- Well, it's been a long time coming but the IS300 Sportcross is finally back at the shop and we can finally start throwing all the goodies on there. The first thing we had to do right away was to put the Advan wheels back on and fully overhaul the worn-out suspension components. I was pretty excited to see the Exceed big brake go on the car finally as well but was slightly nervous about brake caliper to wheel clearance. Once that was all dialed-in, I started tinkering with other ideas and also swapped-out my interior for rare Modellista Qualitat stuff. Check it out, I can't believe the car is actually back!!

If you have an extra intake box, a lot of stock boxes have baffles and little passage ways in the box, if you are good with a dremel, you can take out the baffles and everything, and get them to flow much better. It’s an common mod for the acura dc5 chassis.
Mod the box, with a higher flowing drop in filter, with your air duct, it’ll be a noticeable improvement

Love the IS man! Especially the small bits and pieces like the billion duct. Makes me wanna work on my Lancer wagon even more.
Well, the Lancer wagon is underappreciated. Too bad we never got EVO version.

Finally the IS content I was binging to catch up. I was like, HEY I have an IS and i'm watching, then i was like, ahhhh RESPECT. haha. Exceed brakes for IS when? I'd rock a set.
The brakes are all made to order so you can actually get whatever finish you want.
Loving the sportscross content, definitely a car thats on my bucket list

Just creating that custom bracket for the billon, refresh suspension, OEM refresh trim just takes the build into a whole different level. Its so nice to have friends that can easily mill out material for you. I find it expensive elsewhere due to setup fees etc. Can't wait to see the finish IS Sportcross Joey! Love this build and the content is on pointe. Did you consider at any point, painting the "Exceed" Calipers to match the Billion Blue air duct?
Nah I purposely had the brakes done in a neutral color so that it doesn’t stand out too much and take away from the red accents on the car.

Great vid! Just curious how did you get the rear door panels to work on the sportcross aren’t they different from the is300, or did you just swap the fabric inset? I’m trying to install some on mine I was gonna pick up a set from Russia but dude said the rear modelistas aren’t compatible with the sportcross. T.I.A

you could always find a LED ring light for cars that brighter then the fog and adapt it to the air duct
Don’t really need to utilize the fog lights anyway since I never used them even before paint so I’ll just leave it.

I see your Craft Square mirrors are cracked at the ring tensioner thingy. I have the same problem with my pair, due to me adjusting mirror position beyond what it was ca[able of. How do you stop the mirrors from vibrating out of position?
Oh mine don’t move at all so it’s not loose in anyway haha. I just never touched them after they were cleared.
