Nsx-r is definitely one of my favorite cars ever 😍 Great video dude, would love to see a video about the 05 nsx-r if you could, and or if you could do the integra type R comparisons . Much love from South Africa 🇿🇦
We will definitely be re-visiting some of the icons from Honda! Including some of the lesser known ones. Make sure you're subscribed so you don't miss out
Very high quality presentation guys! Subscribed. Would love to see you review the other 90s Japanese classics. They are on the rise big time. Great channel.
Nice review Alex👍 I'm lucky enough to own an NSX Type S on the correct factory fit suspension (Showa dampers) and can confirm it's a lovely fast road car. It's more compliant than the original NA1 NSX (1992-1995) R but a lot firmer (60+%) than a regular NSX 😎
VERY, VERY few NSX R's or NSX Type S were spec'd in the most basic spec. In the same way that almost no Porsche GT3's or M3 CSL's, except for a few press cars, actually came without a/c and stereos almost all NSX R/Type S, including the NSX R in your test, were ordered/ delivered with them fitted so the weight saving is less than the headlines 🤓 Doesn't stop them being absolutely amazing cars of course 😎
Indeed this is true! It's harder to find these 'stripped out' cars from factory actually 'stripped out'! You will see this soon in our upcoming M3 CSL video too 😉
@@shootingbrake People like the idea of a stripped out "track day car" but when it's a brand new, expensive, prestigious purchase they almost never actually do it. IMHO the concept of a factory built "track focused" road car is a fundamentally flawed one. They're still too big, heavy, compromised and expensive to run (tyres, brakes etc) for serious track use but the market must be there for Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren, BMW etc to keep making them. Much better to spec your expensive, prestigious road legal sports car with a degree of comfort and practicality in mind AND build yourself a dedicated track hack with everything that doesn't help lap time removed and thrown in the bin 😎
Haven’t taken mine out since buying a Tesla y performance 3 months ago but I will this weekend…….The nsx is more fun the Tesla is more like driving in an alternate reality ….
Only 180+ subscribers??????? That's the true crime here. Superb video dude. You should do a Mugen RR civic if possible
Beautifully shot video! Crazy you drove a NSX-R and type S back to back, that’s the stuff of dreams :)
Thank you! And yes, not something you see everyday :)
Pure driving

A factory Type S is arguably the perfect road car for sure!
