Prayer sent. I know that difficulty. We sold our former house after several months while making payments on the new one. People kept backing out of contracts and I thought it would never sell. I was terrified and it was hard not to get into a deep funk but I just kept asking the Lord to take care of us and He did. I know He’ll take care of you too.

Great video! I’ve also enjoyed the Reformation Heritage notes and content in the back. Was also a little disappointed that the 1689 wasn’t in there but I think it’s in the Ligonier one and I have it in other volumes as well. I started off NIV84, have been an ESV girl for about 10-12 years. I recently began reading through the NKJV for the first time and am really enjoying it. I do need to read through the KJV sometime. That looks like a really nice edition! Would love to see the church history section.
A absolutely wonderful study bible. I didn’t become a kjv fanboy until I started memorizing whole NT epistles, but the literary quality is such that it makes it very memorable compared to modern translations. When reading the Old Testament with the kjv I use that rhb study bible with a modern translation like the nkjv or csb to make sure I don’t misinterpret things.
Prayed for you. Romans 8:18 got me through some of the toughest times in my life. I hope it helps you too in seeing the light in the dark. Your plan looks awesome! I’m looking forward to doing the same at the start of the year (I’m a fairly new found Christian).

I picked up Spurgeon's Morning and Evening at a Friend's of the Library Bookstore. Everyone, don't sleep in your library stores!! I've found thousands of dollars worth of resources for less than pennies. Bibles are free at my library Bookstore.
I prefer paragraph for devotions because of the continuous flow. I use vbv for preaching and teaching because it’s easier to find my place. Both have advantages.
I love when a brother or sister asks for prayer. And my birthday is next month, so I’ll be expecting a pink cake with green letters. Although I’m not 11 or a wizard.

Beautiful Bible, only blue Bible I’ve owned. But I just don’t like the way it reads. Just seems overly chunky. I was expecting NASB feelings and at least for me it isn’t there.

Not dumb at all! Devotional resources are books with short, daily readings typically centered around one particular passage of scripture or just simply prayers, which is what the valley of vision is.

Sorry I just feel like I want to improve on my way of studying the bible I'm about to finish the gospels but that's all I've read so far and I swear I feel like the only one I remember is John, I feel I'm doing something wrong lol Oh and btw I did pray for you and your family ❤️
@@tamararodriguez7440 I just use it for additional reading. Note taking is a very individual thing. I like to write in the margins of my books and bibles when something stands out. Just something I like to do, but it’s not for everyone.

I did the Navigator’s Book at a Time Bible in a year plan in 2023 and am going to do it again in 2025. Great plan, the only one I used successfully.

The NKJV is my second favorite translation, right after the ESV. I’m glad you are enjoying it.
