Thanks for this. That fuse was pulled a couple years ago when I parked the car and accidentally set off the alarm. I found it in the cup holder and now everything’s good!
Great video pointed out all components of the horn system, after following your video I'll be damned my car is missing the actual horns hahahaha shit... Thanks again...
I hope your still on here. I have a 300 2005 I bought at a auction that only came with just a spare key. So anytime I unlock the door with it the alarm goes on and wont shut off unless I turn the ignition on and sometimes it will still turn on randomly. Do you know what fuse it is and if I can take it off to stop making my alarm go off. Thanks
1. Tried swapping around relays 2. Tried replacing 10A/20A fuses 3. Checked connection to the horns up front Horn still does not work. Will not honk when I lock it with the fob either.
I have a Chrysler 300c and have had the Alarm Module removed along with the Immobiliser function in the ECU and the SKIM module removed also. Everything other than the horn works now. Can you tell me what I am missing here? I know the 14 and 29 fuses in the boot have to do with the Instrument cluster and the Anti Theft Sentry System but would they mess with the horn too?
I got one bro my horn work when I lock my doors but my stealing wheels controls don’t light up or work nor my horn on the steaming wheel it’s self any ideas I am trying to access the menu by pushing and holding the two buttons on the steering wheel to see if my car alternator is charging like it should but can’t do that without power to them buttons
It is likely that your clockspring is damaged. A clockspring is the electrical circuit that connects the buttons on the steering wheel to the rest of the vehicles electrical system. This issue can also be caused by either a malfunctioning steering control module or maybe a CANBUS communications issue. Try to pull error codes for clues using a scan tool.
Great video. My 2012 Chrysler 300 horn works intermittently . I checked all fuses. Stealership said its the radio but I don't know if radio could cause horn to work intermittently. What could it be?
If I take out that big black horn sensor to make my Alarm not go off when I unlock manually with key, does this mean my horn won’t work if I need to blow at someone cutting me off?! Lol
Hey man. Does this apply to the Chrylser Sebring 08? Im having horn issues and don't want to mess with fuses and relays because I don't understand shit nor does my TIPM label it easily
What issues are you having with the Horn? Your sebring doesnt have a horn fuse or relay according to my wiring diagram, the horn switch communicates with the cluster which in turn communicates with the TIPM which powers the horns.
@@LehewTech It just, one day before work, started screaming, and I couldn't stop it. Turning off the car did nothing, I just have to wait for it to stop. And now it will honk again like this randomly. I went a few days with no blaring horn until today when it started doing it at a red light. So there is no fuse?! I knew I wasn't tripping, I feel like it might be connected to something with the power steering? I had the horn go off and then my steering stopped. Fucking nuts dude
Help!! I have a 2005 Chrysler 300 Limited. My horns were fine just a like two weeks ago. NOW, when I turn ON my car the horn just starts to sound off NON-STOP. I removed the relay to make it stop so I can drive it but I don't know what issue I'm having. Can you help. Im hoping it's noting in my steering column because don't know how to fix that stuff. Anyway please let me know what I can do
It's most likely a broken clockspring.. do any other buttons on the steering wheel work? The Relay could be stuck also you can try swapping it.. also do you have an aftermarket alarm system?
He always says guys and fellas 😆😂🤣 goddess’s like me work on their own cars to not out of arrogance but from phuckery and “hell ik how” an I’m not the prissy type but I am a straight woman that loves my car it’s part of my livelihood so I can go from the gravel to heels knowing it’s importance thanks for keeping it simple to btw 😘
If you haven't gotten it fixed yet try running some wire with alligator clips from the metal bracket on the horns to the fuse box ground under the hood it fixed mine. That being said on this 300 the cross member that the horns are hooked to looks to be metal on my charger its plastic and bolting it doesn't provide a ground so I'm confused on how they worked from factory
Pretty helpful video, I'm decently car savvy without having any sort of training and im well aware electronics need grounds but didnt occur to me for these dang horns guess some alligator clips will work for now

Can you help me out with the 2009 Chrysler 300 where is the relay located?
Great video... The Horn fuse is the same as the AC clutch... My AC had gone out also. So this fix 2 issue!!
You know what’s funny Tommy horn is really quite and my Ac is out too ! I’m check the fuses tomorrow hopefully that’s the case here too !

You’re showing 2006 Chrysler but mine is 2009 Chrysler 300 any possible you can show me where exactly where the horn relay is located

You probably have a faulty clockspring but further diagnostics are needed.
