For replacing cabin air filter, you DO NOT need to completely remove the glove compartment. I was just showing you on how to completely remove to fix other stuff besides replacing/checking cabin air filter.

Glad I came across this video. The handle of my glove box is broken, so I cannot open it. Please do you have any advice on how to fix the handle without replacing the whole glove box?
Can you use some type of clue to fix?
If not, look for used part on ebay or local yard.

Unfortunately, i forgot to remove all my belongings in the glove compartment when changing the air filter so the whole compartment fell out. I tried to put it back in but it won't close anymore. I took a look inside but it seems like the black rod looking thing the right has detached from the its place so even if i place it back according to how you did it in the video, its still freely moving around on the top part of the rod. is there a way to place that back in?
Yeah now should be aware to put it back but I try and remember.

Okay UP arrow points up. That's a no brainier but if you buy an aftermarket filter many of them don't say up they say "air flow" which way should an air flow arrow point?

The instructions with the filter are correct. Air flow arrows point down because dirty air comes in from the top (which is why dirt collects on the top of the used cabin air filter). Some brand filters simply indicate which side goes up (like the OEM Toyota filters) but most have arrows that indicate air flow direction which is downward.
Whenever a cabin air filter is mounted horizontally with the blower motor mounted below the filter, the air flow is down regardless of what make and model vehicle it is.
