My thing is afraid to fertilize no matter how because most of mine are pretty recent and in my minds eye they had something giving to them before leaving the grower. I have the miracle grow sticks and if I do administer I may go the half does to be more precautionary.
I totally understand your worries. I had the same. I was worried about when to fertilize plants that were recently repotted into new soil because there’s fertilizer in the soil. It’s really such a small amount that there’s no need to worry. Just do what you’re saying and cut the dose in half. You should always do that with traditional fertilizer. Now with Liqui-dirt, you don’t need to worry about fertilizer burn. One of the things like I like about it.
