I posted a couple of videos in the past that shows you cannot propagate Aloe vera from a leaf. But, there's a way or a trick to make Aloe vera propagate using its leaves. This video will show you how.

I have a 3 foot indoor aloe plant that’s around 7 years old and I just found root rot on it when taking off about 10 pups, I am so worried about it. It’s very very big, last time I repotted it, it took 3 people. Its even bigger now, I have just found your channel and I hope I can save it. Did you just let the successful leaf out in the open? I am very new to this, my mom has an aloe plant but I want to try and grow my own for my own apartment. I would Like to take from hers but maybe I should just buy my own. Any suggestions are great!
Yes, out in the open but no direct sunlight. If you're new to planting Aloe vera, I would suggest you start from planting pups.
can you show the flower colour difference of barbadensis and chinesis in the next video?? thank u
I cannot show them side by side because Barbadensis blooms on the first quarter of the year, while Chinensis usually flowers on the third quarter of the year.

Let me understand this, you cut up a pup to get one leaf to grow a root, to get back to where you were? DO you have another example? For example, how do we do that on a potted aloe that we dont have to kill.
You don't have to remove all the leaves of the plant, plant the remaining part like planting aloe vera cuttings here:

and then plant the root part of the aloe vera, just like in this video:

So, you will end up planting 3 Aloe vera and all of the three plants will propagate more pups.

Can rain water cause root rot?

Is it easier to grow aloe from pups? Why we need to propagate aloe plant from leaves? Because we cut a bit of stem with the leaf again. We don't grow plant from leaf truly.
Yes, it is a lot easier and highly recommended to plant Aloe vera using pups. The video just shows that you can do it from a leaf - although not just a leaf but a bit of stem. For some reasons, sometimes your Aloe vera plant get damaged, it would be helpful to know that you can still revive it by planting through cuttings and through its leaves.

Too much work. I just stick the pup into a cup of soil and water it well. Almost impossible to kill these plants lol!
You're right, the best way to plant Aloe vera is through its pups.
