Hi Frank. It's been many years since I worked with you, but it's no surprise to see that you're still putting out quality, useful material for your customers. Keep up the good work!

Why aren’t you assigning the Task to the owner when the Outlook window opens and you’re adding the due date? That way it also goes to them - and you can track it and get notification when it’s done.

I liked the discussion around the Action items at the end, but it seemed like all the action items ended up as tasks in your outlook. How do you get OneNote to send task 2 to Linda's calendar and task 3 to Cynthia's calendar. They are the ones doing those tasks and will be marking when they are complete. Also, is there a way to move any action items automatically to the next scheduled meeting as a review to make sure they were completed?

Can you advise on the best way to incorporate tasks on your outlook in the new version? it does not allow you to use the Daily Task List anymore.... which is really unfortunate!

Question, when you set the task does it go to the owners outlook tasks or them meeting organizers? It looked like it only went to you to mark complete for the ones that identified other owners.

Great question. It goes to whoever makes the task. So in the meeting each person could take ownership of their own task and you would see the flag indicating that each action item is accounted for. Alternatively, if say work was going to be assigned to people not at the meeting, then one person could take responsibility for those tasks, or all tasks by making them and Outlook task and then using the Outlook tools to assign the tasks to others, including those at the meeting. This would give the advantage of having all the tasks in your Outlook and then watching them get completed from there and also instantly knowing if a task is overdue.

You can assign the task when the Outlook window opens. I think the creator would still see it but it’d also be sent to the named owner to accept.

Why is my OneNote missing that entire header?!

There's two almost identical versions of OneNote. OneNote and "OneNote for Windows 10". You're prob using the W10 version which is a bit simpler. You can both versions without causing problems.
