When I first built my home theater, the first piece I got, which was a must have and I still own after changing things out many times (on projector #3), has been my Stewart Studiotek 130 Screen. I've owned my 100" Stewart Screen for 25 years.
Hey I was wondering what type screen would be best for a dark basement. If alr is still the best that's fine, but if light isn't an issue is an alr neccessary
You would not need ALR in that situation. Please reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com to discuss your system in more details. Thanks for watching
Best would be a pure matte white 1.0 gain (SnoMatte 100/StudioTek 100) (basically if you have sufficient Lumen projector(anything above 3000 on 120-150" should be ok ).
Excellent video, with very useful information. Agree completely with the ST130-G4 material being optimal for most theater situations. That's probably going to be my next theater upgrade.
Depends on the application. We are big fans of Stewart for most situations. Please feel free to reach out to our team to discuss your best choice. Thanks for watching
I really don’t get it. It’s more then actually more the a home projector. Why pay 2,000 bucks if an 70 inch Amazon screen works ? 10:10 then why charge your screen for 70 bucks for average customer can effectively buy?
I always wondered if the Stewart Filmscreen price/performance difference is worth the extra thousands of dollars when compared to more affordable options like Elite and Silver Ticket. Also "Made in China" isn't always a bad thing, as we know some good speakers, AVRs, Amps etc. are made in China and yet perform very well.
That is very true. Our intention was to showcase that they are made in America. To us, it is well worth it due to the fact that they simply just last longer and are better materials. Thanks for sharing!

Do they offer easily removable masking panels for 16x9 screens, to make them 2.4:1 for watching scope movies?

What is the recommended gap between the screen and a speaker with compression drivers (JBL Synthesis) when using the ST130-G4?
8-12 inches is standard. However, we recommend you reach out to our experts at audioadvice.com to be sure your setup is exact. Thanks!

They are sold all over the world, but we are not sure who the distributor is in Brazil. Thanks for watching
