- David Coverdale of Whitesnake talks about his engagement to actress Tawny Kitaen in this interview clip from MTV's Top 20 Video Countdown in 1987.
Very sophisticated very handsome charming.
HIS VOICE ❤❤❤❤
He sounds like Richard Burton.
...And the rest is History!
I wished they would have stayed together. They were beautiful couple and seemed to have great chemistry. Rock and roll life i guess.
As midias sempre te enganaram.
Farão você admirar quem não merece e idolatrar quem eles querem.
Te manipulam todo tempo.
Tawny seemed so angry at him shortly before she died. Sad how things change
I saw an interview with Tawny where she said what an narcissistic idiot and an egoist David was.
His accent is gorgeous. I just wish they could have worked out their difficulties.
@@melb.1906Yeah? It's clear to see who had the bigger problems.
@@melb.1906 And do you believe such a woman? She had more redflags than the Soviet Union and was more toxic than Chernobyl.
I don’t think a person can get as far in life as he has if he was a narcissist
Damn I wish I had voice like that
That V-Jay has gorgeous bone structure. Wow!
Blimey, he looks more like John Sykes, than David Coverdale!
lol
What a Voice like Richard Burton
That’s a ridiculously affected accent!
What do you mean, mate? I'm learning English and I like the way he speaks, but is he doing something wrong?
He's English.

When you listen to Coverdale when in DP his Yorkshire heritage is very apparent in his accent. Jon Lord once mocked DC cultivating a ridiculous ‘Roger Moore’ accent and this upper-middle class English accent appears to have coincided with his US citizenship which is very odd. Robert Plant, Paul Rodgers and Ozzy Osbourne who have accomplished global success and enduring popularity esp. in the US that has surpassed that of DC has had no evident impact on their respective English accents and regional dialects.
@@lumaspacasada3680 Thanks for your reply, mate. I'm a Spanish speaker, and for us non-English speakers, his accent is what we think is "THE British accent". I just very recently got to know about all the class differences there are in England, and how accents project those class divisions. And it is quite surprising that, like you probably, many native speakers wouldn't like to sound like DC or like Stephen Fry whereas many of us foreigners would love to because for us it sounds just... beautiful! And, as I said, we tend to think that this Upper-class accent is the only British accent, or the average one at least.
He is such a pet
He looked different
Trouser snake in his prime.
I have heard "Whitesnake" twice: First a concert on cassette in the year 1982 in a bus for the pupil exchange from Germany to France. Just terrible noise and that usual guitar solo at overlength. ABBA took over after that. Then I saw them on TV with "Here I Go Again". Cheesy hair metal sucking in excess. At school we, the boys, were into Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, but no Whitesnake fans anywhere. It must have been a girls´ thing like Def Leppard. Dave´s shlong, so long, so what? Suck, suck, suck!!!
Dignity vs money.coverdale was in deep Purple and formed whitesnake, why on earth he choose to became a spinal tap version of himself?
