@@nadiaquerengasser1819 I would say a few different tricks helped to create the mist without brush strokes. First I made sure to create a well covered, well blended base coat of white fading to green/gray/black using a large flat brush. I used different values of watered down acrylic for the trees working from top to base. As the tree is created the amount of product on the brush would become less and nicely gradient into the fog base coat. Then over this for extra depth, I blended more cloud effect at the base of the trees using my fingers (the more blending the better)! I hope this helps!
i have a little recessed shelf that ive been dying to do a little forest mural on and this was really helpful! i have loads of photo references but transferring to a wall is so intimidating and this vid helped me just kind of see it in a larger scale :) if you make a tutorial let me know what you used to help slow down drying time because otherwise ill never be able to blend! ahahaha
Thank you! I used black, white and green acrylic paints, and a 4" flat brush for all. You could also use a fan brush for the tree bristles but I found that the flat brush did the trick.
@@alexandrachem1192 Would love to see about twenty or thirty minutes of this video in real time to watch your technique. I could watch this for hours. ♡
Awesome job. How long did it take and have you done many wall murals prior to this? Just bought a new house so I’m considering doing some wall murals but don’t know if I’ll have time
Hi i love what you did here , and i am wanting to create this in my bedroom , can i ask you , did you use 1 color , for the first stage ? Just watered down ? Where you created the misty look ? Or are there more colors in there ? Thx for the video . This is exactly what i was looking for .

@@alexandrachem1192 what's the best brand acrylic for walls? Do you prep the acrylic / mix with any medium or it's just straight up acrylic paint on the wall?
@@AGirlNamedElle Hello Elenita! I just used the Liquitex basics line. It's all you need, nothing fancy. And no medium required. I only watered down the acrylic when blending and making the trees!
I wish I could say this was informative but it was t I really wanted to see how you mix colours and your painting techniques but this was like 400mile speed forwarded lol

How did you make the misty effect without obviously seeing the brush strokes? Did you just dapple the paint?
Thank you!

Thank you! It took roughly 15 hours to complete, and this is my third mural. I’ve also completed a 8’ x 10’ roaring lion and a 7’ x 11’ hippopotamus.
Nice
Did you ever do a tutorial on how to do this type of mural?
Did you use regular wall paint or acrylic?
Also could you tell me what colors you used
Did you have a photo you were referencing?
Yes! I had a few different reference photos
Нужно со стороны света положить светло-зеленые и желтые мазки
