98k with 5 years warranty, 5 years free service include parts and labour, 5 years 24 hours road assist. It certainly offers a lot of after sales promise which give atleast 5 years peace of mind to buyer. My family is considering this car as the new HR-V is not yet launched and the Captur is having better value in price.
Yes, Renault's aftersales package is fantastic. Why their cars aren't doing better despite Malaysians always complaining about aftersales and servicing costs is beyond me.
@@KonWaiLuen Well, Malaysian complain about Brand image from ancient time and resale value more than after sales service I guess? What a product can offer somehow become not a main factor which is unfortunate for some really great car out there.
I am a owner of the 2018 Renault Captur Facelift for 4 months ... the DCT still annoying, especially commuting in traffic jam every single day, but I have to say the Eco Mode in this car effectively reduces the sound and jerkiness from the transmission.. but during reverse this car still jerks like my grandma driving. Just slightly disappointed on the build quality coming from Tan Chong Motors, some plastic/rubber interior started to turned white, and the cheap and thin exterior chrome parts (front/rear Renault logo, side trimmings) are easily stained. The ride is pretty acceptable for short distance driving, and i think if they can refine the DCT would be most welcome. And Renault please learn from Japanese automotive makers, make more compartments, storage and hooks for users to hang their daily groceries.
Hows ur e39 kon? Any update on the wheels? Also what eng oil and coolant are you using? Im also a crazy e39 fan but i have not found enough courage to actually buy one......
New wheels and tyres in ... ua-cam.com/video/gH8Zxa3eVPU/v-deo.html Paresh, E39s now available for cheap. You can get them for RM20k thereabouts. G ZC, pressure nih
I drove one of the previous models when I rented it through GoCar, glad I did not have to pay extra for it as it was an awful car but not as bad as a Ford Ecosport. Much rather the Peugeot 2008 which felt way better to drive and had a cabin that made it feel more premium than the price suggest. The one to beat is still the Toyota CH-R and no, no one ever buys one of these or these type of vehicles for the space.
I won't put the 86 as an exciting car. Personally thought it was a lousy and expensive car for what it is. Benchmarked against the Mazda MX-5 it was night and day. Benchmarked against the Renault Megane RS250 you get way more smiles per RM. Last exciting Toyotas IMHO were the MR2 and Celica. Wonder if it boils down that even Toyota can't produce a car that is good, fast and cheap at the same time?
I rate the 86 highly on its chassis balance and its relative reliability as an enthusiasts' car, but you are right in pointing out that the real great Toyotas came from the MR2 and Celica era.
Renault car are very reliable compare to the car built by PSA. Renault = Nissan, many parts are sharing for both. Also, in France, Renault 50%, Peugeot + Citroen 50%
i saw this in one of the roaadshows , i tell u wat , the plastics are nasty and crude , really low rent interior...doesnt feel any better quality than iriz/persona....and i do admire the iriz/persona quality for their price point as well
I think this car has to be the most awfully spec car to buy..The Interior is rubbish..the ride is a joke.. Renault just tutup kedai la.. If Peugeot can make world class interiors,Renault has no excuses!
And yet, more people buy Renaults than they do Peugeots in Europe. Peugeot's interiors may be funky, but try living with it on a day to day basis. You'll appreciate the simplicity that Renault has in its interior.

Finally! Been waiting this, thanks Kon!
Thanks for watching! Hope it's been helpful!
The very latest Captur is the E6, replacing the E5. The former has better tuning. Renault is also offering a Captur+ package currently.

Now everyone is excited with his E39 updates. I am too. More like anticipating his E39 video.

The CH-R is brilliant to drive. The most interesting Toyota since the 86, but the equipment can't justify the price in my eyes.

Renault Kadjar coming to Malaysia?
No indication on that.

Honda jazz/city use more high quality plastics for interior
I disagree.

So you're saying the plastic quality is acceptable for a 50k car but not on a 100k car. Definitely!
Coming from my 15-year old Bimmer, the cabins of my two Protons now feel solid like a tank. lol.
If the Renault's plastic is "nasty and crude", then I don't know what your definition of good quality.
I am agree..
I see abit of peugeot in the center
Common French influence, I guess.

The ride to me is okay, but the interior definitely can't compare to Peugeot lah.
