super info! This guy use to be the lead writer for Lost Treasure magazine back in the 1980s and 1990s! I read alot of Michael Paul Hensons books! learned alot about treasure hunting from them research is key to the successful treasure hunter for sure! great treasure leads! He wrote a book called Americas Lost Treasures its a must read!
Very interesting history of Maine. These stories deserve some investigation for sure. Wish I could devote my life to looking for these treasures.

@@susanseastcoastdigs I met the man many moons ago and the coins he had from the Casco Bay hoard were impressive if to be believed! He died in the 70s, would like to know what happened to all that. His collection was incredible.
@@kennethstickney8819 dont know about the casco bay hoard? the Castine Maine hoard is 100 percent real the Maine Historical Society in Portland has some of the actual coins still on display! I know a second hoard was found in Castine Maine later in the mid 1800s!
