You are the absolute best! I had an eating disorder for many years and cooking has always been a super sensitive topic for me because of it; I’d have anxiety attacks at the grocery store and to this day can still feel it bubble up despite not actively having one anymore. But you’ve laid out everything so nicely and calmly, and it makes me feel like I can actually do this. Thank you so much. 🤍
Thank you so much for your comment. It's comments like this that make it so worth sharing what I share. If I can help just one person, it's worth it, but to help at the level you've described makes me so incredibly happy!! You absolutely can do this!! Just don't overwhelm yourself. There are times where I sometimes just get overwhelmed and have to back off and do something simple. And that's okay. I can't wait to hear your amazing cooking stories!! 💕
Love the simplicity of your planning. Makes the week go smoothly on track w/food. I buy food but often never use it bc I didnt plan. I will use your great ideas to improve my meal planning. Thanks!
Thanks so much for sharing! I am learning how to organize myself to follow the New WW program. I liked the idea of keeping all the recipes on a 3ring binder. Thanks again.

Hope you like them! Make sure to see my note on the soy sauce - way too much. Definitely back it down and maybe even increase the water, and use low-sodium. Breakfast was excellent though! No tweaking required! :)
Yes, purple has a good week this week!! Just make sure you use the low sodium kind of soy sauce, and I would back off the amount too. I'd say maybe use half and half soy sauce and water (3/4 cup of each) - unless you really like the strong soy sauce flavor.

I made the french toast muffins. I really enjoyed them but mine seemed to sink after they were baked and they stuck to the liner a little and the bottom was a little too much eggs. But I reread the directions and I didn't let me bread dry out first and it was pretty thin but they were good. I will try again. I also made the chicken teriyaki recipe. I wonder why they did that. I think maybe the thickness of the bread might make a difference. I, myself, didn't let the bread dry out, but I used the thicker bread, so maybe that's why. I'm so glad to hear the chicken teriyaki recipe came out better with using less soy sauce - more veggies is good too!! Honestly, if I were to make that for dinner, I wouldn't pair it with anything since it is pretty well rounded. You could maybe add some more chicken to it to make it a little heartier. Or make some low-point soft rolls to go on the side! Sometimes I get the little slider buns and toast them and use spray butter and garlic powder to go with some of my dinners.

Mmmmhm terriyaki chicken looks good, definetly gonna try that, i only use low sodim soy sauce but it looked like a lot of soy sauce..Maybe not the soy sauce back to 1 cup do u think?
Yes! Totally agree! I plan on mentioning that in my weigh-in/meal prep review video - that I'll definitely use low sodium and less soy sauce. My husband wasn't a fan of all the soy sauce flavor. And you know - I just got thinking - in the original recipe, it called for 4-1/2 cups of rice, whereas I only used 3 cups! So, had I used more rice, that would have soaked up more of the soy sauce too!
@@bonnyefusco5979 I thought it was dark too!! I wonder if you're right about that! It definitely seemed much more thick than I'm used to. It was still good to me, but I'll definitely back off the soy sauce next time!
That casserole is different than what I thought and I’m currently trying purple so I can’t believe that’s 6 points for the whole pan! Definitely gonna try (I won’t eat the whole pan lol) what’s your username or email on fitbit?

They are delicious!! The points don't equate to calories equally because it just depends on how much fat, fiber, protein, sugar, etc are in those calories. So, in other words, a 100-calorie pack of cookies would be more points than a 100-calorie pack of fruit. 100 calories of chicken breast is zero points, whereas 100 calories of chips is probably 2 or 3 points. That's why I always share the recipe just in case someone isn't following WW. According to this recipe on the website, these are 84 calories for each muffin. :)
Thank you for describing that to me. I was just wondering how many calories the bread is per slice. Icannot find sugar free or the ole wraps here. So what is a good calorie per slice and wrap that you would suggest
@@katherinegibson5017 Ohhhh, sorry..misunderstood. That bread is 50 calories, if you're just counting calories. So, maybe see what breads you have in your area that is 50 calories per slice. :)
I bet you could cut points and use pineapple chunks with natural.juice or even crushed (not sure on the crush) bragg's aminos taste like soy and that is 0 points. Just an idea
You don't have to, no. I usually have mine in a tightly vacuum-sealed bag now, and normally I just pull it out of the freezer before I meal prep, so there's not usually enough room for me to keep it in the bag. So, when I put them in my fridge, I just put them right near the bag. If I have a bag that is not vacuum sealed though, I will definitely leave it out of the bag when it goes in the fridge.
I make this same chicken teriyaki recipe but when I click the link I have it is different measurements than the one you have and it’s the same website...so weird! The version of the recipe I use only calls for 3/4 cup of low sodium soy sauce, 12 oz. of veggies and 3 cups of white or brown rice. It also calls for 2T of water and 2T of cornstarch. Using the low sodium soy sauce I think makes a big difference. I make this at least twice a month because my husband loves it so much! I think if you tweak the sauce a little bit it will be a lot better next time. Here is the link for the version of this recipe that I found on Pinterest! life-in-the-lofthouse.com/teriyaki-chicken-casserole/
Hi there! You're correct. It is the same recipe, but I had to adjust her recipe because I was making 6 servings instead of her 4. When I adjusted it on her website, it gave odd amounts, so I just rounded. I do think I probably just needed more water. As far as the rice, when I upped the servings to 6, that's when it gave 4.5 cups. But I just went with the 3 cups even for my 6 servings. Hope that made sense. LOL
