No point in being in the E.R. His wife is gonna kill him anyways
He should be in the ER then. Technically the nurse is making for more for himself.
It's perfect. They can just revive him to deal with his shit.
Atleast they’ll have the doctor call the time of death
@@lillianbartlesby6750 lmaooo
Take him directly to the morgue 😂
I've actually been in this situation before as a nurse and it really sucks. Do not ask us to deal with the messes you have made in your own life
Then as a nurse you know that even though it sucks, if a patient specifically says that someone isn’t permitted to know they are a patient, then you legally cannot tell that other person that the patient is even in that hospital….no matter who it is. 😮 😔
After processing dating these people I realize that they project- they think that because they lie all the time that other people also do the same thing. They are genuinely shocked when I did what I said I would do and set boundaries. Especially the family members that were involved in my abuse and rape. They think everyone is a liar that is predators and prey. They pretend high self-esteem people trying to be healthy and transcendent don’t exist because we are rare. So when they meet one some are genuinely shocked. You must have just grown up around healthy people so you probably don’t know people like my family are as bad as they are trying to enslave their other family members and crap. But more people are raped by people they know than strangers.
@@melissadunton3534 It will take a while for that information to be given to the operator.

I agree and while you have HIPAA to worry about I have no such legal requirements if I know a coworker or peer is behaving in such a way. "No, he hasn't worked any OT or been here at all on the weekends, you should probably ask Abigail. . . ."

True but I am curious if they can legally do something like that otherwise he could have grounds to sue the hospital
@@youyo2205but what if there was an emergency where the patient couldn't advocate for themselves? If he's legally married, then the wife would have to be informed about the situation rather than the girlfriend
So he'll be paying them twice one for the current situation and a second time for when his wife gets him. Lol

He had left his wife for the girlfriend but never got a divorce. He ended up being buried by the county in a wood box. Be warned!

Oh wait, are you his wife or the girlfriend? His girlfriend can come back, but he was clear we were supposed to tell his wife he isn't here.
@@Alexandra11090 The most the ER could do is say that she isn't allowed to come back. It is not their job to lie and direct her to another center.
Medical professionals are obligated to maintain your MEDICAL privacy. Personal bullshit is fair game.
No, presence in a practice is part of medical privacy.
@@Anonymous-54545 if his wife is his emergency contact then they can't really turn her away.
None of the departments I've worked in were as busy as the ED but they were all pretty freaking busy. That tells me the ED is at a mind blowing level of busy so they aren't going to take their time to prevent someone else's drama. That isn't our job.
If it's a case of abuse or something sensitive like a person's safety then, hell yeah! I'll gate keep the door myself and say what I need to say to keep someone away from them. But I'm not going to lie for someone like this.
@@Anonymous-54545 You're right, but in this case the patient has informed all parties of his presence - the girlfriend apparently by having her take him there, and the wife by either telling her or leaving her as the emergency contact. Past that, the patient is requesting the medical staff to aid in concealing non-medical matters which the patient has "left in plain sight", and the staff has no obligation to assist. Though arranging to make SURE it is seen is... well, that might violate hospital policy.
@@hasufinheltain1390 Except there is no such policies in a hospital. The wife is next of kin, she has right to visit her husband in hospital, she cannot be denied visit unless there is court order. Privacy from next of kin will not stand in court because of the legal relationship there. If the guy wants privacy from wife, should just get divorced.
@@Umme-45 Well, that's not true at all. There are plenty of circumstances in which even a spouse or next of kin - even someone who explicitly has medical power of attorney - can be denied access to the patient. Most often it's "I'm sorry, visiting hours are over" or "the patient has requested no visitors right now". When the patient is awake and coherent, their wishes take priority.
Now, what's complicated here is, the patient didn't say "I don't want to see my wife, do not send her to my room". That was implied, arguably, but it's not what he said. What he *said* was "tell her I'm not here". Which, as rightly pointed out, would be within his rights to some extent, though I'm not clear how granular a hospital can be about that: as far as I know they don't have a public list of current patients, but if you have sufficient other information (e.g. "I'm here to see Steve Malibu, he's supposed to be in room 502") they'll confirm. In this case, it's pretty clear she knows he is at the hospital, probably because he told her, since she is on her way there already and he knows that.
At that point, since all parties know of his presence, that's not privileged information. So at best there *might* be a hospital policy - and different hospitals have different policies - to act to prevent conflict with patients and visitors.
Sometimes I can’t believe audacity of some people. Being unfaithful and expecting strangers (who are busy AT WORK) to cover their crimes. 😂
Its a skit but if this was real they be fired pretty sure
No they would not be fired. First of all it takes A LOT for an essential worker in a commonly short staffed workplace to get fired. Second, what exactly would be the fireable offence? Hospital staff are employed to care for their patients' health, not to support their shitty lifestyles. We don't buy cigarettes or alcohol for them if they ask either.

I had worked as a manager for an apt complex. This great young female tenant was making bad choices and getting evicted due to a boyfriend living there that was not authorized and causing problems. He drove really fast into the complex and I went outside to see who it was and tell them to please slow down - kids ride their bikes around and people walking etc… it was the boyfriend checking the mail with an unknown female in the passenger seat. I called the tenant to see how things were going with vacating and mentioned I wasn’t sure if she was in the car with her boyfriend that just drove in too fast. She said no, she was at work. I said oh, I thought you had changed your hair or something. Lookin out for a young woman that was making poor decisions that would effect her moving forward for a scum bag that wasn’t worth it. I worked on the med/surg ward of a hospital. A man came to visit his wife, she had an appendectomy. They got into an argument about IF she had a boyfriend. He fully admitted she did not. But IF she did. He ripped her IV out. Blood everywhere. Swung the IV pole towards the nurses. Saline everywhere. She was screaming, he was yelling. Blood and saline made the floor super slick and he slipped and fell. Gave himself a concussion. By that time security was there. We got her out of the room and taken to another room. The original room was assigned to be cleaned. The husband was partially restrained (one arm), and he was taken to the ER for observation. Next person to visit the wife was her brother. A lawyer.
I hope she got a divorce because I can only imagine what goes on behind closed doors. Was pretty funny that he slipped and fell, instant karma lol.
Yikes, that guy was abusive, I hope she left his ass.
This posting reminds me of scenarios when I began my nursing career in 1982. DRAMA!
It's usually the adulterers themselves who wrongly accuse their spouses of cheating.
They believe that everyone is as morally deficient as they are.
Truth is stranger than fiction. JERRY SPRINGER TIME HAPPENS ANYWHERE! There's less respect for a hospital environment 😢
it’s amazing how many patients think we’re willing to accommodate their family drama
EEEEE! This is how I caught my fiance who was cheating!!
I had to go to the ER, & he was waiting with me. This other young woman walked in from outside, & I felt him physically startle, then stiffen. He became quiet, too.
She sat down across the room, but facing us. She waited around 10 minutes, then got up, came over, & said "I thought that was you" to him.
He introduced her as one of his classmates. We talked for a while, but he eventually had to leave for work. She stayed.
As soon as he was gone, I asked her how long had she been seeing him.
She answered, & I asked her if I called her after he got home, would she answer the phone. She promised that she would.
And she did.
Unfortunately, I was already living with him & his family so the 3 weeks it took me to move out were pretty uncomfortable. His family didn't mince their words with him either.
It's all water under the bridge, of course. Many years later, Facebook became a thing, & I looked him up. They had married, ehem... rather quickly, & have had a gaggle of kids since. They're probably 5-ish yrs ahead of my husband & me in marriage. It'll be our 30th anniversary this year (34 together). I haven't checked, but I hope that they're still going strong.
It was a shitty thing for him to do, but when I think about just how close I came to not having my life now... I'm an incredibly fortunate woman!
Only a cheater would see this as a duty or as a "guy code" that must be upheld. The decent human beings are appalled.
Most guy code is up for interpretation. That said, cheaters really are vermin.

What’s interesting to me (as a nurse) is that it’s not the men this happens with, but rather the women. Especially the nurses themselves. Men, if your girl is a nurse, she’s not your girl. She’s everyone’s girl.
@@americandissident9062funny, I know several male nurses, who cheated, but not one female nurse.
You see anecdotes don’t count.
Anyone might cheat, it always depends on the people, not the sex, gender or profession.
@@jennyh4025 Imagine thinking that there are no variables at all that alter stats. That’s basically what you’re saying. I’m willing to think you believe that cops are no more aggressive in life than the cashier at Walmart. Men and women are different, you see. Women cheat more often because they can rationalize their bad behavior. They’ve been shielded their entire lives from the consequences of their behavior. The female nurses you know have probably cheated and you have no idea. 30% of paternity tests taken in North America result in the woman having to notify a different man than the one she told was the father. You can also find large surveys that show women engage in cheating behavior at least as often as men but get caught less, and they’re held accountable for it less often.
Also, you’re the only one in the thread who introduced anecdotal information.

You gonna cheat? Just be single. If you can’t do that, don’t draft strangers, especially those on the clock, to get involved in your weird toxic shit. You are an adult. You fix your own bad decisions.
I had a roommate when I had back surgery. He had been brought to the ER by his girlfriend when one of his penis implants broke during sex and was admitted so the old implant could be replaced. Our nurse was his wife’s best friend. He made her promise not to tell his wife about the girlfriend, and she didn’t. What she did was call his wife and tell her he was in the hospital and was going to have emergency surgery but told her to come to the hospital and not call him first. Guess who was holding his hand when wifey arrived? Awkward (I was on the other side of the curtain laughing my butt off as quietly as possible but would never he heard over them all yelling). Both women left together but both came back when the other wasn’t there .

Nurses don't get paid enough for that shit.
Reminds me of a time I responded to a wreck (EMS) in which a truck rolled off the highway into a ditch. The male driving and female passenger were both ejected from the vehicle. Another ambulance had already taken the girl and we showed up to get the guy. I found a credit card on the ground next to the truck with the name first name Brandy. I asked the man if he knew a Brandy, he told me Brandy was "his girl", who was in the passenger seat and confirmed her last name. I told him I was putting her credit card in his jacket pocket. I assumed Brandy was his wife due to the fact he had a ring on his finger. Fast-forward 20 minutes at the trauma center, his actual wife shows up, the patient is taken immediately to get a head scan, my partner and I give his belongings to his wife, who looks through them and says, "Who the fuck is Brandy??"
Talk about an awkward day
All the gossip I got from the nurses of stories just like this one when I was going to deliver. It was really funny, they told me that they would tell me if my husband would try to pull something like this, I was like I love you guys 😂

People really do have this audacity. Apparently during my dad’s affair he kept a picture of the girlfriend on his desk at work. Colleagues actually confronted him about how inappropriate it was and he told them to mind their own. I only learned about this recently, 10-15yr after the fact
"I am minding my own, Dave. This is a friggin' workplace, and I'm not trying to lie for your cowardly ass".
I worked with a guy that did not understand the concept of fidelity at all. He also couldn't keep his mouth closed to save his life if he had to so we, whether we wanted to or not, knew all of his business. He would have two cell phones and eventually his wife caught him and he lost the 2nd phone. After that, he started using the work cell phone. One day at work the phone buzzes. I check it because someone is probably at the gate and needs to get in. Nope, it's a full view of some random girl's downstairs area and she quickly follows up with "wait, is this Jeff's phone?" To which I simply reply "Who is Jeff?" 😂 My boss never fired him despite hating him and knowing this because we were always so short handed. He'd always blab on and on about his escapades and finally one day I had enough when he started talking about how a girl that smelled and how girl younger than 18 shouldn't smell bad down there. The dude was easily 35-40 years old. I snapped and told him to STFU and I didn't want to hear about this kind of illegal crap. I thought about reporting him to LE but I didn't have any proof other than what he said. Eventually I guess his wife had enough of him too because she left him and went out of state and he left the job to go after her. We were all relieved.
The audacity of cheaters who seem like normal, trustworthy people except for in this one area (or up until the moment that they provably aren't), is amazing. Especially when it's a parent.

As well they should!
Omg what if they cheat 10 times before
No. They really don't always get caught.
I wish that were true. Unfortunately, it's not. But they should. I'd reckon it's more often they don't get caught, it's just that repeated offenses increase the likelihood that they will. And they can't resist repeating their mistakes, which gives the victim in this more chances to catch on. It's unfortunate, but the silver lining is that their addiction to their behavior, if caught, will be the thing that gets them caught, and rightfully so.

All you dumb girls laughing, saying how you'd do this that and the other thing. Consider they have a home, children & a life.
It’s so true! I love how the “affair partner” thinks she’s won such a great prize when she walks away with a now known habitual cheater that shows no respect for women, no respect for himself, is incapable of staying in a monogamous relationship and will never experience the joy of the deep and ever changing love of a long term relationship. These are the women who after marrying the men they cheated with are so surprised that somewhere down the road they get cheated on and are expected to endure it.
My father was like that. He married my mother (20, he was 28). She couldn’t have any girlfriends because my father hit on every woman he saw and all their husbands would not allow their wives to hang with my mother. When I was a year old, my mother got a phone call saying that my father’s wife was hemorrhaging in a hotel room after a botched abortion (this was 1964 before abortions were legal). Obviously this was his girlfriend. Eventually he married this girlfriend in 1971 after they had 2 children together however in the meantime he had a child with another woman whom I only found out about some 40yrs later. Towards the time he was turning 60, he started to lose it. He had a face lift, a tummy tuck, quit smoking (although it do much good- less than 5yrs later he was dead from lung cancer) and according to his wife who stuck with him for 45yrs, he was putting adds in Craig’s list (this was late 90’s at internets first dawning) for 18yr old girls.. and they responded because he had wealth. He put on thru school, another in a condo… etc.
In other words… he was an extremely disgusting man. And there are so many like him.. even his own children (he ended up having 8.. at least 7 of them think he’s horrible.)

Tbh I thought the "bro code" was stuff like "be a good wingman for your friends when you're on a night out" and "don't date your friends' exes" and "be a good Best Man/groomsman at friends' weddings (give a good reception speech, throw a fun bachelor party, be responsible, don't be disruptive at the ceremony or reception)" ... not "cover for them when they're cheating on their wives."
@@sholem_bond that is being a bad friend. Not really the bro code. Lying is like agreeing your boy went to some concert when really you got some trucks and went mudding. Or saying you went to a conference but actually snuck off to comic con if your wife doesn't like it. Small lies, not cheating on your girlfriend or wife.
I wish I was lying but one day we had a guy having a baby in one room with one GF and the second GF was in another room. Both having babies on the same unit, same day. If memory serves, we had to call security because the families ended up getting into a fist fight on post partum. One of the nurses had to swoop the baby out of the room. Bunch of idiots. Another time we had a guy come in having a baby with his GF. Not even a month later the same fool walks in having another baby with someone else. The ward clerk remembered him and was just 🤦🏽♀️ Fun times in L&D. 🙄
Cheating is so common nowadays is so scary. I promised never to get married/ have children because of so many cheating stories from friends.
Those kind of guys need to be admitted to have a vasectomy right away.
We had a guy whose girlfriend and wife apparently knew about each other and were cool about it lol. Another bragged about having his 25th kid. Somehow they managed to have zero supplies ready for their full term baby.
Was it Nick Cannon?

All I gotta say is it's good he's already in the ER
Love this!
No one should cover up adultery.
Wish someone would have done this to my husband, it sure would have helped me out.

I see why he has the side piece now.
Must be miserable being married to you.
@@Mortablunt really. He can't just leave he has to cheat? She's the ice queen BECAUSE he's cheating, why would she respond to his cheating with a warm sunny smile? Are you stupid?
@@Mortablunt what he needs is morals and accountability 💀
Youre an angel. Idc what someones gender is...being a cheater is trash. If a woman thinks i wont tell her man shes cheating because were both female...shes got another thing coming.
This sounds like a personal experience 😂
@YuBeace I had a best friend that was a chronic cheater on her bfs and she would hide it from me. It was one of the reasons I stopped being her friend. This isn't against women...I'll tell a woman if her man is cheating too. I just know some weirdos out there have some weird loyalty to their gender and I find that gross. I'm loyal to good people...that's it.
@@lucianaromulus1408 Truth! 👏 You keep doing your thing
"Hello, Mrs Malibu. Your husband said to tell you he's not here in room 12..."
HOPEFULLY the doctors will be able to RESUSCITATE his lying, cheating behind........ just long enough for her to deck him again.
I’m not in healthcare, but isn’t the spouse the default power of attorney in case of medical incapacitation?
Yes but it won't apply here cuz he is coherent.
@@MelissaHogwood Oh I think he means once she goes into the room and sees his extra curricular activities*
Is the spouse still the power of attorney in case of medical decapitation? 😂
@@alybloodshade she wouldn't get to the room tho
Yes default I believe your right but she still wouldn't get to the room since he said no

Part two...Mrs Malibu contributed to his extended stay at the hospital.
Thankfully he's in the ER already.... 😅😂
This awesome for what the doctor done. He's going to be in there awhile, especially after 2 women get ahold of him. 😂😂😂😂
Men should get their affairs in order instead of relying on the hospital staff to get entangled in their personal problems. We are obligated by law to go by what or who is legal. The girlfriend doesn't have a legal leg to stand on but the wife is legally the next of kin and can make legal decisions on his behalf. This happened to a pt that was in ICU on a ventilator. Even though the guy was estranged from the wife, they were never divorced so the wife held all the cards and barred the girlfriend from seeing him.
Happens quite often with all different family and friends. The legal spouse has the say over everyone else's chances of visiting sedated patients, however if the patient is alert and oriented they have the right to choose.
Ooo, that's cold!
I'm waiting for YOU WOMEN to stop doing the same stuff.
I would have taken him off life support
@@Bri-nc8yp lol you can't just do that if the patient is expected to recover. It's a hospital, not a murder ward.
If only there were people who wouldn't let cheaters get away with this
What are you expecting them (hospital staff) to do? They have enough to deal with.
The nurse in the video did as much as he can do. Strangers can't run your life for you.
This needs a part 2! 😂
Hell yeah! I bet Abigail didn’t know about wifey either!😂❤
I'm an ER nurse and this exact situation happened to me while at work 😂😂😂😂😂
Facts. We don't play yall games. But we will watch a good show...
You expect the hospital staff to be your wingman😂😂 wild
It’s ok. The wife is always the only one that can legally tell the doctor to plug or unplug all the tubes.

If you don't want the wife to meet your girlfriend, make your WIFE your girlfriend.
True facts 👆👆👆
The ke$ha reference YES😩😂😂😂
I’m not an ER nurse, but when patients ask me to lie for them, I IMMEDIATELY want to tell the doctor EXACTLY what they said, WORD FOR WORD!
Sometimes patients are just stupid. Sometimes they think
We’re stupid.
Either way, I ain’t lying for y’all.
NOPE!
I don't think the patients wanted you to lie to the doctor, even if the patient had ten girlfriends, he'd want the doctor to know
Lying to the doctor is basically never a good idea. But in situations where the lie is less scummy and more self-protective, it's probably worth it to figure out how to communicate what the doctor needs to know while shielding the patient's safety and ensuring their quality of care doesn't tank.
(Like for instance, because the doctor found out the patient is trans and now won't even set their broken bone or prescribe them an antibiotic because "I'm not comfortable/qualified to provide *that kind* of healthcare!" ... Or because the patient could be pregnant/can't tell you when their last period was, and they need a medical treatment that can cause pregnancy loss [and Roe v. Wade has been overturned so a ton of doctors and hospitals now refuse to do any treatment that can cause miscarriage because they're afraid of getting arrested or sued for "performing abortions"].)
Bro literally just called me his wife lol
"Thank you...brotha.." killed me 😂
His wife when she shows up:
-is he hurt?
The Nurse:
-not yet!
😂😂😂
I transferred from the ICU to the Recovery Room because no visitors and I was over the family drama. ❤❤❤
Good thing he’s in the ER. It’ll save time.
He didn't tell her...🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
There should be special nursing class to learn how to handle drama
Nope, it's not our jobs to cover and lie for you.
They deal with all kinds of drama. And they're not paid enough for it. Not to mention having to watch their every interaction in case of complaints/reports from stressed out people reacting irrationally
I'm sure it's already part of the ciriculam. That said most will wont deal with drama.
He might be going through a divorce and just didn’t want to see her, not neccesarily being unfaithful
I need a part two of this one
This happened to me once upon a time. I pretended to leave and said my goodbyes to my now x mother in-law. The girlfriend took the bait and rushed to see my then husband 🤣. I walked right back in on them. All the time my X mother in-law knew who she was and was trying to make us get back together so I could take care of his injuries. We were separated because I caught him with someone else. Even the doctor was hating on me because he was related to my x mother in law some how.😝
If this is a true story, kudos to the doctor for uniting the two
“He’s over there, he’s dying to see you”
Would love to see the meet up between the two!
Oh boy. Once I saw a guy in the ER who had a s*x toy (still switched on) stuck way up his bum, and he explained this had happened with his girlfriend and forbade everyone from telling his wife wtf was going on when she got there. It was so awful.
