    i like this but i like the way Stewart does it better. When the screen gets smaller it doesn't have that grey space. its all black

      When the lights are out and the masking is on it’s 100% blacked out. You’re seeing the effect of the room lighting being on.

    Thanks Todd, and Chris. The mid-range TAM screen might be the way to go for me. Just need a wall to hang it on first 🙂.

      TAM is a great option, speaking from experience!

    Another great interview, Todd. This question is Little bit off topic, but I would like your opinion on this. I’m in the market for a new projector. I presently on an older JVCDLA 550 projector combined with a elunevision 135 inch Cinemascope acoustically, transparent screen. I’m still getting very good performance out of my projector with that screen combination but I have been looking at the JVC NP5 as well as the NZ7. I’ve been told the NP5 can come very close, if not equal the NZ seven in terms of performance. I put at best maybe six hours on my projector a week so the laser lamp life might not be a big deal to me. The difference in price is about $5000 Canadian. What would your advice be for me on this future purchase Todd. Thanks again keep up the great work.

    @AV NIRVANA
    Did they mention when or if they will offer automation control with their masking systems to tie into the likes of Crestron or Control4 ?
