Anquan Boldin, Hines Ward and Steve Smith are the toughest WRs to play in the last 20 years.
Absolute legends
Andre Johnson?
Joshua Soto ohhhhh shit him too
What about Randy Moss also? He is an honorable mention imo
Julian Edelman is pretty underrated
I think if Larry played with a good QB his whole carrier he would be the best WR of all time
His QBs haven’t been terrible for the most part.
Meditation Mayham Kurt Warner, Carson Palmer. You could say Kyler but it’s too early to say
@@meditationmayham3590 he has only had 3 good QBs his entire career and Carson Palmer was only good for a year.
@Angry Monkey95 I agree I think Fitz hasn’t had a good QB in some time
Bro his QBs weren't horrible Kurt Warner who's already a HOF and Carson palmer who always been an above average qb in the league
If you wanna talk about hands and strength. Anquan is the epitome of it
As a lifelong Seahawks fan I remember Boldin very well. I hated seeing him dominate the Hawks nearly every game, but I respected his skills. Man basically never dropped the ball.
I had no idea he was in the league before Fitzgerald, it kinda just feels like Larry has been in the NFL forever
He has been. Larry legend is to football what Betty white is to life. It's just an excepted thing both of them will be here forever
@@warrenward6294 yeah, the way I thought Michael Jackson would
I sweaaa
I think the fact he chose Baltimore shows he knew the amount of love the city had for him. Everyone in Baltimore knows we would not have won a super bowl without Q. Still my favorite Bmore Wr (next is Steve Smith)
I’m a 49ers but he came up big for the ravens in the super bowl when the 49ers were coming back. He played for my FSU Seminoles and was glad when 49ers signed after the super bowl. He almost helped us win.
Two players with only a few years combined. True, both are hungry gamers which makes fan favorites. I'm trying to think whos doing this nowba days
This man was an absolute tank, he was always consistent as I remember, always a solid wide receiver but I kind of forgot about him.
I don’t see how, I don’t see how this video even was made lol everybody knows boldin is a goon and he got a super bowl under his belt
He was a tank and he got a ring😈
Agree. Ravens got him for physicality vs Steelers & he helped the Ravens get a Super Bowl ring.
Everybody did, once larry came, and he left, it was the larry show
@@E3litecompany big facts!
Anquan was cold, If we’re talking overshadowed: We gotta bring up Marques Colston!! Please do a what happened to on the best to never make a pro bowl
Facts!!! I never forgot about that dude but always wondered what happened to him
I don't understand when Colston left Saints why no one picked him up?!🥴 He retired way to early because of that
@@isaz597 he relied on drew too much
@@shinski8114 I mean the same thing could be said about Michael Thomas now
Facts !!!
At least he’s got a ring before he retired.
Noooo
He deserved that joint.
“Raymundo Lewis the third” bruh I’m dead
The_Real_Zillo that’s not what that says....lmfaoooo
@@matthewcrane5294 yes it is
Yes! One of my favorite players to watch of all time. Dude was a beast. Hall of famer for sure.
Anquan Boldin knows how to make a first impression:
1st game with Cards: 10 Catches 217 yards 2 tds
1st game with Ravens: 7 catches 112 yards
1st game with 49ers: 13 catches 208 yards 1 td
1st game with Lions: 3 catches 35 yards but moved ahead of Andre Reed in receiving yards.
Very good at making first impressions.
If you want a better Lions first impression, his first game with the Cardinals was in Detroit. As a Lions fan I was super impressed and I followed him his whole career. Even his last year in Detroit he was very clutch for us and I think he was 2nd on the team in TD catches.
1st game with the Bills - RETIRED
didn't know
@@KCWDigitalMedia still memorable.
My cardinals lost their mind when they let bolden go. Dumbest decision for us ever
I felt the same way when my Ravens traded him to the 49ers. He was a beast.
@Jonah Falcon Yea, he was ready to get paid instead of making a contract that would allow to keep talent around.
I'm from Illinois and a Bears fan....but the Fitz, Bolden and Warner Cards is my favorite football team of all time...and it's not even close. They even had some cool as hell players on defense! Adrian Wilson is one of my favorite safeties of all time Rolle and DRC! God I loved that team so much.
Caleb O'Donnell we could of went back to the Super Bowl. Instead of letting stars go we should have build around what we had
my cardinals often make decisions like this. its part of the reason we are perpetually bad. like why did we let calais campbell go for a 5th round pick? shit like that is why its hard to be a fan of this team.
Cards really had Kurt Warner, Edgerrin James, Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald on one side of the ball. Not to mention good ass role players (shout out Steve Breaston and Tim Hightower) Shouldve won that ring smh
They really should've. If you rewatch Santonio Holmes' TD "catch," you will notice that he only had one foot down on the ground. The refs blew the call that ended up being the game winning TD. The Cardinals really should've won the ring.
Beanie Wells would have done it alone.
The defense though, our best defender was Adrian Wilson, after that we had Karlos Dansby, a non-existent pass rush, and rookie DRC.
To this day no one will tell me that Holmes TD was a catch. IDGAF.
@@yankeeshater wouldn’t be the first ring the refs handed to the Steelers. Did it in 05 too
That time at QB set him up perfectly to read defenses and coverages. He was a force.
I see the NFL having Anquan and Fitz inducted in the same year. It would be a great story.
That'd be too soon for boldin no ? Considering Fitz is 100% first ballot
@@GO-wb1gf Anquan was drafted first. If Fitz would be eligible, so would Anquan.
@@Shinbu1128 I love Anquan but I doubt he goes in so soon even tho I believe he should be in within the next 10 years
Right. Fits is a beast too. They have great personalities too amongst their teammates
I always remember Boldin was a beast. I feel he was highly underrated he was good at what he did. Flem will you ever do a vid on underrated players you think should belong in either the HOF or Ring of honors for teams?
Boldin was a DAWG, ain’t no CB want any of that when he caught the ball. Bro was a whole powerback after the catch
Yeah, it was like beast mode playing wideout.
What you said 💯
Who was sleeping on anquan tho? I thought everyone knew he was a beast...
Im puzzled
@@Dandre181 same 😂
Growing up in Tallahassee I gotta say it was so much fun watching him play at Doak, you could see the potential he carried and was always a threat to go off when healthy.
Yea i loved watching him play at Doak.
One of the most under appreciated WRs, this dude was consistent, durable , and put up numbers. He deserves to be in the HOF
Anquan boldin was the man in madden him and Fitzgerald were dangerous
For real
Madden 11 was cheap with them
@@matthiaskirby7654 which one I played mostly ncaa
@@matthiaskirby7654 madden 10 was when ppl started to get nerfed on ps2
Aye Flem do Marques Colston next, the most criminally underrated receiver there is
Nah, Roddy White was super underrated as well, plus his career stats are better and he was like the Boldin to Julio Jones
@@aaronrhodes7268 he already did roddy white bro
@@steven8834 Yeah but you were talking about underrated receivers, not ones he hasn’t done yet. I think Roddy was more underrated than Marques and I’m a saints/cardinals fan
@@aaronrhodes7268 my guy, read the comment. I clearly said “flem do Marques colston next”
As a Ravens fan, always gonna love Q, he was an absolute monster of YAC receiver that helped us get another title. Love the vid!
Anquan Boldin and Derrick Mason man... Two of the toughest and most underappreciated receivers in the history of the game
Yet the Ravens were too cheap to keep him for some reason, he is literally the reason they won the super bowl that year.
I'm a STEELERS fan , now that he retired I respect him even more! He used to drive me to abuse my furniture! Also cool as hell he retired a RAVEN! My respect to Q & the Ravens!
CZECH MATE good luck to the y’all this season it’s gonna be exciting seeing the ravens vs Steelers
BmoreAkuma definitely wasn’t the main reason we won lmao. But he did help tremendously. I’d say joe flacco was the reason we won. Led us on one of the greatest postseasons of all time
One of the strongest wide receivers I ever seen dude straight up was fearless!
You mean Anquan “just throw it up into triple coverage and I’ll catch it, flaco” Boldin?
.u b
Hey he even made Flaky Flacco look good. That's damn impressive
Yeah, lead him into that nasty hit. Shane Falco sucks. I have said it many times over. If the Ravens had a real quarterback they would have beat my Steelers more often. Go back to some of those playoff games.
Falco, 3 and 5 throws it in the ground. Many times.
This is facts Flem. Anquan was always super underrated man. Such a good player in every facet of the game, him and Larry were the duo. Wish they won it all in Arizona
one of my fav Reciever's to watch when I was growing up, dude was the definition of a Bowling Ball, he just bounced off dudes like it was nothing
Facts I'm from Pahokee seeing him play in high school, college, and the pros was exciting, Q is one of the coolest and realist dudes
Shoutout to you Flem. I found your channel because I love NCAA 14, and started watching your Rutgers series. I appreciated your humor, skill at the game and storytelling ever since. It’s just good to see another black man build something from the ground up. Keep it goin bro
say it again ‼️🗣
Bro same Rutgers all the way
Anquan was a fun receiver to watch dude was an absolute beast. Another great video Flem Ali Raps. Keep up the good work man.
No joke, he was my favorite player. Underrated hands. Always caught away from his body but everyone just focused on his physicality. I remember watching nfl films back in the day with Emmitt Smith praising in his rookie season.
Yo Flemlo why your on the Cardinals don't forget my boy Adrian Wilson a forgotten beast !
Dude use to hit so dam hard
Hell yeah
Or the first round wide receiver pick. I think his name was Johnson
And Jake Plummer
@Kyle Snyder Bryant Johnson. He was the guy drafted first round buy Arizona Cardinals the same year Anquan Boldin was drafted
Retired and now he's doin his activist thing. Shot out to the 561 legend!!!
Aye flemo thank you for making these videos your videos always distract me from my depression whennit hits. Keep doing what you do man dont know how much it helps me thru dark moments while posted up alone.
As a die hard cards fan thank you for this !!
At least he got a ring he so underrated he got the stats, records, and a ring he an HOF if you ask me
I remember watching Larry Fitzgerald's A Football Life documentary, and he was kinda cocky, then Kurt Warner said he wasn't even the number 1 wide out on the team, and I always thought it was weird that Larry Fitzgerald, one the best of All-Time, wasn't the number 1 on the team. Keep up the good work FlemLo
I though Fitzgerald was a nice humble guy?
@@afterlife6821 me too because I never heard about him off the Field
@Mason Kinter, he is, but I believe it was after his mother died, that he became the version of Larry we love
Yeah I remembered how Larry explained that Kurt told him he could only do one thing but could be much better
It was motivation because he knew that he wasn't putting in the work and only relying on athleticism/talent Kurt knew Larry was the best on the team and so did Larry. Larry wanted to earn that respect though
When Fitz & Quan were together...freaking beautiful to watch.
If I was to ever play in the NFL, i would have wanted to match the style of Anquan! Mega underrated
Great video man!!! I’m high as a fly and saw this channel and as a huge football fan I appreciate all of your hard work. Thank you and keep it up!
I remember in madden 10 I would always trade for him and make him my running back. Calling him a beast would be an understatement. He was almost unfair and that was before he started getting better.
Legit every football player on a team are homies and are like brothers honestly like u get so used to them sometimes you’ll start caring for them or all the time it’d amazing
As a niners fan I always loved Boldin’s game even before he became a niner, deebo Samuel remind me so much of Boldin 💯 Boldin was a true dawg !
Deebo basically him but faster.
Yanik Gonzalez facts
Did you like him in that Ravens niners Superbowl?
Jacabo Blanco obviously I didn’t want him to have the best game 🤷🏻♂️
Anquan’s first game in Detroit is one of my favorite all time
Flem, can you do what happened to my father next bro? Been subscribed since day 1
Who's your dad
Lol, that's funny but sad. I'm sorry.
Lol good shit
ima always be an anquon fan since he was in baltimore, dude was a beast and a big part of the super bowl, i also respect him and torrey smith for their off the field work, great athletes using their platform
Him Hines ward andre Johnson and Steve Smith the most physical wrs I've ever seen
Randy Moss?
Randy Moss was a 6'4 deep threat
@@dantelawson6626 Eh, he was powerful in the sense that he could rip the ball straight from your hands and then run though you. He was a good deep threat cause of his size and his abilities.
No lie. Especially Steve smith and andre
@@MichaelJohnson-yu8vj Steve Smith was the man, I would always love watching him play, he was that one dude who you loved watching when you're favorite team wasn't playing them and the one dude you absolutely hated when he was killing you're team.
Great vid. Have mad respect for Anquans work ethic and toughness
Yeah bro till this day haven’t seen another receiver like him and we probably won’t
DK Metcalf is Boldin but better...Watch
Tye Tedlock nah he slow
He ran a faster 40 than Boldin you dipstick
Tye Tedlock Oh we will see alright

Anquan was a great possession receiver. He and Hines Ward revived that role. Both great teammates as well. Great vid, I didn't know about his face. Holy S
Hell yeah! Thanks for covering Anquan Boldin, FlemLo! Warner to Fitz and Boldin was amazing to play with in Madden and also to see in real life.
Just saw this video for the 1st time. Love thr fact that you not only use a Ra's Al Ghul referemce, but you pronunced it correctly. Props!!!
"Bout a Popeyes biscuit away from being a tight end."
😂
“Throw it in the air and catch a bomb like Anquan”
Flemo I’ve learned so much about certain players that I questioned where they went. Thank you for telling us these amazing stories! Much love!🔥💯
I'm an Arizona Cardinals fan n live in NJ n was at the game when he broke his face... as soon as Warner threw the ball I jumped outta my seat n literally screamed "NOOOOO!!!" bc I saw 3 defenders closing in on him real fast... the sound that hit made was ridiculous... watching the replay doesn't do it justice, the man got slammed
Behind Fitzgerald, Boldin is my 2nd favorite Cardinals WR. The man was a legend. I was so sad when he eventually left Arizona to go play in Baltimore but it got him a ring so I can't be too pissed.
When you think that flemlo ran out of ideas... Great video btw
I'm glad you made a video on Boldin. He never gets his due, but he was a damn good player.
Awww Flem!!! This jawns gonna be hot!!!! Even tho I’m an Eagles fan I’ve always loved Bolden. Tough as nails!!!
Ya didny have to state you an eagles fan the word jawn did that lol
Matthew Corcoran haha 😂 niiice!!!
Larry and Anquan had 2 different play styles which made them a deadly tandem which meshed well
My favorite WR duo of all time
One of those rare receivers that was looking to break a tackle rather than avoid the defender. Loved the toughness and passion he put into the game and will always be respected by many. 💪
You can have a case that Randy Moss did the same thing but I do agree that he was very underrated.
I will always respect Anquan Boldin.
@@theeunknown3988 I feel like Randy Moss had a much better ability to catch the ball against defenders whether it be jump balls or any contest plays, but Boldin had a better ability to get YAC. Both were fantastic of course. :)
@@MinusLifeTV I agree, Moss was that one dude who could absolutely body defenders without even trying. And of course Anaquan was that one guy who caught it and just trucked you.
@@theeunknown3988 He one-hand caught it past prime Revis with ease, just effortless stuff by Moss. Not a big Pats guy, but man Brady-Moss connection would've been unreal if they stayed together longer.
Overlooked how good his season with the Lions was on that 1 year deal. Didn't have a crazy amount of yards but had 8 TDs and multiple clutch catches throughout the season.
It still pains me when I think about that Super Bowl we where so close and Larry was so close it’s sad knowing he probably won’t get that ring
Your intro is the only one on YT I dont skip
I remember the guys in my fantasy league laughing when I picked him first , .... then when his numbers put me in the super bowl and won it .
How long ago did you win that FSB 😂😂
I remember that play when a Boldin broke his face. I had just flipped to it from the Falcons game right as the ball was snapped. Boldin was one of my favorite WRs
Q from my hometown good stuff 💯
PK!!!!
Jason Miller Yessir you already know 💪🏽
Jason Miller that’s what’s up born n raised in pahokee
Super solid and consistent receiver.. definitely deserves to be in the HOF
He didn’t have hands he had claws he snatched everything in his area
My absolute favorite player ever. I just got an autographed cardinals jersey of his in December. BEASTTTT
according to my research, 20 people can not be first
Fuck you - Woj
Good research.
Boldin is my favorite WR of all time... I followed him at FSU. He reminded me of Jerry Rice
TY SO MUCH!!!
Man was literally Marshawn Lynch playing WR in an alternate universe... Straight up beast. 💪🏽
😩🤣💪🏾
Stop using the word “literally” if you don’t know what it means and how to use it
Tora Chan tell flemlo that
Tora Chan I know you are Chinese so I’ll educate you on the informal meaning of “literally.” It is used for emphasis or to express strong feeling while not being literally true. You can “literally” find this in the dictionary and also in English books.
Heard about what happened with gridiron champions. I hope you get everything situated💯
I'll never forget the Jets game where he got his face smashed. One of the scariest hits ever. Tough as nails.
Seminole, Niner........consistent as hell, not flashy...Just a baller...Meets all my criteria for one of the greats.
He was a beast he played with my team RAVENS! Won his 1st ever ring
And prevented the Niners from winning one! Thanks Ravens!
And prevented my jaguars
Edit:lol Nvrm we just sucked
I followed Anquan's entire football career. From Pahokee to Tallahassee to the NFL. He was tremendously talented and is a better man. He will always be in my top 5 of athletes. Go Noles!!
Flemlo with another banger🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm from arizona and I grew up watch boldin and Fitzgerald it was amazing
I'll always remember how DEVASTATED Kurt warner was after he almost got this man Killed, but showed his toughness and helped bring home a ring in Baltimore
As a lifelong cardinals fan q was the best compliment to Larry we could have asked for. When he came back with his jaw broken was the most respect I ever had for a man in any league toughness wise
The toughest receiver was Austin Collie lmaoo Manning use to throw him ball in coverage and he would be blasted everytime
Maybe that's the reason he only lasted four actual seasons in the NFL
Peyton had a hand in his short career
Imma big colts fan but seriously Peyton was ruthless to that kid
Max Force yeah Manning actually ruined his career had all that talent coming out of college You can see you burst he had and the big play potential and was a nice red zone target. Manning told him if he even doesn’t hold the ball with 2 hands he won’t ever be on the field with me again his rookie year and he use to throw him all these hospital type throws and it was all on purpose clearly
Lmao 😂😂😂 damnnn. I know he got permanent brain damage.
SEMINOLE tread lightly. Anquan beast mode at wide out ...roll tribe!!!!!!
Yeah I Love Him, Andre Johnson & Santana Moss, Good ReceiversThat Don’t Get Talked About As Much
Santana Moss is a stretch. You a Redskins fan ??
As a STEELERS fan Boldin used to drive me to kill my furniture!
When the world is going to hell in a handbasket at least we have FlemLo videos to ease the chaos!
Maybe it's the smooth backround music?
Always loved watching anquan play. Dude was a monster Everytime he stepped on the field regardless of what team he played for. He def was a under the radar type player, which I'll never understand, but I guess it just plays into his style and gave him that chip that lead him to be great.
Although I seen them all already, I rewatched all of your "What happen too videos?"...why?...because there so dope lol
Remember he got his jaw broken vs the jets still came back to finish the season
I love your the reference to the lazarus pit!
I remember looking up this guy’s stats and thinking “HOF vote for me!”
If I had one game to play just one game he was one of the receivers I would take, my man was a beast I loved watching him play. Anquan Boldin, Steve Smith and fresh out the pen Jimmy Smith in that order.
FlemLo thanks for giving Q some love! He and Adrian Wilson are two of my favorite all time Cards players, both top 5 easily. Boldin brought leadership, humbleness and toughness to a skill position that isn't usually known for any of those traits. You mentioned Q getting his jaw broken, but the fact he took NO MEDs and then rebroke it when his kid jumped up into arms straight into his jaw is unreal. He still played that week. Dude was such a baller, great vid FlemLo, thanks!
One of my all-time favorite players.super Happy he got a ring with my B team lol
He's was a beast especially when he played with the Cardinals
He was a Fkn beast the 1 year he played for Detroit.. we loved him here.
Boldin is my all time favorite player on the Cardinals. He was an absolute beast on the field. An awesome dude off the field. Happy he was able to get a ring with the Ravens. He deserved it.
Boldin, was a BEAST in Baltimore, proud he was a RAVEN, because HE PLAYED LIKE A RAVEN!!!!!
