Sure sign of Spring...early garden work!!! Hope things go well and you get a bountiful vegetable harvest. Nice to see you and Shelly involved together.
I really enjoyed seeing that old sears tractor run, they sure don’t make heavy duty garden tractors like that sears anymore. I could kick myself a year ago, I let a cub cadet garden tractor, with the rototiller, and a few other attachments slip thru my fingers. Great video!! Thanks for sharing
Love it, I was prepping my mater & cuke patch today. If you like rhubarb pie, maybe Shelly could find a couple plants to put along the side. Best part is, it's a perennial & you never have to plant it or weed it again. I have a lot of old school plants like that on my farm. Ramps, horseradish, rhubarb, spearmint & peppermint, asparagus, chives, raspberries & apple trees but to name a few. Makes dinner time a wee bit more enjoyable.
That should grow some good food. Looks good. It was cool to see the sears out in the garden. Looked like fun with the cub. Thanks for sharing and I'll see you later.
Great stuff Ethan, the sight of a cubby discing, the smell of manure and freshly turned dirt, and the sound of a Briggs and Stratton…yep it’s spring time 😎y’all take care and keep em comin 🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
That's quite the rototiller set up, wonder what the decibel level is, I had a big simplicity tractor like that as a kid, sounded like a shovelhead Harley. Love it.
I'd say 1st gear to till, the old cub cadet 42 tiller on the cub 129 said the tractor is to hold back the tiller not pull it along according to the old manuals
@@Oliver66FarmBoy can't say I've seen another one, my dad bought it in the 80's with a 18hores gilson rider but I don't ever remember seeing it get used

It was a little overwhelmed last year.
Any day i get to see old Oilvers and an old Sears is a great day. Getting that garden looking good
Blue skies, green grass and budding trees. Spring is my favorite season.
I still prefer early fall right when the leaves are turning.
Love the old craftsman and tiller. Looks like a good potential garden. I bet the dogs would love rolling in that horse crap.
A garden will pay this year with brandonomics still raising prices.
I’m tired of the trash quality you get at the store anymore.
My dad used horse manure for years we would spread it on and till it in did about every other year worked great nice job 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏
Thanks.

No such thing as a garden tractor anymore. You either have a riding mower or a sub compact with nothing in between.

Shelly likes it. I’m not a fan.
Does a real nice job tilling up the soil
Yep

It was a nice afternoon
Nice to have all the toys to do gardening, looks good bud
Yep
Great day for that weather wise.I like your videos like this one.Neat to see what you bring out to take on the task.
Was a beautiful day.
Darn thought you would drag out the plow for the cub or the suburban but it’s good to see old iron in action
It was plowed last fall.
Great video! I love watching people make garden! Thank you
Thanks
Love a good garden video!
Thanks

Sneaks up fast.
that sears and rottotiller would be awesome for doing food plots
My grandfather had the exact same tractor - then he upgraded to the SS16
Always have to take time to play with the small toys.

It’s plenty loud.
@Oliver66FarmBoy Haha I figured it was, refreshing in this plastic sanitized world.

Sears/Roper is a 3 speed high/low transmission. You can run all 3 gears on the low side. Just depends on how fine you want the ground to end up.
Looks like you had all the fun toys out playing in the garden
Yep
Almost time to get started on the garden up here too.
Comes up fast.
Looks good for a spring garden!
Thanks
I bet that tiller struggled w/ only a 3 or 4 HP engine. It works well w/ the bigger engine you have on it.
There’s so much gear reduction it doesn’t take much power.
I add manure or compost to our garden the same way
Works good.
Cool video!
Have a tiller just like that sitting in the shed
They are a little hard to find.

Better to be self sufficient the way things are going.
