The fact that the mother fox is letting her get so close to her and her kits like that shows just how much she trusts her.

@@MatsonsOutdoors yeah! I love foxes. I'm English and we aren't allowed to keep foxes but I feed the locals and help with their kits if they need it. My fiance lives in a city so our bubbs are urban. I live in a semi rural area and my neighbours reported me for feeding foxes and hedgehogs. Still help out the Urbans but, at my house I just help and feed the stray cats that the fox moaners have abandoned! Smh 💖🇬🇧
@@MatsonsOutdoors cute but very noisy, they sound like snuffling pigs. Don't you have hedgehogs in Florida? Every garden In England use to have one but pesticides have seen their rapid decline. Very rare to see one now 😔
Shes is gorgeous but just out of curiosity why do you keep wild animals as pets? I don't understand the appeal in capturing such a beautiful wild creature... Genuine question, I'm not having a go.
I understand your concern but we basically rescued her from an auction. She could have easily went to a fur farm. Also, captive foxes live 2 or 3 times longer than they would in the wild. I'm licensed to care for her and other exotics we own.
If I just could live in the right envirnment I would be interested in taking in a fox or 2

Foxes are my favourite animal but I love red foxes the most. I'd love to have one as a pet but down here in Australia keeping foxes as pets is illegal because they are classed as pests and are a threat to native wildlife. Also to make it worse I can't expand my collection of fox themed items because I have limited space :( I will love red foxes until my dying day and longer if I can manage it :^D

They are cute but do require alot of work for the first couple of years. But well worth it.
So cure. If you made a car for them out of pinewood it would be a REAL kit car.

We had her since she was 6 weeks old. So we spent alot of time with her. It was hard at the start till she understood us and we understood her. We all learned together and bonded.

Yes their stomachs get big and they also lose their fur around their nipples.

They are grown up now but so fun to have around!
@@MatsonsOutdoors We have foxes that come in our yard and eat the scraps and the cat food that we put out. Sometimes we have gray foxes and sometimes we have the reds. I just feel so blessed that we get to see them on a consistent basis. I wish so bad that I could touch one or just hold it in my arms love on it. The way that you talk and touch the vixen is so amazingly warm and loving. Thank you for showing us how awesome foxes really are. I don't know how anybody could not like a fox. Your videos are very informative and educational. Thank you for posting...
@@mrsb8629 thank you, we appreciate it. Foxes are wild animals so they will always have that wild instinct. We've had her since she was 6 weeks old so shes grown to love and trust us.

Why are wild animals at an auction?
Yes there are exotic animals auctions but you need permits for most, depending on your state

1: Is it much harder to take care of kits or does the mother take care of them
2: Did you give away some?
3: What do you do when there grown up?
4: Also did you have another fox that mated with it or was it pregnant when you bought her?
5: what is it like taking care of a fox and its kits
Would be very happy if you answer the questions, I’m wanting to have a pet mother fox and kits when I grow up so I would like to know from you who has them

Anyways, there's this fox sanctuary named Miyagi Zao fox Village, but the foxes there are abused and forced to look "cute" and the foxes there fight each other there, since they are too close to each other, it's basically like a concentration camp for foxes. And there's this one guy, who is ignoring straight facts and saying the foxes are fine, and they call people c!nts if people think otherwise.
@@MatsonsOutdoors I meant like someone to ruin the mood, such as someone who Says: "F#ck foxes, I hope a hunter finds her and shoots her." Or something else really awful.

Why wouldn't you get her fixed?
I am looking to get her fixed at my vet office I go to. I'm just waiting for an availability at the office to get it scheduled. They are busy do to the pandemic. But once I get that call, we will have her in there.😊

Aww, I love the name baby. How long did you have her for? We have 2 cats, our first cat we adopted from a shelter. She was already 2yrs old at the time. We have had her for the past 10 years. Then we adopted another cat from a different shelter for our son. He was about 1years old, and we have had him for the last 3 years.

That's still a very long time. And I'm sure for time she was with you, she was loved every day and spoiled always.
