I've got the first Vive but I'm still happy with it for now. You should try buying one of the suspension kits, they're pretty cheap and work great once you get the set up dialed in. I don't have any problems with it twisting, tripping on the cord, being in the way, and if it's done right, going around your neck. lol. The only big issue I have with the cord suspension kit is that if your Vive is in a high traffic area and/or you have kids, It sucks to have to get a ladder or something to take it down after game play. There may be other types that are easy removal. I just didn't come a crossed it a few years ago when I got it. I just thought I would throw that out there for any one interested.
