Just made the pumpkin pancake bake and needed to say it is my absolute FAVORITE breakfast and since I LOVE breakfast, this is saying a lot! I served it with turkey sausage and blueberries and of course topped it with sugar free syrup and good Lord, DELICIOUS! No more crying over not being able to go to my favorite cafe for breakfast because I can do this at home. SO good!!
Hi Kristi. I alway love ur pancake bakes ( as well as ur other recipes..... but pumpkin anything is my favorite! Thank you for being you. My Covid results came in negative ! I’m 70 with underlying conditions, so I thank you for ur prayer. God bless you and ur family❤️
Everything looks yummy you are so organized! I love meal prepping it’s so easy to over eat if you don’t have something ready right away when you’re hungry. That’s why I think meal prepping is great, you can just grab it and heat it up! Thank you for your videos! And your music always puts me in a good mood! 💃🏼💃🏼
I TOTALLY agree with everything you said!! It is soooo easy to overeat if you aren't prepared. And half the time I'll stand there wasting electricity with my fridge door open, as if I don't know what's in there! 🤣🤣 I'm glad you like the music. I honestly think I spend as much time trying to find music than I do with actually editing! I just scroll through the music clips until one sounds good. LOL
I look forward to your videos every week! Thank you for inspiring me to keep eating healthy! I am down 10lbs so far. It's coming off really slow but I'm not going to give up! BTW I love your new music!
Thanks so much, Amy!! And congrats on the weight loss!!! Thank you!! I still have some videos coming out with the old music, but I'm trying to convert everything. I really need to update my whole intro soon! LOL
I was curious about meal prepping for 1 such as breakfast, lunches, and snacks since my kids are in school during those times. My girls, 13 and 17, are soo excited for my dinners and love eating more veggies! They were raised this way so it is all they've ever known. I just get in a rut for myself and often don't even eat. Being in nursing school, I KNOW that's not healthy and I need to prep so this doesn't happen. I just get depressed when they aren't home. 😥 I am on MyWW Blue. I LOVE your videos and thank you for sharing!! You always do an incredible job!
Thank you so much, Michelle!! You could always scale back the recipe a little instead of making six as well. That way if you skipped a day or something got moved around, you'd still be good. When I do mine, I do three for my husband and three for me, and I almost always don't eat my breakfast or lunch at least one day so it gets bumped to another. That's great your girls like their veggies!! Try to keep yourself occupied when they aren't home. When you plan your meals, also plan your days for the times you will be there without them. Plan a walk, a good book, something for YOU!! :)
Thank you for such great videos, this has helped me stay on track. Even my hubby loves the meals and I love the simplicity of pulling it out heating it up. Less eating out cause I don’t feel like cooking. Great variety too, I don’t feel like it’s dieting.
Awesome!!! Love hearing things like this! So glad you are getting value out of my videos! Thanks so much! I totally agree with you - I never look at how I eat like I'm on a diet. We're just learning to make better choices. 😀
I learned from Kim @ A Girl and Her Phone to get a list of weights for dishes I regularly use. When I lunch prep fried rice or egg roll in a bowl, I usually make homemade egg drop soup. It is very easy and I put it in small mason jars with plastic lids.
Thanks Michelle! Great minds think alike! I actually started using my marker that goes to my dry erase board probably the week or two after this prep. It works PERFECT! Stays on but washes off super easy! :)
This video was so awesome! I just watched it and drooled the whole time! The recipes look delicious and easy to make. Thank you again for the ideas and inspiration to stay on track with our weight loss goals!
Great meal Prep Kristi. I bought some of those bags holders after I saw them on your vlog for my husband for when he meal preps his chicken breast for breakfast taco's to freeze and he loves them. I also bought one of those things you use to fry up hamburger or turkey that has the 4 sides (not sure how to explain that) and I love that !!
You knocked it out of the park! That pancake bake and chicken fried rice will be on my menu for next week! I’ve been having trouble lately sticking with the plan- I did have my birthday, so I splurged. Hopefully back on plan completely now!
Thanks so much, Christine!! It's been a rough year for sure. I got right back on track after Daytona, but then we had a little cookout on Monday, so I did eat some salad that day, but I don't think it was too bad. It just seems like there are lots of splurging events this year, huh?? LOL We need to finish the year out strong!! :)
Awesome meal prep again. Have to try the pumpkin bake for sure. I do a similar thing with my weighing out portions. I have a master list of all the weights of my pots, pans, baking dishes and bowls in one of my cupboards so whatever I cook in I know how much it weighs. Takes the extra step out of pouring it into a bowl.
Breakfast, lunch and snacks for next 3 days meal prepped. Breakfast: instant oats (3), banana Lunch: tuna(0),boiled eggs(0),sugar free pickles(0), grape tomatoes(0), grapes(0), cottage cheese(3), pretzels(3) Snack: apple(0), peanut butter(6) Thank you for helping with my motivation
I love your new intro music! The meal prep was great as usual. I am definitely going to make the pumpkin bake and chicken fried rice for meal prep. Looks so yummy!!!
Loving the pumpkin bars.. I love them all and make them regularly. YUM! Thank you!. I tried tweaking it a little to make them even lower sp for the purple : -) I used 1/2 cup of the Kodiak and 1 1/2 cups of oatmeal, still tasted great. Chicken fried rice looks wonderful. Have a great week!
Another great meal prep in the books! Thanks for the comment on only doing the parts you can. I like to cut up fruit and double a breakfast recipe for our family. Probably will make the chicken fried rice for lunches. Love your recipes and menu plans.
Thanks so much, Sue! Yes, I like to mention that occasionally because I don't want people to get the wrong impression that to meal prep, it has to be huge because it doesn't. This is just what works for me, but like you say, just cutting up fruit and doubling a breakfast is definitely meal prepping!! I did end up adding more vegetables to my lunch today. Thanks for your kind words! :)
Wish I had refrigerator space to hold what you have but I also need to start small like you said. Question why do you use velveeta cheese? Can't wait to try the recipes. Thank you.
Yes, start small is best! I just have a normal sized refrigerator. I just clean it out good on Saturdays to make room for Sundays. :) Velveeta was always just a personal choice and was my favorite. It has fewer points in it than most cheeses. However, it's probably the most processed of them all too, unfortunately. I have recently realized that I was eating way too much cheese and it seemed to start with Velveeta. So, over the past almost two weeks, I have not had any Velveeta to see if I can tame my cheese addiction. :)
Made the pumpkin pancake bake, OMG so good, tastes like pumpkin pie !! I did use skim milk and points came out the same, Also made the fried rice, i did double veggies and added sugar snap peas, just needed a little more soy sauce :) So im set for lunches and fried rice this week! Thanks Kristi, great recipes
GREAT!!! So glad you're enjoying everything!! Sounds like you might like the lunch I made this week which is a teriyaki chicken casserole. This one isn't my recipe, but it's really good. I'm working on editing the meal prep video now. :)
Hi my friend... I love all of these recipes. Today, I am prepping your breakfast and lunch for this week and making Salmon tonight for dinner 💜🤗🤗 yummo😋 can not wait to try the chicken fried rice.
I’m a great fan of the pancake bakes and have introduced other members of my WW meeting to them with great success. I also like having the same breakfast and/or lunch 2-3 days in a row. There’s something very comforting in having done the preparation and only having to serve it up.
So glad you like the pancake bakes Tonia! I actually used to prep different things for each day when I started prepping, but I found that I would like something so much and wish I had more! This week with the pumpkin bake, after I had it the third day, I was so upset I didn't have another one the next morning. LOL
I dont mean to be offtopic but does anybody know a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me!
@Lewis Oliver Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Aww. Of course you’re welcome and I can’t wait for you to mix that PB2 with Cocoa into you PB overnight oats. Next level for us chocolate lovers. What cha goin’ do with that leftover pumpkin in that can, Kristi? Overnight pumpkin oats?? It makes me crazy to use only a partial can because I have good intentions to use it up but then I never do. And that makes me sad. I can’t wait to make the pumpkin bake and the Chicken Fried Rice. Thanks again for the great ideas!
😊😊 And Ohhhhh, don't I know what you mean!! The half can of pumpkin still sits in my fride!! Grrr.....I thought about making the pumpkin bars, but I just can't be doing that yet, not after overeating in Daytona!! LOL I wonder if you can freeze that (??)
Maple Grove is the only one they have here!! I would like to try Mrs. Butterworth or Log Cabin!! That pumpkin bake would be great with a streusel topping for dessert!! Wondering...would a white board marker be easier to get off your bags? Just curious.
I like the Log Cabin kind too! There was only one kind I've had that I didn't care for - it was really watery - can't remember the name of it though. I think Cary's or something. Yes, streussel topping! Yum! And I was actually thinking of that myself! I think I have a whiteboard marker somewhere. I may try it tomorrow! :)
Looks great. Have you ever froze the pancake bake slices. My hubby is a toast and jam breakfast guy so eating all the bake is hard for one person. I’m anxious to try the pumpkin bake.
Hi Marilyn! I, myself, have not tried freezing them. However, I do know someone who does freeze them and she says they freeze well. She freezes them individually and then takes one piece out the night before she eats it. You could also cut the recipe in half as well. :)
I just subscribed. I use itrackbites and on following the carb-conscious, but not tracking much since internment fasting is working for me right now. I love watching your videos while I meal prep. Today I am making sausage/egg/cheese biscuits for my men. turkey sausage/cheese/egg white muffins for me. I want to try to make the pancake bake, have you ever just added the syrup to the mix and then just eat them like a muffin?
Hi Janell and welcome!! Sounds like intermittent fasting is working great for you. I know many people who have great success with that. So happy you're enjoying my videos. No, I've never done the pancake bake as muffins, but that's a great idea!! Let me know how it turns out if you try it!!
I love watching your videos. Where did you get your double ended measuring spoons, I looked in your Amazon store and didn’t see them. Thanks for inspiring us.
Thank you so much!! And you're right! I never added those. I love them! They are magnetic so they stay together in the drawer without those rings that you have to clip and unclip. They are in my storefront now and I also linked them directly in the description box, but here you go: amzn.to/2FbOQXB 😊
Hi Kristi! Meal Prep was on point for this week! I do have a question on the Pumpkin pancake bake. Is it 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar free syrup? That’s what it shows on the website. Your video skipped when it came to the measurements of the syrup. I would love to try it in my meal prep this coming week. Please help 🙏🏾
Hi there! The one on my website is for 1/4 cup of the Maple Grove Farms kind and that adds a point, which makes it the points on the website. But in this video, I actually weighed out 49 ml of the Mrs. Butterworths kind and saved a point - (49 ml is 0 points). But it really depends on how much syrup you like on yours.
I'm actually glad you mentioned that. I think I'm going to change it on my website for just the pumpkin bake without the syrup. Then I can add something saying add "x" amount of syrup for an additional point or something like that. I can see how it could be confusing. Thanks again! :)
Hi there! I'm really not much of a milk drinker, so I just use the almond milk because it's lower in points than milk. There are some recipes that I will use regular milk in though.
Do you always portion your meats before your freeze them in a certain weight? Like are all the chicken breasts 6 oz? The pork chops 5 oz? Also wondering how you get 4 pts for the pudding dessert/snack. When I put all those ingredients in it comes out as 5 on blue
Hi Kelsi! Yes, for the most part, my meats are pre-packaged in 5 or 6-oz pieces. I either buy them that way or when I do my big Sam's Club haul, I portion and package everything. It takes some time, but it's so worth it. I have a video showing that here: ua-cam.com/video/XNKgG8No_nM/v-deo.html And for the dessert/snack, I count 2 points for the pudding cup and then I use 1 point worth of fat-free Cool Whip (23 grams) and 1 point worth of PB2 (13 grams). Sometimes different brands are higher points or sometimes if you put it all in as a recipe, it ups it a point for some reason. I didn't actually build this in the recipe builder, but just counted each item individually. Hope that helps. :)
Wait! There's a pumpkin flavor??? Oh my!! Hmmmm....I would say probably reduce the amount a little bit, although I don't know that there is such a thing as "too much pumpkin flavor". LOL!!
I apologize if you’ve addressed this before, but do you use the dinner prep bags once and then toss them? I see you write on them and wondered if you were able to wipe it off, but tonight you showed that you wrote over the points values on the salmon kits so I’m guessing you can’t wipe the writing off.
Hi Brenda! I reuse the bags. However, I do use permanent marker on them, so to get that off, it takes a little scrubbing with soap and water. I actually didn't notice I had the points wrong until I was filming the ending. So, since I had everything in the bag and couldn't wash it, I just wrote over it. I've actually never tried a dry erase marker on them, but I bet that would work great!
I can find it at my local Walmart or Publix, but I also added an Amazon link in the description box. Just scroll down to where it says items used in this video and it will be the first link. :)
It depends what it is. Sometimes I just put everything on a paper plate and heat it. If I'm using my glass containers, I almost always reheat in those. But with the plastic ones, it just depends if it's something that can easily be put on a paper plate or not.
Hi Laura! Thanks so much! I could definitely work on that. For the steak, I'd have to film my husband - LOL - he cooks the steaks on the grill. I have cooked them inside before though, so maybe I'll find my old recipe I used to do and put a video together for it! :)
I think I missed something in the chicken fried rice. Mine turned out in the recipe builder to be 2 pt per 1/6. The only thing that I put in was zero points except the rice and it was 12 points. What did I miss?
Hi Lisa! I think it depends on the rice you use. I used the Minute Rice brown rice cups and those showed 14 points for all of it. Plus I estimate 1 tsp of the sesame seed oil which was a point. So, yours may very well be just 2 points! :)
It's called "Just the way you are" and it's by Craig Reever featuring Frigga. I had never heard of it before, but I use epidemicsound.com to get my music and when I was searching through songs one day, I came across that and knew I wanted it for my channel intro. The words to it are so great! :)
Hi, Heidi! Yes, but I've been slow in getting back in a normal routine because of a huge project we've got going on at work. I'll be getting more out though! 😊

You should try and use a wet erase marker on your dinner bags. It only erases when it gets wet.
Thanks Michelle! Great minds think alike! I actually started using my marker that goes to my dry erase board probably the week or two after this prep. It works PERFECT! Stays on but washes off super easy! :)

My mouth was watering all during this 😋 ....thanks Kristi ❣️
I have to make sure I have already eaten before I do the editing of my videos!! 🤣🤣🤣
Planning Us Healthy Thank you very much for responding so quickly! I will use 1/4 cup! I have a Sweet
Tooth!! 😂 You’re the best, Kristie!!
@@tmnt838 🤣🤣 My husband always adds more when I try to do enough for just 0 points. LOL Thanks so much!! :)
Everything looks 😋
Thanks Nancy! :)
Do you use almond milk because the points are less or you just prefer taste to milk. Great video! Thanks for taking the time for us 😊Joann
I have the pumpkin flavor of Kodiak mix. Do you think I should reduce the amount of canned pumpkin?
Wait! There's a pumpkin flavor??? Oh my!! Hmmmm....I would say probably reduce the amount a little bit, although I don't know that there is such a thing as "too much pumpkin flavor". LOL!!
Planning Us Healthy I got it at Target. ☺️
@@debkorn66 I haven't been to Target in forever!
@@PlanningUsHealthy thank you! I’m glad to know you reuse them and are able to get the writing off with a little elbow grease. Hahahaha.
Tried dry erase marker this week!! Wotks PERFECT!!!
We’re do u get the brown sugar at
I can find it at my local Walmart or Publix, but I also added an Amazon link in the description box. Just scroll down to where it says items used in this video and it will be the first link. :)
Could you use Braggs Liquid Amminos instead?
I actually never heard of that and had to look it up. Says you can use in place of soy sauce, so I would think you could use it. 😁
Do you reheat in the same containers?
It depends what it is. Sometimes I just put everything on a paper plate and heat it. If I'm using my glass containers, I almost always reheat in those. But with the plastic ones, it just depends if it's something that can easily be put on a paper plate or not.
Love your show ...
Can you please do a steak 🥩 dinner
Ahhhhh!!!!!😁❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
🥰🥰🥰
I like the song in your intro what is the name of it? And who sings it?
It's called "Just the way you are" and it's by Craig Reever featuring Frigga. I had never heard of it before, but I use epidemicsound.com to get my music and when I was searching through songs one day, I came across that and knew I wanted it for my channel intro. The words to it are so great! :)
Planning Us Healthy thank you! Loving your videos!! Very helpful.
@@lovindatJoan So glad!! Let me know if I can help with anything 😁
breakfast fried rice is good. Instead of chicken you use breakfast meat. I use bacon, sausage and ham.
Oh, that sounds great!! I've never heard of that before!! I will have to try it! :)
R u still doing videos?
Hi, Heidi! Yes, but I've been slow in getting back in a normal routine because of a huge project we've got going on at work. I'll be getting more out though! 😊
