I got the new iPhone 13 pro last week, and I wanted to put it to test in a legit cinematic environment to test its new feature the cinematic mode. In order to really make it special I decided to drive to one of my favourite cites of all time Paris.
And I was honoured to have one the most talented dancer I knew who lives in Paris, be featured in the Video. She was the cherry on top of it all.
This video was shot completely on the Cinematic mode of the iPhone 13 Pro which is available only in HD mode. Except the Timelapse which was all taken by the iPhone 13 pro in RAW format manually by (Roughly every 4 seconds). The processing was developed in Lightroom, LR Timelapse and After effects .
For the moving shots the phone was mounted on the DJI OSMO 5.
There is a slight grade applied ONLY to the colors to complement them together.

Beautiful video. Makes me want to go to France right now. Amazing how you captured this with a phone. The one thing apple still has to fix is the light artifacts from lights. Fantastic video that diminishes any technical shortcomings of iPhone 13 .By the way,as fas as I know Cinematic Mode on any iPhone model is capped at 1080.I guess you upscaled yours t 4k

Sean, you should recut this while dialling down the virtual aperture to about f5.6. Extreme apertures in Cinematic Mode look artificial, like a bad video game cinematic effect. Which is what happened to your lovely short. Great concept though, beautiful voice over.

Cinematic mode only supports 1080p 30 fps. You have upscaled the video to 4k30? either way it looks amazing..
