The way the designer mixed 2d top down with first person is outstanding.
Saving your cat/dog is now my favorite motivation/goal for games.

28 days means that this game is quite lunar.
Mr. ABG let me remind you how amazing your pixelated intros and outros are. They are so aesthetically pleasing and the jokes are spot on😂
The hand gestures remind me a bit of the first Hylics. This looks really good

By the way, the game style is quite unique and fun. Combining isometric gameplay with turnbased combat and FPS-ish animation is not easy, but it's well done.
at this point im pretty sure abg's only bottleneck on video production is the amount of puns they can come up with
That's an unique idea for graphics. Seems low effort, but then you see the first person animations.

Surprisingly tactical. The small screens make it more of a chess puzzle than free roaming roguelikes.
yeah, it does a good job of having being fast paced but still satisfyingly tactical. I really loved it. :)

Not sure I can say this is a 1 bit style. There are usually 3 to 4 colors per scene. It's got the contrast aspect of the 1bit style. 4 bits maybe I'd nibble on that

i've downloaded this game and it's a ton of fun :D I hope the developer ports this to a console because aside from using the mouse to click the car keys, this game is 100% controler friendly and quite addictive....if a bit frustratingly hard XD

A solider fighting a army to save a hamster or mouse or rat or ginuea pig and a woman killing aliens to save her bird and a child (male or female) killing monsters or nightmares to save a goldfish

It's just a term for a specific black and white visual style, as popularized by The Return of the Obra Dinn (there have never been any actual 1-bit games/consoles/computers).

Yeah, it's turn-based. Like an old school roguelike.
@@AlphaBetaGamer I see. You moved quite fluidly with no clear indication of turns like you both moved at the same time, so I was a bit confused if it's all turns or if the game goes into turn mode only with enemies nearby.
Yeah, it's all turns as soon as you get out of the car, it's a very fast paced take on turn-based gameplay through so I guess it does look a lot like real-time.
Can't tell if the first-person animation feels more like Doom or Hylics.

It's just a term for a specific black and white visual style (as popularized by The Return of the Obra Dinn and World of Horror). There have never actually been any 1-bit games/consoles/computers.

It clearly isn't, if you're strict about the art style's limitations. In just one frame, there are 6 different colors being used. Even if you were to argue that a monitor's "blackness" should never count, there are still 5 others...
