Great looking diver!
Awesome watch, I've had my eye on it since it was announced and great to see a real video review of it.
I pull the trigger on it, blinded at first and i am happy i did. The quality is excellent and the colors are quite vivid and beautiful in real life.
My main hope is that O&W adds lume to all the indeces, not just the 12-3-6-9. Without that lume it lacks some functionality.
Its true also the bezel is very difficult tonuse under water
It's interesting the case similarity between OW and the Omega. I think in those days, before Genta, the brands did not invest much in the the design of a watch but just assembled different dials and cases they would buy from third parties. Genta even said he made his first full watch for Omega without them knowing it, because they had bought pieces from different suppliers all designed by him as he was so prolific. So probably the two brands had the same case manufacturer back then.
Hi Daniel, it is, and many watches of the time share the case shape and characteristic, and really i can think of many. true at the time most pieces where provided by third party manufacturers. Hence this vintage inspired watches might have similar origins, its also tru than this watch is a 1000m WR watch, this is a rare characteristic of this case shape other manufacturerers did not manage, without a helium valve. at the time Omega was doing a Plop Prof or other divers to achieve higher depths. It would be interesting to reconstruct more the history around that period, difficult with most of this brands dying and then coming back to live nowadays
@@WatchInTime Interesting, it was contemporary to the Ploprof? If yes, quite an achievement. What happened to the brand? It went bankrupt for a while liek many others?
I’m in love…. 😍
It is a beautiful watch
Nice review, thanks. Would love to have seen a wrist shot! How's it wearing for you? One other review mentioned the crown digs into the wrist.
Thanks maybe today i will drop a quick 1 week wearing review with some feedback. Subscribe to follow. No problem with bracelet wears loke second akin, the crown neither. I have a couple of things to say about the clasp though
@@WatchInTime That would be great. Looking forward to it!
Done if you like it please leave a comment or a like on it
This watch or Doxa 600T which one would you recommend? Happy new year. Thank you.
For the price and specs… i would probably recommend this one as a more unique. But if you have other skin dicers in your collection and more classical shapes, then the doxa is for you
People please, if you are going to review a freaking watch do a wrist check and state the dimensions of the watch and wrist, if you want my thumbs up.
There is another video on this watch, please see it. My wrist is 18cm and it fits perfectly
@@WatchInTime It felt like a waste of time, should be included in every video. Imho.
@@cesart513 i should and is but i forgot on this. Sorry for that, i dont do scripts and i tend to forget sometimes things that for some are or might be important, this is an excellent watch anyway, sorry you wasted your time and i hope its of help to someone else
The clasp is rubbish apparently
The clasp is the weak point of this wonderful bracelet.
It is not “bad” is just not at the same level with the rest of the watch
Ollech & Wajs shows us how to make a divers watch with the same pilot watch case. The answer is you don't. How could they fail us with the lume as well? This watch had much potential, has many quality components and fine finishing, but the overall execution is a failure.
The clasp is a joke.
No way I would by a O&W.
The clasp is as many many other watches around, even seiko. Could be better? Maybe yes. But that depend to our tastes. Still its a strong and secure clasp, they have just released a 2.0 version that s mw better
Cheap nasty clasp
