- SInce I saw the movie The Man who laughs, it bacame my fave movie and I really love so much the Gwynplaine and Dea couple because both are so tender and cute, a true love based on all the feels and a tragic history for this innocent and chaste lovers played do expressive, emotional and lovely by Conrad Veidt and Mary Philbin...
And about the song I always thought that the song "Kelch der liebe" from Lacrimosa was perfect for this movie, specially for the lyrics. A rejected and lovely clown that have been hurted and fights for the one He loves and leaves a lord's live to stay with her lovely Dea, a sweet blind girl...

This compilation actually prompted me to watch the 1928 adaptation(thanks to you once again) and got me close to another gem. I wonder what people might be thinking leaving the theatre after show back then :)
