I've mentioned how much I like this series before, but something subtle that I just noticed that I really like, the fact that the question in the title is always the first one in the video.
It would be easy to pick the most clickbaity question and save it for the end of the video to make people watch to the end to see it, but you get it out of the way first. I don't know if it's a conscious decision but it's really cool imo.

Seriously though! That's a really good point. Way too many videos on UA-cam where they don't address the title untill way to far into the video. I just exit those videos when I realize that. Fantano respecting his audience enough to give them what the title promises right away, at least for me makes me much more willing/actually wanting to watch the rest of the video.

Here's the thing: the death of an artist is not any incentive to say that their music is good, but it is absolutely an incentive to start listening to them. The death of David Bowie planted the seed of my now flourishing classic rock obsession, and bought the world of music to my attention.

U see how he avoid mentioning xxxtentacion when we all know that's who he is implying. This is because he knows he tries to criticized x music in a bad way it will be bad for him. With that said this guy is one of the people who slept hard on x he gave both of his albums a bad rating criticizing it for being too short but gave Kanye and push t new album like a 8 and their albums was the same length as 17. Xxxtentacion PIONEER the short albums but yea so it's like cool when Kanye pusha does it but not cool when x the originator of it does it ?? Also what makes this guy extremely not credible is the fact he gave mbdtf a 6? And lil pump a 7 in his mind
lil pump >kanye mbdtf tffffffffffff how can anyone take this guy serious after that its easy to see he's close minded pretentious condescending hipster that's why he didn't like x music he can't regonize talent if it hit him in the face this guy is just one those hipsters who think he's taste in music in so high just cause he listens to death grips
MOTHER FUCKER MENTION X ALREADY AND STOP AVOIDING THE TOPIC FUCKBOI IK U TALK ABOUT RANDOM THINGS ON THIS CHANNEL SO HOW U ARE NOT GONNA TALK ABOUT X DYING WHICH IS THE BIGGEST TOPIC OUT STOP BEING PUSSY U TALKED DOWN WHEN HE WAS ALIVE NOW THAT HE'S DEAD UR PROBABLY REALIZING U TALK CRAP ABOUT THIS ERA KURT COBAIN I BET IF THIS WAS THE 90S UR PROBABLY TALK SHIT ABOUT KURT CAUSE X MUSIC WAS A LOT ALIKE TO KURT THEIR MUSIC IS EMO SUICIDAL WANTING TO DIE MUSIC BUT SINCE KURT DIE B4 U HAVING A CHANCE TO GIVE A BAD REVIEW U LIKE HIM NOW CAUSE IT'S THE CREDIBLE THING TO DO I BET IF X MUSIC CAME OUT THEN IN THE 90 AND HE DIE U WOULD BE PRAISING X LIKE U DO KURT COBAIN

I never automatically become a fan of an artist just because they die. For example, I've never listened to an Amy Winehouse song outside of her popular hits that get played everywhere. But sometimes when an artist dies, you feel like reevaluating them again, and something clicks like it didn't before, and unfortunately, you are only now understanding this after the artist died. This is what happened to me with Prince.

Chester Bennington's death recontextualized Linkin Park's last release. Before his death everyone just saw it as a shitty pop record (yourself included). But with his death it's clear the album was clearly intimately tied into his suicidal mentality. I highly doubt anyone who listens to One More Light now gets the same experience as they did before Chester passed.

He was tho, both musically and socially. In terms of music, X was clearly a trendsetter and over the few years you'll see a lot of artists (not like there aren't already) inspired by him. And in terms of social impact, X touched, helped and saved the lives of countless people. Watch the video ''xxxtentacion saved my life'' if you don't believe me. I've always liked Pac but I'll never understand why people have him in such a ridiculously high pedestal.

The reason why you don't understand is the same reason why 20 years in the future, someone's going to say they don't understand why anyone would've put X on a pedestal. Time.

Who is here after the Katy Perry lawsuit?
Music (ie. sharing ideas and building off ideas/standing on the shoulders of giants) is going to be difficult to compose now. Honestly artists of all types need to stick together and defend the creative traditions that have served us well.
Yes, we need to shame and legally go after thieves who blatantly steal true-art from true-artists, from people who work tirelessly to improve their craft; however, the notion that musical ideas are only used (or thought of) only once, by only one person, is utterly wrong.
Two human minds (completely separate from the other) can create the same music, its possible.
If we continue on this absurd path of "this series of notes/tones/rhythms is mine!" then what happens to blues music? What happens to jazz (ie "the lick" which is commonly used in jazz improv). What happens to hip-hop (ie sampling)?
What happens to music as an art?

Nifty By Nature People we’re saying that years before his death when he didn’t have the portfolio do back that statement up, but I honestly believe if he wasn’t already legendary on his soundcloud and doing things like helping out Florida on the map, and turning himself around as a person, he had infinite potential to become something greater. I feel in 20 years we won’t be talking negatively about X, or his allegations or judgin, And weighing him against Pac, we will just be worshipping the greatness that they put towards us, X’s influence isn’t going to be felt for a while now, but how Memphis and that Three 6 Mafia triplet flow is embedded in nearly every rapper out right now, we will see X in every rapper, if we don’t already see it today.
I honestly believe Pac was a better artist and person then X was, but X didn’t have the time to achieve or surpass, and it isn’t my jurisdiction to decide who is better as a person, or is it even of ours responsibility.

I think that with the concert question, it really depends on the person you're seeing. I've seen Harry Styles live twice and I may be a bit biased, but both times were incredible. The first time I was in the nosebleeds, and I saw him at MSG the second time and I was behind the stage. He only has 10 songs on his album, and he performs all 10 of them, and covers What makes you beautiful, Stockholm syndrome, if I could fly, and at the first show he covered story of my life (by one direction), just a little bit of your heart (by Ariana grande, but he wrote it), and the chain by fleetwood Mac. During the second show he and his opening act, Kacey musgraves covered still the one by shania twain. Even in shitty seats, the concert was incredible, for two songs he goes onto a B stage, and interacts with the audience members a lot (reads their signs, starts conversations, waves around their pride flags and black lives matter flags, starts water fights with them, and just jokes around a lot). I've seen videos from the other nights on his tour and none of them are the same, he interacts with new fans and tells new jokes, and he wears a different eccentric suit every night. He also doesn't forget about the people in the cheap seats, he makes sure to interact with them too. He also changes notes and lyrics and stuff too. If you don't believe me, read any article written about his tour, and the reviewers are dazzled with his performance and personality.

The only live show I enjoyed being in the nosebleeds in a giant arena was NIN. Didn’t matter where you were in the audience, the visual show accompanying the music was the most mind blowing thing you’d ever see. It didn’t matter if Trent and company were tiny little ants, the visual spectacle you were being treated to was just awe inspiring. It’s some of the craziest shit I’ve ever seen. Not to mention Trent loves to switch up styles of his songs he plays live and will mash two songs together so you don’t hear the same shit you’ve heard on the records over and over again AND he always has a live band. Recently his live shows haven’t been that crazy but still one of the best bands you can see live, no matter what size the venue is.

I was glad to see him change a new leaf but unfortunately he was taken too soon, no one deserves to die young. I enjoy their music, but they're low-key overrated. Especially when people overestimate their ~potential~ and ~what could've been~ due to the fact that they died young and tragically. For all you know, maybe their career was already at its peak potential and on its way downhill.

David Boucard I can't talk about the rest because I don't know much, but Kurt Cobain is definitely not overrated. Not only are Nevermind and In Utero two of the best albums ever, even the material Nirvana released in compilations or singles, and even non "official" songs are absolute gold. I think it's a shame how actually underrated he is in rock circles and to the general public since most people only know Nirvana's most popular two or three songs

Car Seat Headrest has great live shows, because Will and the band always create different versions of song and combine songs, or play deep cuts. I love that.

Damn melon, even with that intro you couldn't make the video 10 minutes long.. I'm disappointed :(
