and The Who.....but i think it's the pedal and amp that counts. Deep Purple, the loudest rock band by Guiness Book was using Fender Strat along with Jimi Hendrix but using fuzz, overdrive and bigger amps they can use.
It's because the SG Gibson was the first solid body guitar you could bend the shit out of the G string and not have to retune it immediately. So everyone played em til the foreign stuff started coming out like Ibanez
Remember seeing this band back in the seventies playing at the Lane Cove Town Hall. I stll have three of their albums on vinyl. Give them a play when the wifes out. Just crank it up. Still one of the best bands of their genre/era that I have heard.
Do you know what is right Do you know what is wrong Do you know what I mean when I sing my song Best concert I ever saw was Buffalo backing Black Sabbath at the Horden Pav in the 70's. Great times for music. 👍
Dang man this is pure gold! Ive never seen any live early footage of buffalo before,i would always listen to there albums thinking shit i'd like to see how these guys look like jamming on stage and here it is! So stoked im totally listening to buffalo again its been some time since the last time
This footage should be synched up with "Stay With Me" or "I'm a Skirt Lifter" and played on a regular basis on VH1 classics. Some of the best stuff from the 70's 99% of the masses that are even into classic rock have never heard. Glad I took a chance and bought that Buffalo compilation CD some years back, have loved these guys ever since.
I think they played my highschool, granville south. I know cold chisel , hush, dragon and Ted Murry did. I used to know helen dawn who went to auburn girls.
AWESOME performance, Buffalo totally kick arse! I did some research and found out the title they eventually gave to this song is "United Nations", this live version was actually released on their "Only Want Your Body" album as well as the studio recording en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Only_Want_You_For_Your_Body

Buffalo RULE.
DAVE TICE LEGEND.

And if you noticed, much of the first metal was created using Gibson SG guitars. Sabbath, Pentagram, Iron Claw, Buffalo, and even Blue Cheer.
Budgie too!
It's a great, light guitar to beat on... unfortunately, it looks tiny on a bigger fella. lol.

Buffalo were out shone by other much better Aussie heavy metal bands in 1970s. But still a great band. Very tight.
Really ...!! like who ??
@@robynd970 , The Angels , Rose Tattoo , Cold Chisel & many others.
Completely different bands. No one played stoner/heavy rock like Buffalo. In their particular genre they were masters and NO ONE outshone them.
@@bobdooly3706 never even heard of those bands.
Buffalo is the best

También me recordó a Michael Schenker Group, hard rock setentero...!!
