a hungarian film director. Nice to hear he inspires him.
these two feel so right together. I hope they keep making great movies
I see gentle kind funny directors bonding with their actors and producing wonderful critically lauded work. And I despise how for so long we lionised tyrants tormenting their cast and crew as if being an asshole is part of the creative process (hello Michael Bay, James Cameron, Alfred Hitchcock, and many more). I look forward to seeing what else these 2 awesome people make together.
I love their friendship
I like how he calls her by her real name like shed want other people to as well (in some interview she mentioned that, i could be wrong!) . Its very nice and sweet❤ absolutely love these two, and the movies they have together!
we need to see colin farrell in the next yorgos film with Emma stone, be pretty cool
I love how Greek his mannerisms are.
What do you mean?
@@alphabeta-es2py his facial expressions, body language and interjections are really Greek; I can’t explain it…If you meet any Greek person, you will understand what I mean :)
I think that's cause he's from Greece
Well. He is greek😂
But Emma stone has been nominated for a total of 4 academy awards. Birdman, lala land, the favourite and poor things. Probably this was filmed before she received her fourth Oscar nomination.
That's what I figured as well. And technically Poor Things gave her her 4th and 5th nominations, because she is also nominated as a producer for it!
Yeah, it was done before that.
5 now.
She was badass in Zombieland
It said on the screen this was filmed prior to the Oscar nominations.
I'm big fan of Yiorgos!! I want to hang out with both of them and watch a movie. They're truly talented and amazing.
i can't wait to watch this movie
Love you guys
They're so cute
THE artists of a generation❤❤
These two are great artists and Emma is just so cute.
love them so much ❤
Her facial expressions are too funny 😭
I assume that this was filmed before this year's Oscar nominations, because otherwise, they both would've been wrong about the amount of Emma's Oscar nominations, as she currently has five (Birdman, La La Land, The Favourite, Poor Things for acting and producing).
Emma is so radiant. uff
EMMA STONE SAG WINNER AND OSCAR WINNER
After watching Dogtooth, I definitely thought "oh he should totally work with the girl from Easy A. That makes so much sense."
obviously kidding but what an iconic pair!
Emma Stone more like Emma Stunning
Poor things is a great movie! Emma Stone is umbelivable!!🤩
I love them SO much ❤❤❤🥹
I need Yorgos on my time at Games’ Night. He plays to win😈
Im so curious about her ankle tattoo idk whyy
What the hell is up with the overdubbed interviewer? I feel like I'm watching an infomercial.
That's the sound of Hollywood.
he is so cute
When she smiles, with those curls around the edges of her mouth, Emma looks like Jodie Foster
I've been said so nice Zombieland that Emma looks like a young Jodie Foster.
Ingmar Bergman and Liv Ullman of our generation
Easy there.
No
yorgos was a hooper?!?!
His dad was a famous greek basketball player and even played for the national team. Yorgos played during high school but got injured and quit. He brought Emma with him to a game here in Greece about a year ago ua-cam.com/video/LlixKm3bGA8/v-deo.html&ab_channel=BasketNews
His father was a professional player
@@eskarinablack4830 WHATTTTTT
She’s the perfect woman
I love Emma's hand writing
Ah yes, I’ll take that, thank you very much 😌 I will be watching this video for my daily dose of serotonin 😁
1:53 so funny when she spits on the board 😂
ALEXA! Give Emma Stone a quiz!!!! 🤖
Ok, why does the interviewer sound like Siri?
I can see why her and Jennifer Lawrence are friends. They’ve got the same goofy, tomboy energy.
But Emma never "furiously jumped" Harvey.
campaign for emma stone sag winner
Flack-trate = Fluctuate. No worries Yorgos, for half a century I pronounced Epitome as Eppy-tomb.
Useless comment
wasn't Emma nominated for 5 Oscars? is this old? (Birdman, La La Land, Poor Things, Poor Things (producer), The Favourite)
I think they count from before poor things. Than it's three birdman, lala land and the favourite.
Man, Siri is sounding more and more human! Almost passes as a real human interviewer.
My favourite duo
Branded to Kill, and Red and the White both 1967 . just put on my google watch list!
Jim Carrey's message to Emma St0ne was in 2011
Emma St0ne was in 1988
Jim Carrey's Daughter was born in 1987
❤
But wait, they got it wrong, she was nominated 4 times, Birdman, La la land, The Favourite and Poor Thibgs 😅
Visually brilliant film but ultimately silly.
watching this as a greek person hits different
KINDS OF KINDNESS | Emma Stone dancing for 3 minutes. The trailer!

Did Yorgos call her Emily at the beginning?
That's her real name, Emma is just for acting.

Having them write it down, erase, and we have to try & read it quickly just isn’t working. Would be easier to just ask each other & have the other answer & chat about it
weird questions lol
I know I'm not the only one scratching my head over the complete disconnect between Yorgos choices and framing of the dominating sex scenes of the film and the storyline of a child/woman TRYING TO FREE HERSELF, Yorgos, from patriarchy and the sexual exploitation of men. Its like the entire movie, phony feminist plot and all, was just an expensive ploy to get Emma to play out Yorgos sexual fantasies of her, for his own personal pleasure. And we have to cringe and side eye through these personal and private sessions. Like he has no self awareness that his not-so-professional fixations have leaked out into the public arena. Watching these scenes made me think of how Alfred Hitchcock was sexually obsessed with his "starlets". He would fixate on them, control them and put them in demeaning, humiliating, and even dangerous scenes for his own sadistic pleasure and then he'd sit alone and watch his favorite reels over and over. Does anyone doubt that Yorgos sits and watches his favorite scenes of Emma, over and over.
It’s his movie. Emma is a producer. Both are good friend. They collaborate with free will.
@Flowermoonkiller I believe Emma was honest. Her actions met her claimed intentions. He was not honest. His actions did not meet his claimed intentions. You see serious passive aggression towards women. It's a blatant con and clearly old school sexual exploitation, falsely presented to all parties as progressive. Where's the equality? He could have at least thrown in some hot young Magic Mike guy moments for the women to enjoy, since he went down that road. But that would bruise the aging narcissist director's ego and fantasy. Aging narcs are like the Mormon elders in their communities that expel the hot young men from their world to try to control young women. The female audience wasn't even considered. Aging man's sexual fantasies.
@@marz9676 this movie about a perspective of a woman. Why would he need to throw in some magic mike ? There is no exploitation. A lot of woman enjoy it. Telling me throwing in those scene for ‘woman’ to enjoy is hilarious. I know more woman praise this movies as much as men.
@YorgosLanthimos1 First, Its not the perspective of a woman. It's a woman from the very limited perspective of men. If it ACTUALLY was the perspective of a young uninhibited sexually voracious woman, then THERE WOULD BE PLENTY OF HOT MEN! That is the reality of the perspective of a young woman and her sexual desires
@@YorgosL1 There is so much criticism of the movie for its misogyny and exploitation that the actors and directors pr have released statements addressing it. Look up criticism of the movie.
for the number of nominations Emma has received, isn't it more like 4 given that she is also nominated as a producer for Poor Things?👆🤓
it should be 5. Acting for Birdman, Poor Things, La La Land, The Favourite and one as a producer for Poor Things. In general, she was nominated 5 times. I guess they filmed it before Oscar nominatons were announced this year
@@user-jt8dk7ki4g Oh yes, I was confused about this. But that makes sense.
when the interviewer asked about bring a character back to life, how did she not answer Gwen Stacy??
U can tell they were not enjoying it
3? Emma has 5 nominations. She been nominated two times for lead actress and won for La La Land, nominated for supporting actress twice, and is nominated as a producer for Poor Things
This was before the nominations for this year
둘이 바람 피는거 아니지?
It could be possible
They are both married to other people..but they seem close.
@@loveintheend89 I'm just convinced everyone in Hollywood are swingers. I doubt Emma Stone really likes who she married, I don't even see a ring on her finger half the time
@@loveintheend89 I don't think Emma really likes who she married I barely see a ring on her finger half the time. Also they work together so much I won't be shocked if it becomes something more 🤷🏻♀️
Oh Variety, this is boring
Yorgo are you still married to your wife? What's going on with you and Emma?
She has a husband as well mate.. they’re both married to their respective partners, google is free 😘
Go outside
You can’t see the responses they write down. This segment is horribly produced
He seems a bit rude 😊. She is lovely on the other hand 😊
Yikes I thought this movie was sick. Depicted sex in front of 2 young boys!!! Sick 🤢
