loved the list!! ive have 2 of those JP8's and theyre wicked sick....i had to tint my bass knob tho because it lit up my whole car, theyve just have power for days if u can feed em the voltage...but you can adjust the voltage on the back of the bass knob with da baby screwdriver they give u and they can handle low ohm load too.... just really nice amps. and for only 2 bills you cant beat it. keep up he great videos bud!!!

Good list hifi, I think the audiopipe APCLE1800 is a solid $200ish amp, I ran one In my van but it's now moved down the line to my car, but it has worked flawless and super reliable, never a hickup it heavy, Tiffany RCA's ,subsonic, metal bass knob, strappable and dynoed at 2k uncertified (on budget bust I think)and doesn't overheat like the even more lower level APME2000. A year ago I paid $224 back when I bought so it's not $200 list worthy. I replaced it with the new cab45...now that's a beast. Every time I up size an amp it always sounds soooo much better than the smaller amp even at low volumes just way more dynamic and fuller. In my car I replaced its 1200w pioneer gm9701 with the 1800 on a 1000w 10" sub and definitely much better. And the 1800 got replaced with that cab45 again soooo much better. And will be replacing a 370w toro r2 with that pioneer I expecting significant improvements again. I'm now a true believer in Headroom... headroom headroom headroom!!! Always allow for headroom people!!!
The JP8 would be my pick. JPrice and Down 4 Sounds is a good business . All company presidents need to strive to have a business model like his. Also Steve Irby at Kicker has a good model too

I have the jp23 on 2 Rockford Fosgate power t1 12s and a jp234 on my doors and rear. They are alpine type r components and polks in the back. Both sets of components are 300 watts and they are getting more than that each. The down4sound amps are a great value no matter what one you choose 👌

I recently decided to stop fuckin around and build my system the right way this time. I want a clean SQL build. No corners cut. All new highs, mids, sound deadening, amps, woofers, DSP, wiring, big 3 upgrade and a custom box built by me. I’ve learned what sound I like best so I’m gonna go with three 10’s and feed them each 1,000 watts. Sealed box too. I’ve tried ported and it’s loud and all but I just ain’t feeling the clarity. I also wanna run my subs at 4ohms cuz I’ve heard that the bass response is more linear at higher ohms.
Can 2 jp8s be run off a single 0 gauge cable? Personally im thinking of replacing my skar 2000 because its not pushing the rockville 12 in punisher subs nearly enough.
Should be able to use a run of 0g and use a distribution block to branch off to the 2amps. Would definitely recommend making sure your alternator is going to be able to handle it though. The jp8 is a absolute beast of a amp and is definitely power hungry
Right now I'm looking for something that does 1500 watts rms at 2 ohms for my skar ddx, of course I'll be doing 750-1000 rms but would still like the extra power if I wanna use it. If ya got any suggestions please inform me of a couple. Budget is around 200-250.
If you haven’t already seen the skar rp 2000d is on sale for 200 right now runs 2 ohms at 1400 after a lot of research I’m pretty certain that’s what I’m going with
@@djnaughtybass completely understandable the only other thing I thought of was a hd 3000 taramps and just tune the gain to the rms you need it only cost about 220 or something like that, I haven’t looked at the size though but I know those are a bit more compact, wish you luck though man

So ima get the Jenson 1 channel it should 4-500 at 2 ohms so that'll be plenty since it's going in the daily.

I'd take any of the amps, except rockville Had a cheap capacitor in a rockville amp blow on me, while it was at low volume. Was under warrenty, but audiosavings refused to fix it. Then they sent the wrong backup camera, and took going through Amazon to get them to take it back That plus their bad damage control recently, wouldn't touch rockville.
I think a lot of it is user error. Like grounding out wires on the case. I just picked up a Smart 5k for $480. Tested great on the dyno, so we'll see how it does pushing 2 XV3 12s. Also Ive heard they have great customer service.
It's always good to have a fire extinguisher if you have a system. But with that Bully Slayer if your gonna run it at its max I would most definitely have one. I would never buy one. Plus reliability issues from reviews is a huge no way. And my experience with the Rockvilles before I had enough to buy what I wanted found they are dirty power. Never buying a Rockville ever again.

Allot of these "high power" amps cheap out on capacitors so they don't get the deep bass...I listen to rave and electronica music all bass below 30hz....I heard nothing when I used a skar... Those things from Brazil also... But for db drag at 75 hz they got lots of power....
If you listen to music and not constantly over 140db they sound really good. My son has 2 10k6 in an extended cab pickup and they sound great with 800w. My other son has 2 12k6 and they sound great as well. Both are in ported enclosures tuned to 39hz (10's) and 36hz (12's). overall no complaints for under $150 a pair. They are hard to beat and have plenty of output for daily use (140db ish)... Truth be told that if you need more than 140db your should be spending 1000's and not $300 for subs and amp combo.

Everyone always looking at just power.. several soundstream lineups will give you good power with cleaner power then many of these.. better dampening better snl ratings.. equal levels of power and in the price range specified.. They are budget JL /punch series amps more or less.. company get zero love in the community for some reason..
I don’t think the soundstream amps are any cleaner than these and they’re almost always overrated imo this is why they are overlooked, but they can be a good value for money if you disregard the ratings
Rockville, Skar and Slayer are all junk, you are throwing your money away with these cheap amps, quality is as low as can be, can’t go wrong with audiocontrol, Rockford Fosgate or Kicker, have had them and have had no issues.
Most folks aren’t willing to pay $200 for a 500 watt or less amp so these amps/brands will always have a market for the people who want mo powah at a bargain price.

Allot of these "high power" amps cheap out on capacitors so they don't get the deep bass...I listen to rave and electronica music all bass below 30hz....I heard nothing when I used a skar... Those things from Brazil also... But for db drag at 75 hz they got lots of power....
Good choices. Rockville actually makes some good amps. I'm not to sure about their speakers though.
I like the K9 and K6 subs, but I honestly haven’t tried any of their component sets.
If you listen to music and not constantly over 140db they sound really good. My son has 2 10k6 in an extended cab pickup and they sound great with 800w. My other son has 2 12k6 and they sound great as well. Both are in ported enclosures tuned to 39hz (10's) and 36hz (12's). overall no complaints for under $150 a pair. They are hard to beat and have plenty of output for daily use (140db ish)... Truth be told that if you need more than 140db your should be spending 1000's and not $300 for subs and amp combo.
Top strong gear for 149 is hard to pass up. And they giving $10 off pretty often on it.

Everyone always looking at just power.. several soundstream lineups will give you good power with cleaner power then many of these.. better dampening better snl ratings.. equal levels of power and in the price range specified.. They are budget JL /punch series amps more or less.. company get zero love in the community for some reason..
I don’t think the soundstream amps are any cleaner than these and they’re almost always overrated imo this is why they are overlooked, but they can be a good value for money if you disregard the ratings
I bought that Rockville amp once it came on but put out no sound. And it’s very large footprint for what your getting. It’s a pass for me.

Rockville, Skar and Slayer are all junk, you are throwing your money away with these cheap amps, quality is as low as can be, can’t go wrong with audiocontrol, Rockford Fosgate or Kicker, have had them and have had no issues.
Most folks aren’t willing to pay $200 for a 500 watt or less amp so these amps/brands will always have a market for the people who want mo powah at a bargain price.
