- We are in the wilds of Newfoundland, no food gun or shelter. Armed with only a slingshot I will try and survive purely off the land. My two friends Tom Garstang and Adam RIley have recurve bows and snare wire. Due to local regulations,inland fishing is out of season so we must rely on small game from the woods along with any berries or plants we can find in order to survive. Our shelter is put to the ultimate rain test as the tail end of hurricane Fiona passes over the island.

Love the channel! Keep the content flowing! With respect to the shelter, were you not stressed about putting the fire beneath the tarp and how did you manage the smoke ??
The fire under tarp is always a delicate dance. Trick is to have the tarp well above the fire and most importantly keeping the fire small and controlled. With the open back and breezy sides the smoke drafted out beautifully. This is one of those things that you must be very very careful with. Melted tarp on skin is not fun

Man, why do you decided not to show when you pain your head in another video? ( build a cabin), I believe that I can learn about that, and make precautions. I like you so much your videos. but I think it seems more survivor in The Yukon territories. why do U leave this land? in labrador look like a vacation trip because the Yukon looks pretty wild. I am glad that you be well. I was worried and a little sad. I see you whit a friend after that.
