    Everything Austin has said is 100% on point. I used to be a skinny 120lb kid at 5'6" now being 150lbs and lean ive noticed a huge change in how the world around me treats me. Before I used to be invisible, most likley a product of my lack of self confidence. Now being somewhat built and having a better physique than most, people stop and stare, notice you more, respect you, and overall just treat you better. When you start treating your body better, people start treating you better

      It does but too many people rely off the confidence from the outside world that when they hit a hole they act feminine. Because they’re so use to the validation from others. Too much of it isn’t what a man needs. Just off his accomplishments alone he can walk tall no matter how hard he falls or how other people perceive him.

    Damn that’s so true about not even realising how skinny you are until people start to mention it. When I was younger, so many people used to make comments about my weight to the point that I started to become self-conscious about it. I’d liken it to fat shaming, I think it has the same effect. Weight is a tough one but I’d try to advise people not to become obsessed with your weight, but build a healthy relationship with it and slowly progress to what you deem as more desirable. It tends to boil down to lifestyle choices. The daily things you do that become habit. For example, when you’re thirsty, do you drink soda or water? Do you snack on fruit or cake? Do you go for a walk every day, or is a walk not part of your routine? One thing I credit my mother on was that she would never keep a weighing scale at home. And when I asked her why, she said that she didn’t want anyone in this house weighing themselves daily, obsessing over their weight. Everyone in my family is slim - for the record - but I can understand it better now that I’m older. It wasn’t until I got around other people that I realised how important they deemed weight.

    If you are interested in being taken SERIOUSLY (by men or women) you NEED to have 2 of these 3 assets:
    1) Money
    2) Muscles
    3) Game
    Lets break these down.
    Money: shows that you have competence in today's world. We used to have to hunt and kill in order to provide, now its about making cash.
    Muscles: indicate that you are disciplined and contribute to a masculine frame respected by people you interact with.
    Game: is the understanding of social queues that allows you to make big deals or approach and seduce attractive women.
    Here we talk about muscles, and they are hands down necessary. You want confidence? Build muscles. You want more respect? Build muscles. You want more women? Build muscles.
    Stop saying "one day" and make today "day one."

    The part about instinctively sizing up another man on who can beat up who is very true even if we don't like to admit it.
    I think for most of my life I got the low key satisfaction of the intimidation factor from my height, and never felt the need to build muscle. Other guys kept a respectful distance in any case. Food and weight are my personal demons since forever and no matter how hard I work i still fail all the time, i end up binging and doing crazy stuff. • @GratefulTao
      @GratefulTao Рік тому +3

      It depends bro - if you’re a complete newbie in the gym and you’re like under 20% bodyfat, you’re gonna cut first (only 200-300 calories in a deficit every day) while still going to the gym and getting stronger at key lifts. You’re in a space where you can still make gains in a deficit so Don’t worry about building so much muscle rn, just lean down over the next 6-12 months. Bulking when you’re not strong AND not lean sucks because your body is way more likely to store those extra calories as fat instead of muscle cause your insulin sensitivity sucks, and you’re not gonna look as good as you think you will after a bulk. (I made this mistake and was confused why I was still skinny fat after months of a “bulk”). But if you lean down to 10-12%, THEN bulk (only a 200-400 calorie surplus daily) your insulin sensitivity will be much better, and because you’re gaining weight slowly, you will build more muscle than fat, and build upon the strength you gained in your cutting phase.

    • @mateusz3541
      @mateusz3541 Рік тому +1

      Cut first is what works for me. I eat healthily, have a proper protein intake, and work out. I bulked for 3 months and I regret it - my arms were still skinny, but my belly went immense! I felt terrible and my self-confidence dropped even more. Now I cut - I'm still skinny, but my belly is flatter. My self-confidence increased to a level I never had before. Try it for about 2 months and check how you feel. If you don't like it, bulk or recomp. You have nothing to lose, beside your belly. I lost 7 kg but my arms and chest are a little bigger - everyone notices. Cutting is really hard and needs inhuman patience. Better to do it for 3 months and then lean bulk than bulk and then suffer dieting for a year.

    • @aaronrogers4963
      @aaronrogers4963 Рік тому

      As someone who was in the same position a long time ago. Just eat at maintenance and apply progressive overload for a year. At that point you can decide whether to cut or bulk from there. I know it can be super confusing in the beginning but trust me you'll see the difference if you stick to one thing for either 6months to a year. Don't second guess yourself and yoyo around. After 6months to a year of consistent diet and training you will have a better visible indication as to what to do next pertaining to your body. Gl hope this helps.

    I am working on getting stronger and more jacked but I dont really think in day to day life anyone or myself will really give 2 fucks.
    I just want to fill out my tall frame and be stronger to give some arsehole a beating if I am forced into it + being able to lift stuff easier is nice. Already feel satiafying easily being able to lift suitcases into overhead locker now compared to the past.

    It's also a way to find like minded friends, not just GF's. Great talk, on point, to the point. Not douchette style, (yellin' and yellin') "eat more protein"

      Even I would be like he's on something but seeing his older pictures say's boy got really good genetics, he put the work in and that's what you get with good genetics+hardwork...

    lol I take no protein/creatine straight eating pizzas everyday and train 20 minutes a day I’m strong like a bull full of musca, 25% bf and losing weight for 6 months now, started almost 200, right now 175 and I added some muscle weight too, idk how much
    I’m a pure mesomorph but I was borderline obese nearly all my life, til I realized you eat when you hungry and stop when you full, that’s it, you don’t eat when feel sad, bored, happy, none of that! You eat when the body tells you buddy I’m hungry and STOP when it tells you buddy I had enough. That’s why God created hormones for!
    LETS GET IT CHAMPS 🥇

    Be honest my dude, is your transformation 100% natural? I wanna know to see if it's possible to get that level naturally

      His physique is totally achievable naturally. He takes the advantage of good lighting in pictures and videos which make him look more good but when he is sitting here and talking and the lighting is not very good, his physique seems totally natural and achievable.

    His current build is too much. His lean and athletic build looked a lot better, considering the fact he has great trap genetics.

    "women like man who can protect", well, how about boys who just looks good? in my observation get an emo boy and a body builder to compete and girls would surely always fawn over with the looks, just try to look on omegle, just with looks without even doing anything girls would present themselves while the body builder have to do some sorts to just get a reaction inferior to those with the looks

    No. Life changes when you are captivated by a purpose and a passion, and when you pursue it with relentless determination, discipline, and self mastery. It has nothing to do with muscles or this juvenile preoccupation with physical appearance.
    Otherwise, men like Buffet, Musk, Bezos, Gates, Jobs, MLK, Einstein, Feynman, Dawkins, Gandhi, et al, must have all been losers. On the contrary, it is the literati and the intelligentsia who are the real movers and shakers of the world, the bona fide alpha men. Men who are into fitness are pathetic.
    Oh, and if you think I am a couch potato, NO. Let's just say that I am someone who has intimidated many men who have been in my presence without my having to look like any of you fitness influencers. I don't need to. 😅
