Thank you good sir for all your knowledge. I've watched all your NSX videos and learned a ton. Love the way you break things down in a very simple and understandable way. Networking is a beast but you make look easy 😊 Thank you for the valueable content. Subscribed, Liked and Commented 😂 More power to your channel
Thanks for the excellent video. What is the relevance of the VRF for the RTEP? I assume the networking between the sites just need to route the traffic between the RTEP IPs. Is the BGP passing the Overlay networks between the site? Thanks
Good question! iBGP is used to pass routing information that the edge Nodes in one site learns to the edge Node(s) in the other Site(s). My Next video will be n this.. Hopefully later this week,, Thanks again..
Sure thing! I explain it in the begiining of the video.. Remember I am using VMware Workstation and everything is ritualized with that. My Site A Underlay between the ESXi host (Esxi-01) and my Edge nodes on that site are on the 172.20.11.0/24 network. Site B I repeat the process but on a different sub net 172.20.111.0/24 I will be doing a Federation Routing video this week, so maybe that will help out.. Thanks again and have a great day.

Great video.
I noticed you did not register site A VCA and site B VCA under compute manager on GM NSX, it looks like we do not need to that ?
Thanks!
You are correct. only Local managers needs access to vcenter server. remember there is no control plane on Global Manager
Thanks for your content, is it possible explain your underlay network?

thank you! To deploy GM-02 Federation, have to follow same process as GM-01 ?
For my GM-02 that I used as a standby - Yes I deployed it the same as I did GM-01. Thanks for watching and have a good one...
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊 Have a great day.
