Looks like a solid car with good functionality and a pretty good app. Give xpeng 3-4 more years and i think they will be one of the best ev makers in the world. It also drives and feels really good so you get the whole package with this car.

This the type of parking i prefer, millimetric to the kerb. the speed and confidence is impressive. For the cruise control problem in curves, for me is not a problem because the car enhance comfort limiting the Gs, to reduce the rollercoaster effect. Sometimes i don't feel safe with some cc that doesn´t slow down a bit in curves.
i was at Hafjell and lillehammer same weekend with my son, but we skipped "lilleputland" since my son is 23 :D we also ate at Egon in lillehammer.....Incredible weather that weekend 😀 When charging at Esso friday i saw the volvo CX90 EV testcar charging as well
I am switching from my Entaq (great car, but it’s time to swap) to a G6 performance very soon. Seems like most of the issues with it is software and they are most certainly quicker than V.A.G to update 😅
Owner of g9 here, Xpeng provides a lot of updates, I feel like they listen to client base as well. Software might need some minor improvement here and there but honestly best car I’ve driven so far.
For me its either the G6 or Juniper. I forecasted how the MY would improve based on the Highland, drove M3, MY, Highland and G6. Pros and cons to each but i chose G6
If I were to choose a G6 it would have to the auto parking, v2l, stalk and hud over the frunk and bigger boot space. I am in the dilemma now. Unless juniper has something different I am definitely moving

Do you know how important lidar is for future autonom drivning? In China the g6 has the lidar system in the EU not. Is it possible to get into the car latter?
When the car slows down in a corner, you can press the accelerator to keep your speed. LCC will do the corner anyway and this way you don't have to disengage/reengage.

Non-locals, be aware that the Lilleputthammer amusement park is not actually in the town of Lillehammer, it can be found at Øyer more than 15 kms further north, so make sure you charge for that.
I test drove this car and immediately felt nauseated. Car is very "soft" and floaty, and the passengers in the back where feeling even worse. I think the chassis requires some good refinements, but otherwise, really good car

I'm not Bjorn, obviously xD But I test drove G6 and then MY right after each other. If you don't care about the logo, get the G6. G6 is the more comfortable ride, charges faster, quieter, ventilated seats, nicer interior and feels a little bigger.
With some improvement in the tech Xpeng may do well against BYD. They just need to control build and operating costs so that they make a profit. I'm sure their pockets are not as deep as Lucid( Seems evey car Lucid sells they pay their CEO $150,000. BONUS, but only sell for $100,000. ) making a profit soon is imperative. Like Ford they could buy a Tesla, give it too their customer for FREE and they would lose LESS MONEY per car than they do now. Prototype is easy volume profitable construction is difficult to nearly impossible.
MY is coupe with hard plastic Camry feel. Es6 is an SUV with a more luxury feel. The Onvo L60 is Nios MY competitor coming to Europe soon. Should beat in a lot of specs.

If Chinese people are smart - and I am sure they are - they will work with our data as Tesla, Google, Amazon and many others do as well. Where ever the servers are, they will use the data sent. So Björn is right and car owners should know that companies are working with data unless there is an explicit option to deny.
Why do you want all this annoying tech in a car? Whatever happened to use your own brain, eyes and common sense. If I want to navigate we already have a phone.

Still, I liked the Neo EL6 better for some reason hehe. I tested that car the same day. And Tesla model Y too, that one is a hard pass...

Tesla uses SAE measurement standard (all the way to roof) to measure volume but most other manufacturers use VDA (all the way to parcel shelf).
