The indigenous worldview resonates with IFS. This experiential workshop will articulate and allow you to experience this resonance using multiple modalities to engage body, mind, and spirit. Drawing upon the experience of IFS-informed elders and IFS-trained practitioners we will share actual examples of healing being done among native tribes. We will explore the shamanic roots of the IFS unburdening process, the integration of spirit as manifested in Self energy, and the necessity to engage communal healing processes. The legacy burdens carried by generations calls for a paradigm shift in how IFS meets this need for healing. Members of the newly formed Indigenous Elder IFS Council will share what they have learned in their work so far and will solicit ideas from the IFS community on how to expand and deepen their efforts. Come to be informed, engaged, healed, and inspired.
