Blue at the start be like: "i think i need to AVOID those cannons to win" and starts growing baackwards
That ones blue wire at the bottom that just didn't connect to anything for most of the game.
Blue was like “I think the cannons kill me, but I want to win
4:29 and blue just adjust red’s wire to the canon lmao
Exactly, damn shit.
I mean, red did the same thing...
so what part of my brain is this hijacking that makes me keep watching it? this is visual ASMR or something
This idea is gr8
Hopefully there will be more tree battles in the future
The op thing was the splitters that connected back up basically a x2 marble multiplier
Funny
when was that?
@@sleepybraincells The blue death beam at the bottom, once the splitter connected both lines to it... it was forever on... until it get destroyed
@@aienma6660 thank you
If one of them made a infinite loop
man, blue just did not want to connect unto anything at the start, and once it did it cut itself off by connecting everything into a limited number of cannons. Unlucky.
Blue had a very powerful bottom laser for most of the game, but it was its Achilles' heel since the branches didn't reach out to the dividing nodes. That left blue with limited pathways that wouldn't connect to the useful items. Once the bottom laser was taken out it was gameover.
Blue just had too few "splitters". This one is a little bit deceptive, you'd think the guns are important, but it's the "splitters" that's key since they just double everything exponentially, once the speed picks up, it's over.
Not only that when Blue finally got a cannon it shot red's line which connected to another cannon so red had a cannon thanks to Blue lmao
@@exu7325 totally agree your odds of getting more offensive points faster then your enemy become greater the more nodes you have that double your digging output! Blue had lots of weapons before red but it was reds ability to nab more splitters earlier that let it grow faster.
Literally 3 branches to one laser though, super 😎
You will never expect who will win until there is someone that touches the center part first. Btw, MIKAN, your video once again had made my day.
Red always wins 1v1 battles though.
Never bet against red.
@@alexandredesouza3692 sadly not
@@alexandredesouza3692 well in one of the boss battles red loses in a 1v1
@@alexandredesouza3692 bet
Right side tends to win, also it was easy 2 see reds victory. Blue didn't get any splits early on which really hurt it, makeing red the clear winner.
Late game when it finally got splits the all went to the same 2 weapons leaveing no vines to grow. Those 2 weapons could not do enough dmg to halt reds growth.
It was reds victory from beginning to end
4:16 Red: "Blue, you do know you have to go for the cannons, right? Here, let me help you." *bomb pushes blue line into turret
8:30 Blue: "Hey red, thanks for earlier, let me return the favor!" *knocks red line into core*
that is just sweet of them.
That is what best friends are for… (red destroys blue)
and 2 red lines connect to the core
Very strange why I love marbles going around like a crazy tree
Might I suggest tree battle?
Mmmmmyes a tree
With cannons
I know, right?
Hi saturn ima eat you
This one was very interesting.
Two completely different things happened.
Blue skipped a lot of early connections and got straight to the weapons. It gave them an early advantage. However, Red made a lot of connections in the beginning which made all of their marbles count for more overall.
So long as they could survive the early game it was only a matter of time until they won.
Since blue skipped a lot of early connections and only made it to the weapons on the outside they couldn't really do much else besides shoot.
Meanwhile Red was shooting, defending, and expanding at the same time.
Love the analysis
@@L4v4molly Thank you. These are so interesting. Especially if you think about them as people making choices.
Like it's a game of StarCraft.
One did an early rush (Blue) it gave them a shot of winning quickly. But the other(Red) went eco and planned for the late stage. If Red could defend from the rush, and if Blue didn't capitalize on that early game pressure, it was inevitable that Reds Eco would win.
It has a lot of parallels.
@@BoredTruckn From a physics and mathematics standpoint they are incredibly fascinating.
Tru
Blue's three foremost arms all plugged into one laser. Made it so the laser was shooting almost constantly for a while, but it also meant that no one was free to go for the center.
Imagine if one of the split connection ends connected with the connector it came from
*unlimited power*
I wonder if he made it so it can work
that would be pretty rigged tho
It actually did happen at 7:20 ish before blue destroyed it
@@rbpgamemaster Not quite, it wasn't a loop where one 'packet' would spawn endlessly more, that would require split1 connects to split2 who connects back to split1
Red: constantly jumping on counter for food
Blue bottom laser: *sprays* "no"
Red: "Oh no, anyway"
So I've noticed how multiple branches can connect to each node, but did you do anything to prevent infinite loops? IE, a branch outputting to itself or to a branch that then outputs to the initial branch. I could really see it not being an issue, but I kind of want to see one side luck out and then have an ever-growing branch.
It looks like a branch in that case just will overlap itself and thus won't connect. But that would be a rare outcome to begin with
@@flamingpaper7751 I meant branch as in the branching nodes, not the connections. I do see how that'd be confusing though. :/
@@pennyjim5671 I don't entirely understand this game, but I'm just guessing there's a failsafe to prevent that from happening
@@flamingpaper7751 I'm fairly sure that this is still coded into a physics simulation called Algodoo, and that each 'game' is coded (probably modulalrly) for each video. This being the probable case, there is no need to make the code foolproof. I'm just asking if the obvious corner was cut or if they just 'rerolled' if it ever encountred it.
@@pennyjim5671I'm sure he likely reset the whole simulation if that ever happened too early and the video was unentertaining as a result. One minor difference between both sides creates completely different outcomes, such as making the Left and Right separators at the top switches relative to the center for both red and blue, which makes a very large difference even if they got the exact same marbles shot at the same angle with the same speed on both sides
Can someone please tell me why the hell am I so addicted to these videos all of a sudden???
4:17
Blue: I can't seem to connect this bomb shooter
Red: here, let me help *pushes branch into bomb shooter*
Blue: Tyvm *launches 3 bombs*
Red: *surprised Pikachu face*
The "final raid of death" can be seen in 8:30, at first, it isn't so dangerous, but red's multi branching and fused branches amplified it greatly
So here's what happened. It seemed like Blue had the upper hand throughout most of the fight because they gained more access to weapons. Red's connections were more overreaching. This meant that Red got weapons too but their connections were horizontal as opposed to Blue's, making the former more vulnerable to disconnection. However, red was also in a better connection to get to the central cannon. If you pay close attention, all of blue's connections were towards weapons, meaning that they had little hope of getting to the central cannon.
Another thing which worked in Red's favor was their cannon in the top right corner. Since the closer cannons are shorter range, it was safe from blue's bombardment. The same was not true vice versa since it was long range. Blue did actually have the potential to take the central cannon if you pay close attention to the splitters right below Blue's upper laser cannon. However, this was largely hindered by the previously mentioned cannon. It was also able to disconnect both of Blue's laser cannons to allow Red to take the central cannon.
It's easy to attribute Red's victory to the central cannon but by 8:47 (when the cannon started firing), Red had the upper hand. The central cannon simply ensured that they would win.
naverdade blue was going to the center but blue launched two projectiles that connected to the cannon and laser preventing him from reaching the center
Spoiler alert
Red : I'm winning !
Blue : Are you sure ? (Unlock lasers before red and kept red at a disadvantage)
Red : Yes (Disconnected Blue's lasers)
Blue : DAMN YOU !!! (Snapped Red's laser)
Red : Time for one finishing move...(Uses Central nuke)
Spoilers
Blue knew they were done for the moment Red charged the Radiator to maximum power.
Also, I wanna see more of this type of stuff.
The blue bullet (bomb) really helped the red team to acquire the laser gun at 6:08. lol
This was a particularly enjoyable marble race
This is quite possibly one of my favorite things you've ever done. It could be different every time.
To that end, would you be willing to post a download for this, or other things, so that we could experience all sorts of possible outcomes? I went looking all over your channel and the web for downloads, and I apologize if I've missed prior discussion, but I had Algodoo previously and couldn't think to make something like this.
3:37 Lmao blue's bullets knocked a red wire into a cannon.
4:30 They did it again!
8:30 Mid-wheel time!
One of best parts of these videos is spend the first minute figuring out how everything works. Honestly feel like a genuine achievement.
Both had stems growing backwards at first. Blue's stems was all tied up in turrets. Blue not expanding was what killed him. Sure he had the first laser turret, but Red was far closer to the center. I figured it would all come down to who controlled that center piece.
Blue litteraly was trying to flex his power the whole way, then he lost.
IT'S THE BEST CONTENT ON UA-cam
Those two red tendrils kept getting knocked out of the way of the center cannon and stuck on the splitter node above it. Had me freaking out.
6:28 Look closely to the red cannon at the top. Its shots synced to the beat of the song.
Blue doomed themselves early on by avoiding the first row of branches. It was a good effort afterwards but that terrible start couldn't be overcome.
Idea : multi core battle, so the way it works is both teams start with one core and whoever’s main core is destroyed first loses, but they can “fight” for more cores (not main cores) and they have 4 different types of cores, shield, witch adds barriers witch are blocks, attack, witch attacks barriers, intercepter, witch keeps the barriers from being attacked, and super lazer, witch is a big lazer that goes through 5 blocks, and now I will list the amount of of cores each type can have.
Attack : 4
Shield : 5 (one for main core and the other 4 are for the other 4 cores, but once a core is destroyed the number goes down by one)
Intercepter : 2
Super lazer : 2
The 4 cores listed above can also be destroyed, and they have their on shields that can be destroyed.
THIS IDEA IS NOT THE SAME AS THIS VIDEO
Blue: "Invest into lasers! It seems very effective at controlling their growth"
Red: "Fool! Bombs will tear you to pieces!"
At first I was like: yo this is cool!
Then the branches started moving around and I was like: *WHAT THE F-*
On every video of yours I start to wonder... For example on this one:
- Do you know what is the probability of every "basket" the marbles are falling into?
= It seams like it would be "the further you go the probability is getting smaller" but at the end with all that marbles it seams like the probabilities are almost identical. Did you do any experiments on how the probabilities changes depending on the movements of canon and marbles fired? Is there any other dependencies that makes the probabilities different?
On another videos where the marbles are falling down in seperates boxes for each collor (those "multiply or release" ones) I must ask myself a question:
- It seams like every marble is starting at exactly the same position and the boxes are identical but even for that you get different results. Why is that?
= I thought if it isn't because of Chaos theory. It seams like every marble is at the same starting position but every marble is moved few pixels randomly on the x or y axes and thus the end results are very different. Or Maybe it is becuase in some indecisive movements there is a random number generator that decides "go left" or "go right" and thus the randomnes is added to the mix.
Every video of yours makes me wonder...
Trees part 4!
Please make more!
Red: COME ON I WANT TO CONNECT TO THE MIDDLE ONE!!
Blue: No way I'll keep stopping red
And finally..
Red: FINALLY MY MIDDLE ONE IS CONNECTED, time to acivate it!
And that gun is so op, Red finally won a comeback!
Red is so evil, ok?
I think no...
spoiler warning:
blue went for weapons early, but red focused on expanding. this gave blue an early game advantage, and it looked like he was going to win when his bottom laser was essentially in perpetual shooting mode. but then red found an opening and severed blue's connection to both lasers (canceling all shots from there on out), and started its own perpetual shooting and growing towards the center node, and at this point it's a good old fashionned red comeback episode.
i miss crisis mode
I always get nervous when my team’s winning early on, because there’s nearly always a comeback in these
またもや面白いもの作ってるな……
Have you made a tutorial? I would love to learn how to use Algodoo like you
Edit: or you could make an unedited video of you making a track/game with no commentary
lets go im early, also milan never seems to disappoint
Fun to watch.
At first glance, it seems unpredictable, but once you realize that the game ends when someone controls the center, the reason blue lost becomes extremely apparent.
Blue had a dominant bottom half, that's pretty clear. But once all of blue's bottom paths connected to the cannon, they could no longer work toward the center because their paths can't continue after sticking to the cannon. That means their strength became their weakness, as half of their potential to reach the center was stunted. If red had the ability to use its lower cannons and sever blue's lower cannons, those blue paths could have resumed their run for the center, but it couldn't happen because blue's cannon was almost always active preventing red from having their lower cannons.
In short, blue needed at least one tendril free on the bottom half so it could build its way to the center, but it was too focused on firepower and not on building. Red built fast on the upper half, and blue's cannons on the lower half couldn't stop it. A totally reasonable result.
You should make a connection battle 2 but this time if one core is destroyed they DONT all get destroyed, also add some new weapons and some different stuff like new balls for like straight or left but just different.
i love these battles but i've noticed a frustrating pattern. the right side almost always wins. i think i've only seen the left side win once. even if it's asymmetrical like attack vs. defense, if the defense is on the right side it will win. i've amde a point of always betting on the right side now and i've only lost once
These are always so cool. I hope these become a popular form of gambling like pachinko.
I love tree battle, and I love core destruction, so I love this vid!
me: blues gonna win hes destroying red
red: hey you know blue i dont think so ima get like infenite balls so you just drop dead ok? ok here we go!
I actually do not like the color red that much, but here red is so clutch men. Red deserves a fanbase
Red actually didn’t clutch this battle... in fact red was always pretty much winning from the start even though it was kinda obscured because at one point blue was winning offensively.. but overall red was winning the entire thing from the start
Red got so lucky in this battle. It ended up with a web of inputs and outputs that took a small input and made it into a tidal wave of pulses. So when it got over 10 inputs at once it basically instantly won. Do more of these Mikan, they're amazing
Realise what happens if 2 connectors will connect to each other and to 1 simple cannon
I feel like every time now that it is a 1v1 battle, the team I root for always loses lol
Wow. That’s some amazing designing! Keep up the good work!
Im surprised there wasnt an infinite loop between two splitters to gain infinite value
I don't know is this idea old or new, but looks cool
I see how the winner played it. They went through loads and LOADS of connections, and when it headed for center it was all over because with just a few marbles that thing will be full in an instant.
My brain can't processed anymore what's goin' on
I think this is the same system that he uses in the growing tree battle
And it’s perfect
that is why a country want to access nuclear weapons
3:39 blue team helps red team
Blue was like “yea we can make a cool circle :)”
I like how it’s basically the urban “dominant brain side” myth. Blue is trying to form a grid (sort of) and red is just pure chaos.
EEEK! IM EARLY! hope all of yall have a great day and Mikan? Thus is a really good idea! Do it with a bracket with all the colors!
I like it,tree Battle + weapon!

red wins!
While both parties fought well, blue unknowingly got themselves killed by focusing too much attention towards it's main laser cannon, leaving next to no lines left to connect to other towers, when that tower got destroyed blue had next to no offense left beyond the singular large orb cannon, while red had tons of lines to act as defensive measures as well as a laser tower of thier own to use to suppress blue as it went for the large tower in the middle, ultimately securing red victory.

Well blue loses because in it's advantage time, it's branches are all connected to guns so it can't capture the middle turret.
Please more tree growing battles!
Love them so much❤️❤️❤️

Jesus christ Blue, were you allergic to having a winning strategy? Yes, you had weapons, but you also handicapped yourself.
Red did not defeat Blue. Blue defeated Blue. All Red had to do was get to the center for a free win.

Blue's bottom laser is the true MVP here.
My boy was putting on WORK.
Blue be dead ages faster if it wasn't for it.
Blue's bottom laser refused to let red have their bottom laser
Then again, red ended up getting revenge on this by severing blue bottom laser with their bottom laser. Heck, red even took out blue's top laser in the same 3 seconds. Payback at its fullest.
